A study has come out stating that low testosterone men make decisions not based on what is right, but how that decision will be perceived by others. Their mindset is fear based, survival at the cost of what is morally right. They will follow the direction of men they perceive to be stronger in fear of being cast out of the group.
High testosterone men, or what we should call “normal levels of testosterone” men, make decisions based on what they perceive to be morally right. Often, at the cost of personal gain so the community benefits. Their decisions are independent, going against the grain.
I know it’s not groundbreaking information for those of us paying attention to the world, and making every effort to be better men.
Made the decision to become a father a couple years ago.
I had kept the responsibility at bay for a long time - my lifestyle wasn’t one that I saw as immediately conducive to the time demands of fatherhood.
But it was time that ultimately made the decision for me - 40 was coming around the corner and “seldom are stones raised by the roadside for the man with no sons.” The Havamal says it’s good to have sons even if late in life, so I sent it.
Being with a woman who wants to have your son because of who you are is an important part of this alchemy: I found that all the groundwork my wife and I had put in on the relationship, our ideals, understanding of roles, etc. paid off in spades when we had a child.
Priorities in some areas shifted to be sure, but largely, I continued doing what I already was, just with added gravity: now you are a role model and archetype for your own blood to follow, and in turn, to continue your line themselves.
I’ve seen a lot of men quit on who they were when they had children. Marriages that “put the kids first” dissolve and go bitter.
This is a mistake. Provide. Be present as much as possible - but don’t become a mere beast of burden whose own story ended when your child’s began. Give them something to live up to. Aspire to the heroic, always.
Keep the fire of love burning with the mother of your child, too.
Your offspring in many ways will be a product of that love, and when your marriage is based on the bedrock of “love as an act of will,” and thrives, so will the little ones.

In modern times it's very easy to
go to the grocery store and have access to any food item year round. Most people would say this is a great thing and marvel at how far we've come. I however see this as a huge societal weakness.
In my industry I see the food transported by ships and trucks up close and it's gets pretty unclean. Produce also gets harvested early and sprayed with chemicals to survive the trip and quickly loses vitamin content. By the time it arrives in your pantry it can be weeks old and a fraction of it's fresher self.
Eating seasonal from local farms is the most effective way to get the best nutrient dense food and often at better prices. It connects you more to your food because you know where it came from, and helps support local family farms. I started our farm after learning that the eggs in the store are often already months old (in America). The more I learn, the more I want to be self sufficient and protect my family from the food industry that doesn't have our best interest in mind.

~ Projet The Pale Riders ~ troisième et dernière étape.
J’ai travaillé sur la conception du livret pendant plus de six mois en collaboration avec @baisemahache_crew. Au total; 52 pages, une vingtaine d’illustrations, une trentaine de montages photos, le recopiage à la main des paroles, et de nombreuses heures de discussion afin de travailler nos idées.
C’était un réel plaisir de pouvoir apporter ma pierre à cet édifice.

I worked on the design of the booklet for more than six months in collaboration with @baisemahache_crew. All in all; 52 pages, about twenty illustrations, about thirty photo montages, hand-copying of the lyrics, and many hours of discussion in order to work on our ideas.
It was a real pleasure to play my part on this powerful project.
We provide protection and security for men not willing to do the same in return. Far too often, we provide safety for men who hate us for being stronger and more capable.

A true evolution and awakening of the spirit requires an individual who is willing and able to travel into the depths of darkness. While also remaining defiant under the pressures of all matter of physical and psychological suffering.
Strength is earned. But it is the individual who chooses whether or not to earn that strength. To choose life. To choose to harness and display the power of their will. And to use that power to impact change in the world.
Anything is else is superficial or delusion. A shift in perception with no change in reality. And over time you can witness the rot begin to creep in because of the neglect.
The heroic path is the path of life. The path of strength. The path of duty and honor.

We’re constantly bombarded with messages to buy more, upgrade more, and to be in competition to have the newest thing to be cool. It sounds like a pretty stressful way to live, and those people are never satisfied.
We didn't have many material luxuries when I was growing up. We took care of and valued what we had. I was happier with a stick playing in the woods than my peers with a new video game. I've raised my own sons to do the same, and they've developed some awesome hobbies outside the brain rot.
I imagine each thing we complicate our lives with as a heavy chain we drag around as we go. With so many worries and vices that we keep dragging around, it gets hard to see the small things that make us happy.

Winter Solstice is the longest night of the year, when the Sun reaches the lowest point on the horizon and darkness seems to have vanquished light. Yet, what has reached rock bottom can only rise upward and grow: a new ascendant phase thus begins. Days then grow longer and light overcomes darkness. Gradually, Nature awakens and the weather turns mild once more.
The Winter Solstice is a critical moment and a particularly dramatic symbol. It embodies the beginning of a new solar year and a new life (cycle), as an everlasting sign of rebirth and victory, and as a symbol of the strength of life that overcomes death.
As the Sun rises victorious over the darkness, so must man triumph against his mortal and instinctual nature.
