Hi Praveen,
Its not mandatory to schedule an appointment in the ds160. I got the same situation I choose hyderabad in ds160 and got visa slot in Delhi. So it's not big deal.
And if you already have an appointment it's not recommended to change the location. bcoz if you do so you need to schedule an new appointment with new ds160 number.
Why group applicants could not schedule a slot? Anyone has suggestions. Please help. I have been trying to schedule
