The RAM's posted above is about 50 Euros costlier in OP's country. And it's Intel XMP. For AMD, you will need Expo for better compatibility.

What I am saying is, in OP's country, 96GB(2*48) 5400Mhz CL32/38 is nearly the same price of 128GB(4*32) 6000Mhz CL30 RAM.

so, if OP can get faster 6000Mhz CL30 RAM and 128GB for around the same price of 96 GB. Then buying the costly 96GB doesn't make sense..

Also, allready mentioned above that, OP's chosen mother board supports 4 slot 6000+ speed. Given that the RAM is single rank(Almost all DDR5 RAMs are 1R)

The 3000-4000 speed limitation for 4x RAM was an old issue a year ago.. the newer motherboards and the New BIOS and recent updates have started to support the higher speed...

Anyways. I guess OP has already decided on the system config.. The RAM requirement and usage depends on them...

if need faster pay more, if solver pay less... And all official numbers it's just what they guarantee, for example my motherboard, ram and CPU supports up to 3200, but I'm running stable on 3333, because 4 sticks DDR4. As I said for most people 96 GB will be enough for next 3-5 years, and for example 2x48(96) GB on 6600 MHz will be much better than 4x32(128 GB) on 3600-4000...

Only difference between high end and low end systems will be render time and ability to work with large projects. That size depends on amount of RAM you have and the size of project you want to work with.

I don't know my Vengeance DDR4 (2x32+2x16) 3200 works well with 3950x on XMP profile and even a little bit faster than officially can run, and maximum what I saw usage was ~70 GB of RAM - google chrome with around 100 tabs opened, 3DS Max + V-Ray and Twinmotion with heavy project and using virtual memory for GPU. So why I'm saying for most people will be enough that 96 GB but faster than 4 sticks with 128 GB, and as well with opinion to have +64 GB extra against 128 GB if you will need extra memory in future just can add another 2x48 GB. You are right everybody should to choose depends of what they need and I just tried to share one more additional way which I'm going to do on my next set-up after some my research...

But it's not worth the extra expense. Atleast in the above party's country.

2*48 is about 455-460 USD. If you add 20-25 dollars, you can get 4*32 and get 128GB 6000 MHz.
