Hi guys, please i need assist regarding the new vray 7beta for 3ds max… i recently installed the latest beta release on my max 2024 and it’s requesting license…
I thought beta’s are for free?

My friend has this LAPTOPS OPTIONS What should He go for considering the following:

1. Budget $850 to $950 including Taxes and shipping to our country.

2. Mostly used software AUTOCAD, LUMION, Sketchup, VRAY for Sketchup later on D5 render.

3. Simply a Civil Engineer who also does some archviz.

What do you guys think?

It's 6 folders until updates folder and then another 2 folders untill you get to the installer SetEn.exe.

Usually the setup is just inside the first AutoCAD downloaded installation content folder... Get that out to the main drive.

If its still missing stuff. It's either corrupted or download is incomplete..

You mean the render setup file? Setup file is inside 3 subfolders

It's loaded, texture isn't loaded. Use relink bitmaps to link material library folder

Either your HDRi is not a HDRi,it's a normal 360 image or something is wrong with your color mapping settings..

Just reset the render settings and render again.

It's obvious that the second one is best of the bunch here.

Going for the highest end possible, you can Forget Intel arc graphics laptop, and RTX 3050 laptop.
Remaining both are 4050 laptops. So the difference comes in CPU's. Out of the 2, the newer gen 8645HS is better one...

Also, if the budget is upto $950, he can check higher priced options. Maybe he can get better processor and better graphics too.

That path is fuckin long.. windows glitches if your file is inside 10 subfolders. Get required folder outside.
