Bulk dates were released last week but it lasted only for 36sec as per analysis. Which means there are more than 20,000+ people online on the server per minute
(Exact number will be more than the actual number and can be twice or thrice as such)
Many people faced waiting room, access limitation and submit error when the bulk was opened.

What will be the suggestion?
Book initial appointment what ever earliest is available if you haven't utilized any of your single chance. Then later reschedule if any date opens for your preferred date.
Single applicant may be easier to get dates (easier in the sense easy than multiple applicants).
Multiple applicants will also get date's but it's just that they have to keep a close eye to grab dates as submit issue, loading issue and waiting room issue are common to interrupt
As dec have opened today
No mini bulk or huge bulk will open this week as H1B date will open up for oct and November
Random single applicant dates will open that too for last week of October.
Next will gradually dates will open for B category

I know it's a late share
Very late share but it is necessary to aware the scenario and to make you prepare accordingly.
However getting and appointment is not something which is impossible. (But for people in US or who are busy with job, University or other activities will find it difficult to get date.
"It's bee more than three to four months that I have paid the fee but wasn't able to get an appointment".
"Are appointments actually releasing as I am unable to find date since last one month".
"Dates are available for 2026. That means 2025 is already booked too? We won't be able to get any earlier date?".
Above are the most common questions which are asked when people look for appointment. However it won't take that long to get your appointment scheduled if you are readily looking for it or approaching a good person/consultancy.
Keep hunting, keep checking
Slots are opening randomly on off time and mini bulk opens mostly as per the new pattern which is of half an hour mode. (Which means give priority to check for date in every half an hour as in 9:00 9:30 10:00 10:30 this is a pattern not a guaranteed time frame to get appointment as soon as you check it. It's a different talk if you were on the right time and on right location while looking for it😃)
B1 b2 dates are opening randomly for single applicant for delhi ofc and Mumbai consulate and vice versa

1 oct to 17th Oct with gaps in between dates for consular are available about 300+
Keep checking and if ofc opens then grab your date
