I have a question about Docker an Azure
I have an application (https://github.com/intuitem/ciso-assistant-community/) running fine on my laptop through Docker. The application is composed by 3 images (backend, frontend, and caddy, used for authentication) and I would like to move it to Azure as other people can work on the application (is a webapp used to manage the security frameworks, so, other people need to get involved such approver, contributor, etc).
We created an RG in our subscription, I thought to use AKS and setup a monthly budget of 35USD, stupid me, when you create an AKS cluster, Azure creates a second resource group (MC_resource-group-namecluster-nameregion) for managed resources associated with the cluster. This second resource group contains the VM scale sets, load balancers, and other infrastructure components.
Specifically AKS uses VM scale sets to provide node pools for your cluster, and these can incur significant costs if not managed properly. Needless to say, 35+ USD gone in less than 2 days :D lesson learned.
Now, exploring other options, I found two possible alternatives:
- Use Azure Container Instances (ACI)
- Use Azure App Service for Containers
As I would like to keep cost predictability and limited cost, I am prone to use option 2, Azure App Service for Containers, but I would like an expert opinion on that.

You can use recovery service vault and store vm backup there you can make backup policy with daily weekly monthly intervel. It's having full backup policy.
