How to Register a Rental Agreement in Dubai?
Ejari is a mandatory online system that registers all types of tenancy contracts in Dubai.
It was introduced by the Dubai Land Department (DLD) in 2007 to unify leasing contracts and protect the rights of both tenants and landlords.
❗️Since 2010, unregistered agreements have no legal validity.
Upon completion of the rental contract registration, the system generates an Ejari certificate, which features a unique number and a barcode. They are necessary when applying for:
