GOD’S TABERNACLE

"Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own." — 1 Corinthians 6:19 (NIV)

In recent days, we have been exploring the purpose of our creation and how we ought to live in a way that fulfills God’s purpose and pleases Him. Today's scripture teaches and reminds us about our bodies.

Your body is highly valuable before God. However, many of us have forgotten this and act as though our bodies belong to us. In some parts of the world, legal battles are fought over Control of their Bodies, with people claiming full rights over their bodies. Phrases like "My body, my choice" have become popular in debates about issues such as clothing, same-sex marriages, and abortion rights, especially in places like the U.S.

People demand the freedom to do whatever they want with their bodies. However, as believers in God, we do not have the liberty to do just anything with our bodies. The scripture clearly states, "Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God?" This reminds us that you are a spirit living in a body, and the Holy Spirit dwells in that body. The Holy Spirit is the rightful owner of your body, which is why the verse continues to say, "You are not your own." Your body is God’s temple.

Paul wrote this letter to the Corinthians to address issues of sexual immorality and promiscuity within the church. Likewise, you, as a child of God, must honor God with your body. Do not defile the temple of God with sexual immorality or promiscuity. Sadly, many people treat these sins lightly, seeing them as normal.

What You Should Do:

1. Avoid Anything That Defiles the Body: Stay away from sexual immorality, excessive consumption of alcohol, or harmful behaviors.

2. Honor Your Body as God’s Temple: Use your body to serve others, worship God, and fulfill His purpose. Engage in acts of love, kindness, and worship.

3. Care for Your Body: Live healthily, rest adequately, and maintain a balanced life.

4. Surrender Your Life to God: Acknowledge that your life is not your own. Submit your body, plans, and actions to God’s will.

Prayer: Lord, have mercy on me for defiling Your temple and failing to honor it. I ask for Your forgiveness and cleansing. Empower me to live a holy life. Amen.

SOMETHING YOU MUST NEVER FORGET

"For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may receive what is due for what he has done in the body, whether good or evil." — 2 Corinthians 5:10 (NIV)

In this verse, the Word of God highlights the essence of Christian life, the hope of eternal life, and the responsibility of believers to live according to their faith. It also teaches about the resurrection, the brevity of life on earth, and the promise of eternal dwelling with God. Furthermore, it emphasizes accountability and the reality of God's judgment.

God’s Word makes it clear that judgment applies to everyone. No one is exempt—every person, regardless of their status, will stand before the judgment seat of Christ. That is why it says, "For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ." The word "appear" does not merely refer to physical presence but also to being fully revealed. Every action, thought, and intention will be exposed.

Yesterday, I spoke about your purpose on earth, which is to do good works. As we see here, when you stand before the judgment seat, you will not be judged based on your level of education or financial achievements. Instead, the Word states, "so that each one may receive what is due for what he has done in the body, whether good or evil." Pay close attention to the phrase, "whether good or evil."

Today, people's perspectives on life have changed significantly. Some born-again Christians have forgotten the purpose of their existence on earth. They no longer prioritize the command to live holy lives and to do good to others. Instead, they are preoccupied with worldly matters and have neglected the reality of eternal judgment.

Our life on earth is temporary; God created you to live forever. Today, I remind you that there is life beyond this one—this is what you should never forget. In everything you do, remember that what will grant you eternal joy in the end is your deeds. Therefore, strive to do good while you are still here on earth, as this is what truly matters and holds eternal value to God.

Prayer: Lord Jesus, I ask for Your grace to enable me to do good deeds here on earth so that at the end of my life, I may live in Your eternal joy. Amen.

THINGS TO CONSIDER TO ACHIEVE YOUR VISION

"The LORD answered me and said, Write the vision and make it plain on tablets, that he may run who reads it." — Habakkuk 2:2

Perhaps you are one of those people who are constantly switching from one thing to another in life. Today, you might find them doing one job, tomorrow they’re doing another. Or today, they’re in one business, and tomorrow they’ve shifted to farming. It’s hard to pinpoint what they do or what their purpose truly is.

This often stems from not knowing one’s purpose on earth and lacking clear goals. Today, I’ll teach you four important things about identifying your purpose and how to achieve your goals.

1. It is God who will give you a vision of what you are meant to do.
This vision does not always come as a dream while you sleep but rather as an inner drive or something you feel deeply capable of doing.

2. You must understand the vision God has given you.
If you misinterpret your vision, you won’t fulfill God’s purpose. Instead, you’ll end up doing things outside of the intended vision.

3. Write your vision down.
If you don’t write your vision, it becomes easy to abandon it and start something else, especially when you face challenges.

4. Understand that every goal and vision has its appointed time.
God is neither late nor early. Knowing this will help you develop patience and perseverance. At times, it will also give you the drive to do what is necessary to fulfill your vision within its timeline.

Therefore, it is important to consider these points and pray to God about your life so that you can live a purposeful life and achieve the vision He has placed within you.

Prayer: Lord Jesus, I ask for Your guidance and wisdom to help me stay focused on the purpose You have given me.

VALUE WHAT YOU HAVE

"Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.'" — Hebrews 13:5

Desiring what others have often stems from insecurity or greed. When we lack confidence, we compare ourselves to others—we observe what they possess, how they dress, the cars they drive, or the places they visit during holidays and vacations.

This leads us to measure ourselves against others, making a comparison list of their achievements and possessions against us. If we feel we are doing better than them, we are content and happy. But if we feel we are falling behind, our hearts may be tempted to envy their possessions and compete with them.

However, it’s important to know that God, through His commandments, has instructed us not to covet what belongs to others. In Deuteronomy 5:21, He says: "You shall not covet your neighbor’s wife. You shall not set your desire on your neighbor’s house or land, his male or female servant, his ox or donkey, or anything that belongs to your neighbor.”

The Bible teaches us to abandon envy and greed and instead learn to be content. True happiness comes from recognizing that everything we have in life is a gift from God. His love and grace are sufficient to fill our hearts and help us enjoy our lives.

Contentment doesn’t just mean refraining from wanting more; it also involves having a deep and genuine relationship with Jesus. Today’s scripture assures us that He has promised to always be with us, guiding us and providing everything we need.

Some people in the church are good Christians outwardly, but they still struggle with envy. If you are one of them, know that you need Jesus in your heart. Surrender completely to Him so He can help you. Only He can truly satisfy the desires of your heart. Without Jesus, you will continue chasing the endless desires of this world.

Prayer: Lord Jesus, I ask You to remove envy and greed from my heart and help me be content with what You have given me. Amen.

OBEY GOD TO SUCCEED

"And whatever we ask, we receive from Him, because we keep His commandments and do those things that are pleasing in His sight." — 1 John 3:22

For someone to succeed in life, they don’t necessarily need prestigious things like a high level of education, a wealthy family background, or an extraordinary talent. Success is a great mystery and is something that society as a whole has not fully understood.

In today’s world, some people may succeed because of their intelligence or because they work very hard. But In the book of 1 Samuel 25:2-3, we read about a rich man named Nabal who had great wealth, but the Bible says, "but the man was harsh and evil in his deeds; he was of the house of Caleb." So, you can see that he did not succeed because of intelligence, diligence, or a unique talent. There are many ways of achieving success.

Now, today’s verse says, "And whatever we ask, we receive from Him, because we keep His commandments and do those things that are pleasing in His sight." If you rely on God and ask Him daily to make you successful in life, this verse sheds more light on how that works. As a believer, you will be successful when God blesses, answers your prayers, and makes your efforts successful.

God blesses and prospers a person because he keeps His commandments. As it was for Job, he was wealthy and successful because he followed God's commandments. If you keep God’s commandments, you are working together with Him. So, whatever you ask for, He will grant it for His glory. If you do not keep His commandments, you will be out of alignment with Him, and God can not bless someone who is working against Him.

So, today, connect with God by obeying Him so that He may bless you and provide all your needs when you ask Him. The path to success for those who believe in Christ is different from that of others. Your success lies in obeying Him and doing what pleases Him.

Prayer: Lord Jesus, I ask that You grant me obedience and the strength to keep Your commandments so I may succeed in my life. Amen

YOUR VICTORY OVER THE ENEMY

"And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death." — Revelation 12:11

If you’re going through a spiritual battle or facing challenges, it doesn’t mean you’re weak or that you’ve sinned. Spiritual battles are part of the Christian life. Ephesians 6:10-12 Says;

“Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.”

This means that we need to be aware of our enemy, Satan. When he attacks, God calls us to stand firm and resist him in faith, using the power of Jesus. Many people, when facing spiritual attacks, start blaming themselves or thinking they must have done something wrong to deserve it. But remember, being attacked doesn’t mean you’ve failed.

Your main weapon against the enemy is the Name and Blood of Jesus. The Name of Jesus gives you the authority to stand against Satan, while the Blood of Jesus carries divine power. It sanctifies and gives you legitimacy to fight your enemies. When you use these weapons, you must understand why you’re using them, so your faith stays strong.

Victory over the enemy doesn’t come from your own strength or righteousness. It comes through Jesus, who defeated Satan by dying on the cross and rising again. He has already won the victory. So, when you stand firm in faith, trust in the power of the Name and Blood of Jesus to protect and deliver you. Speak boldly and rebuke Satan without fear, knowing that Jesus is with you.

Prayer: Thank You, Lord Jesus, for Your Name and Your Blood, which give me victory over Satan. I trust in Your power to keep me safe and strong. Amen.

GOD IS THE ONE WHO HELPS YOU

"Behold, God is my helper; the Lord is the sustainer of my soul." — Psalm 54:4 (NKJV)

Yesterday, we saw how faith in the Word of God gives you life. But today, this message is specifically for someone who is going through a difficult challenge and feels they have no one to help. No matter how overwhelmed or alone you feel, remember that God is with you. He is your helper, and you can have unwavering faith that He will see you through.

In our human nature, we long for voices to comfort us, arms to hold us, and the presence of certain people in our lives that will never leave us. We need people to love, guide, and value us. But even after receiving comfort from others, we often find that the pain remains. The loneliness returns once their words fade.

This is because the wounds you carry are in your soul, and only God can heal them. David knew this, which is why he was bold to say, “God is my helper; the Lord is the sustainer of my soul.” David understood that no human could truly heal the deepest parts of his being—only God could reach that far.

There’s a popular saying that “time heals.” But true healing doesn’t come from time alone; it comes from God. Time may dull the pain, but only God can fully heal the wounds within and restore you. Without His touch, unresolved pain can continue to affect your life in ways you may not realize.

So, if something is troubling your heart, surrender it to God. Bring your pain to Him in prayer, and trust that He will heal you. Only He can give you the peace and joy you seek. There is no substitute for His healing presence.

Don’t feel lonely. God is with you, even if you don’t see Him working to change your situation right now. His love is unfailing and everlasting. Where human comfort reaches its limits, God’s love begins and reaches deep within. He is enough to give you hope, strength, and peace at all times.

Prayer: Jesus, I need You. You know how deep my hurt goes. I ask that You heal me and restore my joy and peace. Amen.

STEPPING INTO DARKNESS

"So the people stood afar off, but Moses drew near the thick darkness where God was." — Exodus 20:21

Times of darkness come to each of us. We may face deep grief, confusion, failure, rejection, or spiritual dryness. How well you endure and overcome these moments depends on the relationship you’ve cultivated with God before these times arrive.

When you’ve built yourself up spiritually through daily prayer and learning God’s Word, your relationship with Him grows strong. This foundation becomes a source of strength, and when darkness comes, you can face it with faith and assurance that God is with you.

A person with an intimate relationship with God is not easily intimidated by hardship. They understand that God is always present, even in the shadows. This was true for Moses. When the Israelites witnessed the terrifying signs as God descended on the mountain—the fire, the thick smoke, the powerful voice of God—they were filled with fear and retreated (Exodus 20:18-20). But Moses was unafraid. He approached the darkness with confidence, knowing that God was there.

This is the courage that comes from a close relationship with God. When you trust Him, you know that even in the darkest times, you’re not alone. Just as Moses walked into the thick darkness to meet God, and just as Daniel encountered God in the lions’ den and in the blazing furnace with his friends, you too can trust that God is with you in the midst of your trials.

So do not give up or retreat in fear like the Israelites. Remember, the darkness you face may be a place where God is waiting to meet you, to teach you, and to strengthen you. Believe that He is there, ready to save and sustain you. As Psalm 23:4 reminds us, “Yes, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; for You are with me.”

Prayer: Thank you, LORD, for Your faithfulness. I trust that even in the darkest times, you are there to fight for me, to teach me, and to rescue me. Amen.

THE WAR WITHIN–OVERLOOKED ENEMY

"Dear friends, you are foreigners and strangers on this earth. So I beg you not to surrender to those desires that fight against you. - 1 Peter 2:11 CEV

For a long time, we’ve been focused on battling external enemies—the ones we can see. These are people with bad intentions, those who may want us to fail, we also fight against evil spirits, demons, and principalities. While it’s important to guard against such threats, there is a greater enemy we often overlook. This enemy is closer than we realize—it lies within our own bodies.

In God’s Word, an enemy is anything or anyone that hinders God’s purpose in your life. This inner enemy knows that the real you is your soul, so it wages war against it. As scripture says, “And who is he who will harm you if you become followers of what is good?” (1 Peter 3:13). For the enemy to truly harm you, he must first lead you into sin, pulling you away from God’s protection and peace.

Your greatest enemy, then, is anything—especially within yourself—that tempts you to do wrong and sin against God. Today’s message focuses on the battle with your own body. “For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. The carnal mind is enmity against God; it does not submit to God’s law, nor can it do so. Those who are in the flesh cannot please God” (Romans 8:6-8).

Galatians 5:19-21 describes the works of the flesh, which can lead us astray and cause destruction. These are actions like adultery, hatred, jealousy, anger, selfish ambitions, envy, and more. When we give in to these desires, we feel distant from God’s protection and peace. But through His grace, He always calls us back.

Allow the Holy Spirit to rule in your life, guiding your thoughts and actions. The Spirit empowers us to resist temptation and fills us with peace and purpose that the flesh cannot provide. “But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. Now, if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not His. And if Christ is in you, the body is dead because of sin, but the Spirit is life because of righteousness” (Romans 8:9-10).

Prayer: Oh Lord, I commit myself into Your hands. May Your Holy Spirit guide me, helping me to resist the desires of the flesh and live according to Your will. Amen.

DO NOT COMPARE YOURSELF TO OTHERS

"I know what it is to be poor or to have plenty, and I have lived under all kinds of conditions. I know what it means to be full or to be hungry, to have too much or too little. Philippians 4:12 CEV"

God’s purpose for humankind is for everyone to succeed, but each person has their own season. Just as each flower blooms in its own time, each of us has a time set by God. When that season comes, God will make you prosper. Until then, keep praying and working hard, trusting in His timing.

When you look at your peers, former classmates, family members, or others in your age group and see their success, it’s easy to start comparing. Maybe a friend just built a new house or got a high-paying job, or perhaps someone you know is getting married. If you feel like you’ve achieved more, you may feel good about yourself. But if you feel like you’re still “behind,” it’s easy to feel discouraged and inadequate. This is where your perspective can become distorted.

Some people think they are better than others simply because they have succeeded financially. They may feel they’re smarter or more hardworking than those who haven’t reached the same level of success. Some even openly criticize others, not realizing that the person they see as “lazy” or “unsuccessful” is actually working harder—waking up earlier, going to bed late, and still going through economic challenges. Today’s message is for both those who have succeeded and those who haven’t: don’t compare yourself with anyone, thinking you’re superior or inferior because of your success.

God measures us differently than the world does. While people often look at wealth, status, or appearance, God values our souls. Our value before God doesn't increase because of money, titles, or possessions. God values us more based on kindness, generosity, faithfulness, and love. These are the qualities that bring us closer to Him and reflect His light in the world.

The Word of God says, “Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.” - James 1:17. So, trust in God, and He will make you prosper in your season. If you are successful, value and love everyone around you. And if you’re still waiting for your time, remember that God’s timing is perfect. Don’t compare yourself with others or think of yourself as better or worse than anyone else.

Prayer: Lord Jesus, I pray for calmness and wisdom so that I do not compare myself with anyone. Help me not to sin against You by envying others or feeling superior. Let me rest in Your timing, and let me see my worth through Your eyes. Amen.

RECOGNIZE THE PURPOSE OF THE GIFTS GOD HAS GIVEN YOU

“Each one, as they have received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of the varied grace of God.” - 1 Peter 4:10

Do you know why the Lord created you? Are you fully utilizing the spiritual gifts He has given you? Recognizing and using your gifts is essential for a meaningful life here on earth.

Think of a skilled craftsman who must know which tool to use for each job. In his workshop, he has many tools, each with its specific purpose. When he uses the right tool, he can accomplish his task with ease and produce exceptional quality. But when tools are used incorrectly, both the tool and the work can be damaged.

This same principle applies to the gifts God has given you. Through the Holy Spirit, He has uniquely equipped you to build His kingdom by giving you his gifts which might include teaching, compassion, leadership, hospitality, or other talents intended to uplift others. These gifts can look different for everyone—some might have the gift of encouragement, while others are called to serve, give generously, or provide wise counsel. Every gift is unique and valuable in God’s kingdom.

However, if you work outside your strengths or use your abilities in ways contrary to His will, you may find yourself feeling exhausted, confused, or even discouraged. God has given you these gifts so that you may glorify Him and experience the fulfillment that comes from serving according to His purpose. When you use them to serve others in love, God’s grace is multiplied, and great things happen.

Take a moment to reflect: Are you using your gifts in the way God desires? Is what you're doing now aligned with His purpose for you? If not, ask Him to show you how to use the gifts He has given you correctly so that you may live according to His purpose. When you embrace and use your gifts as God intended, you’ll find a deeper joy and fulfillment, knowing that you’re a vital part of His work in the world.

Prayer: Jesus, thank You for the gifts You’ve given me. Help me to recognize, develop, and use them in line with Your purpose. Amen.

YOU NEED JUST ONE THING

"For she said within herself, If I may but touch his garment, I shall be whole." - Matthew 9:21 (KJV)

During a Gospel revival in southern Africa, a man attended an evangelistic meeting for the first time. He had never heard of Jesus or read the Bible—this was his first encounter with these teachings. As the preacher spoke about salvation, he repeatedly quoted John 3:16: "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."

These words touched him deeply. He believed the message of the Gospel and accepted Jesus as the Lord and Saviour of his life. As the meeting continued, the preacher prayed for the people, and remarkable miracles happened—the sick were healed, the blind received their sight, and the lame walked. Then, the preacher announced that those who accepted Christ could perform similar miracles in His name. And this new believer believed.

In those days, when someone got saved, they were given a Bible and encouraged to go out the very next day to share Jesus with others. This man followed that path with faith, even though he knew only one verse: John 3:16. With unwavering belief, he travelled to nearby villages, preaching the Gospel and praying for the sick. At one of his small gatherings, a crippled person was brought to him. Remembering the preacher's words, he prayed with the only verse he knew by heart. To everyone's amazement, the crippled person stood up and walked.

Just like the woman in Matthew 9:21 who said, "If I only touch the hem of his garment, I will be healed," this man found that one truth he needed to believe in. He held onto John 3:16 as the cornerstone of his faith, and God worked wonders through him. Over time, his ministry grew, and he touched countless lives. He was later ordained as a bishop.

You don’t need to touch Jesus everywhere to receive healing; you don’t need to know the whole Bible to perform miracles. To God, your faith and the steadfastness of your heart are more important than anything else.

So, what’s one thing about God that you believe deeply? Among everything you know, choose one promise, one verse, one truth, and hold onto it with all your heart. When you do, you’ll see amazing changes in your life. You don’t need everything you think you do. Just believe in that one word God has spoken to you, and you will see amazing things.

Prayer: Lord Jesus, grant me the spirit of faith and steadfastness. Help me to hold onto that one promise, that one word you’ve spoken over my life, and trust that it’s enough. Amen.

FINDING BLESSINGS THROUGH FAMILY RESPONSIBILITIES

"But if anyone does not provide for his own, and especially for those of his household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever." (1 Timothy 5:8 NKJV)

One day, I was watching a sermon on television, and the Pastor was teaching about family curses, specifically focusing on the curse of poverty. He explained how decisions made by parents can cause curses for themselves and future generations. After the lesson, he organized a special day of prayer for families, asking the congregants to come with their relatives. During the prayer, he would pray for families to break curses and declare blessings.

On the following program, A young lady had brought her father from their village, hoping to break the curse of poverty that had plagued their family. She explained to the Pastor how she had been struggling in the city, working hard but unable to achieve her goals, and believed it was due to a curse. The preacher asked her to call her father forward.

When the father stood before him, the Pastor pointed out a visible contrast. The young lady was well-dressed and she had a smartphone, while her father was wearing dirty, oversized clothes. The preacher said, “If I pray for you and bless you, it won’t help you. Look at yourself, and look at your father.” He explained that the real issue wasn’t a curse but her neglect of her father, who had sacrificed to send her to school.

The Pastor told her, “There is no curse greater than this. With the little you’ve earned, you could have at least bought your father some decent clothes." The father began to cry. The preacher added that there are blessings he cannot give, as they come from honoring and caring for one’s parents.

The Bible teaches that failing to provide for one’s family is a serious offence, worse than unbelief. I shared this story with you because I believe true blessings come when you honor and care for your parents, spouse, and children. To receive God's blessings, we must take care of our families. It’s not enough to give offerings or care for church leaders while neglecting your own household.

Prayer: Lord Jesus, help me be responsible for my family so that I may receive Your blessings. Amen.

GOD'S PLAN TO PROSPER YOU

"But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Matthew 6:33 (NIV)"

God wants you to prosper, and He has a specific plan and method to ensure your success. This special way God has designed for your prosperity is clearly outlined in today’s verse. Let’s break it down: so let us break this verse down;

1. What is the Kingdom of God?
The Kingdom of God is His rule over all creation, especially in the hearts of His people. Seeking the Kingdom means living according to God’s will, building a relationship with Him, and working to fulfill His purposes on earth.
The word "seek" implies deliberate and consistent effort. It’s not a one-time decision but a daily endeavor to prioritize God in every area of life.

2. "And His Righteousness"
Righteousness is living a life that reflects God’s character and standards. It involves moral integrity, obedience to His commandments, and living by faith.

3. "And All These Things Will Be Added to You"
“All these things” refer to the basic needs of life: food, drink, and clothing (Matthew 6:31-32). Jesus assures you if you prioritize God, He will ensure your physical needs are met.

What You Need to Do:

1. Give God Priority in Your Daily Life
Start each day with prayer, Bible reading, and seeking His guidance for your plans. Make decisions aligned with God’s priorities—love, justice, mercy, and humility.

2. Trust God’s Provision
Let go of worries about your physical needs and trust in God’s faithfulness. Cultivate gratitude for the blessings you already have.

3. Live a Righteous Life
Examine your actions and decisions to ensure they align with God’s Word. Pursue holiness by relying on the Holy Spirit for guidance and strength.

4. Focus on Eternal Life
Instead of chasing temporary wealth or worldly success, invest in spiritual growth and serving others. Share the Gospel and actively work to advance God’s Kingdom on earth.

When you do these things, God will bless the work of your hands. Even if you currently have nothing, He will provide opportunities for you to prosper. You will experience financial success and, ultimately, inherit the Kingdom of God.

Prayer: Thank you, God, for Your blessings and the wonderful plan You have to prosper me. Enable me to follow Your instructions faithfully. Amen.

THE PURPOSE OF YOUR CREATION

"For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them." — Ephesians 2:10

The phrase "His workmanship" originates from the Greek word "poiema," meaning "something skillfully crafted" or "a masterpiece." Believers are described here as God's masterpiece. This emphasizes that God created us with purpose and immense love. We are not here by accident; rather, each of us has been divinely and uniquely crafted by God.

This means you are evidence of God's creativity and intentionality. By being "His workmanship," we reflect His glory in how we are made and how we live. Therefore, you must change your perspective and take pride in how God has created you.

These words also indicate that this creation is not merely physical but spiritual. When we accept Christ as our Savior, we become new creations (2 Corinthians 5:17). Being created in Christ involves being reborn through faith, where our lives are transformed, and we become part of God's family.

The purpose of our new creation is to perform good works. These works are not actions we do to gain God's approval but are the results of our salvation. These good works include serving God and others, demonstrating love and mercy, and living righteously and humbly before God.

Therefore, the work you do now or the gifts and financial blessings God has given you are meant to be used for good works. As the Scripture says, "which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them." This means God created and blessed you for that purpose. If you are still searching for the reason for your existence, it is to showcase God's greatness by using your gifts, talents, and abilities to do good on earth. If anyone is doing the opposite of this, they are not fulfilling God's purpose for their creation.

Prayer: O God, I thank You for creating me with skill and love. Help me understand and fulfill the purpose You have for my life.

DO EVERYTHING FOR THE GLORY OF HIS NAME

"And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him." — Colossians 3:17

Many Christians try to divide their lives into spiritual and secular parts. They remember God for one hour on Sunday morning and maybe for a few minutes each day when they read the Bible and pray, but for much of their time, they leave Him out of their thoughts.

One of the most transformative concepts is understanding that we are always in God’s presence, every day and every hour. Everything we do is an act of service to Him. When the Bible says, "Do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus," it means that you are His representative and that your actions should reflect what He would do. God has entrusted you with resources to use for His glory.

Everything you have—your intelligence, gifts, talents, money, and possessions—is not solely for your personal use but for serving God. Exodus 10:24-26 illustrates this correctly:

"Then Pharaoh called Moses and said, 'Go, worship the LORD. Even your women and children may go with you; only leave your flocks and herds behind.' But Moses said, 'You must allow us to have sacrifices and burnt offerings to present to the LORD our God. Our livestock, too, must go with us; not a hoof is to be left behind. We have to use some of them in worshipping the LORD our God, and until we get there, we will not know what we are to use to worship the LORD.'”

The Israelites understood that everything they had was meant for God’s service. That is why today’s verse emphasizes, "And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him."

Prayer: Thank you, LORD, for all you have given me. I dedicate myself and everything I have to serve You. Amen.

BETTER ONE HANDFUL WITH PEACE THAN TWO WITH TROUBLES

"One hand full of rest and patience is better than two fists full of labour and chasing after the wind. Ecclesiastes 4:6 AMP"

God created us to live in joy and peace. Hardship and struggle were not part of His original plan for humanity. However, after Adam and Eve sinned, Toiling entered the world. Genesis 5:29 says:

"He named him Noah and said, 'He will comfort us in the labour and painful toil of our hands caused by the ground the Lord has cursed.'"

This struggle came about because of the curse on the ground after sin, as described in Genesis 3.

In today’s verse, "one handful" represents being content with what we have—just enough to fill our hand. It teaches us that it’s better to be satisfied with the little that brings peace than to chase after more if it causes stress and trouble.

This desire for “more” began with Adam and Eve. God had given them everything they needed in the Garden of Eden, and they were happy and at peace. But when Satan tempted Eve, saying, “You will be like God, knowing good and evil” (Genesis 3:5), she became dissatisfied. She wanted more than the peaceful life God provided. By seeking that “second handful,” they lost the peace and blessings they had and brought hardship into the world.

In our own lives, we often face similar choices. God has already provided for many of our needs. Yet, it’s easy to look at what others have and feel that we need more to be happy. But the truth is, sometimes what we have is enough. If you genuinely need something more, ask God for it and trust Him to provide in His time and way.

Avoid chasing after things out of greed, competition, or fear of missing out. The end result of that pursuit is often stress and frustration. For example, if your phone meets your needs, don’t feel pressured to buy a newer model just because it’s popular. If one car is enough, don’t burden yourself with the expenses of a second car. And if your salary meets your needs, don’t resort to unethical ways to earn more.

Think about areas in your life where you might be chasing more but losing peace. Is there something you can let go of to regain your sense of calm and contentment?

Prayer: Thank you, Lord Jesus, for all the blessings You have given me. Please grant me the wisdom to be content with what I have and not to chase after things that take away my peace. Amen.

TAKE COURAGE, JESUS IS WITH YOU IN THE STORM YOU ARE FACING

"Immediately Jesus spoke to them, saying, 'Take courage; it is I; do not be afraid.'" — Matthew 14:27

Sometimes, life overwhelms us not because we’ve made mistakes but because God allows challenges to bring us closer to Him. One day, Jesus told His disciples to take a boat across the lake while He went up the mountain to pray. Late at night, the disciples were still far from shore when a storm began. Many of them were experienced fishermen who had faced storms before, but this time was different. They were terrified and thought they might drown.

In the middle of the strong winds and crashing waves, they saw a figure walking on the water, coming toward them. Their fear of drowning suddenly faded, replaced by the shock of seeing what they thought was a ghost. But it wasn’t a ghost—it was Jesus! Jesus, the Son of God, was coming to them. He may have had a reassuring smile on His face as He said, “Take courage! It’s me. Do not be afraid.”

Just like the disciples, we also face storms in our lives that feel overwhelming. Sometimes, these storms happen because of our own choices, but other times, they happen even when we’re following God’s direction. Either way, Jesus reminds us that no storm is too big for Him. He is with us, supporting us, and His presence brings peace, no matter how fierce the storm.

When you’re going through a storm, Jesus might come to you in unexpected ways. The disciples thought He was a ghost, but it was Jesus coming to save them. In your own life, you should be careful to look out for signs of His presence, even if they come in surprising forms. Jesus might use a friend, a family member, or even a stranger to help you through a difficult time.

When Jesus reached the disciples, He said, "Take courage; it is I." By saying “Take courage,” He was reminding them to encourage themselves. When you go through difficult times, don't wait for people to encourage you. Encourage yourself through God's Word and His promises.

Jesus invites us to draw courage from knowing He is right there with us. Even if people around you seem distant or unable to help, remember that Jesus is by your side and will lead you safely through the storm.

Prayer: Lord Jesus, I know you are with me always. I trust that You will calm this storm, and I will be safe. Amen.

DON'T RUSH

"It is not good for a person to be without knowledge, and he who hurries his footsteps errs." — Proverbs 19:2

Do you have decisions to make today? Do you feel stressed or pressured to decide quickly? Today, I have a very simple message for you: "Don't Rush" Remember, in the Bible, God rarely tells people to rush. That’s not how He works.

Sometimes God might ask you to act quickly, but usually, He takes time to prepare you first. He guides you step by step, so when it’s time to act, you’re ready. God doesn’t want you to make quick choices without thinking or praying.

The enemy, though, often tries to push you to rush. He knows that if you don’t take time to ask for God’s guidance, you might make a choice that isn’t good for you. This is why the Bible often says to “wait for the Lord”.
"Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord. Psalms 27:14 NIV"

"Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him and he will do this: Psalms 37:5 NIV"
"Yes, my soul, find rest in God; my hope comes from him. Psalms 62:5 NIV"

Waiting can be hard, especially when you feel like you need answers now. But waiting gives you time to let God give you peace and direction. Rushing often leads to mistakes and regret. God’s guidance feels calm and peaceful.

Today, If you feel a lot of pressure to act quickly on a certain matter, take a moment to pause and pray. Trust that God will show you the right way in His timing.

Prayer: Jesus, I need Your help to make the right decision. Please give me clear guidance and help me wait for You. Amen.

LIVING BY FAITH IN GOD'S WORD

"The righteous will live by faith." — Romans 1:17

In your Christian journey, you will be tested daily to rely on God in everything you do. These challenges often reveal whether you truly depend on God or if something else has taken His place in your life. In each of these trials, you have the opportunity to affirm your faith by choosing to trust in God and His Word.

When Jesus was led by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil, His first test was one of faith. After fasting for forty days and forty nights, He was physically hungry (Matthew 4:2). But in that moment of need, He was challenged to decide: who would He rely on to provide for Him?

The devil tempted Jesus, saying, “If you are the Son of God, tell these stones to become bread” (Matthew 4:3). In other words, Satan wanted Jesus to prioritize physical sustenance over spiritual obedience. But Jesus responded, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God’” (Matthew 4:4).

At first, this response might seem unrealistic—after all, we need food to survive. But Jesus was pointing to a deeper truth: physical bread alone does not give life. True life requires both physical sustenance and the Word of God. If Jesus had turned the stones into bread at Satan’s prompting, He would have been relying on the devil’s word, not God’s.

This story reminds us that faith means trusting God to provide, in His way and in His time. Bread obtained through faith in God is life-giving bread. Bread obtained outside of His will may fill the body but leaves the soul empty. The righteous live by faith in the Word of God, which not only guides them to physical provision but also nourishes their spirit.

Every day, you have the choice to rely on God’s Word over worldly solutions. Living by faith in God’s Word means actively choosing His guidance over your own understanding. It means trusting that He will provide what you need when you follow His ways.

Prayer: Jesus, You are God. I believe in Your Word, and I trust that it will guide me and bring success in my life. Help me to live by faith in Your promises. Amen.

SEEK DIVINE WISDOM

"He who gains Wisdom loves his own life; he who keeps understanding shall prosper and find good. Proverbs 19:8 AMPC

We live in an era where knowledge and information are abundant. It’s an era where information finds you, rather than you seeking it. You’ll receive notifications on your phone about things you haven’t asked for; you’ll see huge billboards with messages on the streets, and even when you turn on your TV, you’ll be met with advertisements on matters you didn’t search for. Information and knowledge are everywhere.

Because of this, many people are flooded with various types of information about their issues and needs, to the point where they no longer know what to believe or what to do. For example, if you’re diagnosed with an illness today, you’ll find ads for natural remedies on social media; if you go to a doctor, they’ll suggest their treatment; if you ask a friend, they’ll tell you something else. In the end, you’re confused and don’t know which information to trust.

Having vast knowledge or lots of information and knowing many things does not guarantee that you’ll make the right decisions. You could possess all the information in the world and still make incorrect choices.

Wisdom is the only thing that can guide you to discern and understand the outcomes of each step and decision you make. And the wisdom we’re talking about here is Divine Wisdom. This kind of wisdom can reveal to you the benefits or harm of each decision you make.

This is the wisdom that God offers. Proverbs 9:10 teaches us, "The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom." Since God knows all (Omniscient) and is everywhere (Omnipresent), there’s nothing He doesn’t know. When He offers His counsel on a matter, you can be sure He is leading you on the right path.

This wisdom from God is available to anyone who asks for it. As James 1:5 promises, “If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given to him.” God doesn’t get angry or judge you because of your ignorance; He wants to help you.

If you’re in a situation where you must make tough decisions and are afraid of making a mistake, ask Jesus to guide you. Trust that He will lead you to make the right and wise decisions.

Prayer: Jesus, I trust in Your wisdom. Show me the path I should take, and help me understand the benefits or consequences of each choice before I make it. Amen.

📃 Bible 📃

There is a saying people use: "Don’t act like you are a saint." This phrase mocks the idea of holiness, making it seem like something impossible. It has also made people see thinking of oneself as holy as blasphemy or a serious wrong. But that is not how God’s word describes it. God wants you to be holy, just as He is holy. Holiness is indeed achievable.

And Almighty God says:

"The saints who are on the earth, they are the excellent ones, in whom is all my delight. Psalm 16:3 (NKJV)"

Therefore,

"Consecrate yourselves and be holy, because I am the Lord your God. Keep my statutes and do them; I am the Lord who sanctifies you. Leviticus 20:7-8 (NKJV)"

Wishing you a blessed Sunday🙏

YOUR TRUE WORTH

"But the LORD said to Samuel, 'Do not consider his appearance or his height, for I have rejected him. The LORD does not look at the things people look at. People look at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart.'" — 1 Samuel 16:7 (NIV)

The way people see and measure things is not the same as God’s perspective. Often, we forget this truth—that God, our Creator, knows us intimately and sees our true worth. The enemy tries to use people’s opinions, our weaknesses, and the circumstances around us to make us feel small and unworthy.

When Samuel went to anoint the new king of Israel, seven of Jesse’s sons passed before him, yet none were chosen by God. The one whom God had selected was out in the fields tending sheep, away from people’s eyes. While others couldn’t see his worth, David was honouring God from his heart.

God chose David not because of his outward qualities but because of his heart—a heart devoted to loving and respecting Him. Even when he was overlooked and underestimated, David remained faithful and full of love for God. This is a lesson for all of us: if you’ve ever felt rejected or ignored because you lack what the world values—like money, social status, or physical beauty—don’t lose heart. Your worth isn’t based on human standards.

You are not “less than” anyone—you were created, saved, and belong to Christ, which gives you immeasurable worth. Your true value comes from how sincerely you love and obey God from the heart. God sees you and values you for who you are within. And in His perfect timing, He will lift you up and honour you, just as He did for David.

So, the next time you feel pressured to change who you are to gain approval, remember that your worth is already secure in God’s love. Instead of focusing on outward appearances, focus on nurturing a close relationship with God. Ask Him to give you a heart that seeks Him above all, and trust that He will honour you in His way and in His time.

Prayer: Jesus, thank You for valuing me so deeply that You gave Your life for me. Help me to see my worth through Your eyes, and give me the strength to resist the pressures of the world. Amen.

NOT YOUR WAY

"For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways," declares the Lord. - Isaiah 55:8

One of the biggest challenges humanity faces is not understanding the ways of God. This disconnect grieves God, as it keeps us from experiencing the fullness of His love and guidance. As He said about the nation of Israel: "For forty years I was grieved with that generation, and said, 'They are a people who go astray in their hearts, and they do not know My ways.'" (Psalm 95:10). When we don’t know God, we tend to expect everything to be done according to our own plans.

When Naaman came to the prophet Elisha to be healed of his leprosy. Naaman already had a vision in his mind of how this healing would happen. But instead of Elisha coming out to perform a dramatic healing ritual, he simply sent a messenger with a strange instruction: "Go, wash yourself seven times in the Jordan River." Naaman was offended and angry, saying, "Behold, I thought, 'He will surely come out to me, and stand and call on the name of the Lord his God, and wave his hand over the spot and cure me of my leprosy.'" (2 Kings 5:11).

If we don’t understand God’s ways, it’s easy to feel as though He isn’t responding to our needs—simply because He isn’t acting in the way we expect. Naaman was so disappointed by Elisha’s response that he nearly walked away, risking his miracle. Fortunately, he had wise advisors who encouraged him to follow the prophet’s instructions. When he humbled himself and washed in the Jordan as instructed, he was healed.

Naaman’s story teaches us that God’s answers don’t always align with our expectations. Sometimes, the breakthrough we seek requires us to surrender our own ideas of how things should happen and trust that God knows best. Just as Naaman had to change his perspective and obey God’s instruction, we too can experience His blessings when we let go of our need for control.

Is there something in your life where you’re clinging to your own expectations? Think about areas where God may already have given you guidance, whether through Scripture, prayer, or conviction in your heart. Act on what He’s already shown you, then leave the outcome in His hands, trusting that He will accomplish it in His way.

Prayer: Lord, I ask that You teach me Your ways and give me the obedience to follow what You have told me. Amen.

WHAT DO YOU DO WHEN YOU ARE WEAK?

"Watch and pray so that you will not fall into temptation. The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak." - Matthew 26:41 (NIV)

Don’t say you have never been weak or that you never will be. We all face challenges that can drain us, moments when we feel like giving up. Even Jesus recognized this struggle, saying, "The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak." But unlike us, Jesus always found strength in prayer. When you’re in a state of weakness, what you need most is to turn to God in prayer, just as He did.

A certain pastor's wife was diagnosed with cancer. When she started feeling ill, she kept confessing that she was healed and well, quoting Isaiah 53:5, " and by His stripes we are healed." She even refused treatment. Her husband prayed for her and even asked his fellow pastor to pray for her, but she insisted, "I am healed" Her condition worsened, and she was admitted to the hospital. When people came to visit, she wouldn’t ask for prayers for healing; instead, she repeated, “I am well; let’s not confess weakness,” she asked people to confess with her that she was healthy. Sadly, the woman did not recover; she passed away.

This story reminds us that true strength comes from acknowledging our need for God’s help. Joel 3:10 says, "Let the weak say, 'I am strong,'” but that doesn’t mean denying our struggles. Rather, it’s a call to admit our weakness to God, allowing Him to fill us with His strength. Confessing our weakness to God isn’t a lack of faith—it’s an acknowledgement that we can’t do it alone. We don’t need to declare our struggles to others, but we must bring them honestly to God. Only then can we stand before life’s challenges and declare, “I am strong” with true conviction.

Without prayer, declarations like “I am strong” become empty words. Prayer fills our words with power, Empowering them with God’s strength rather than our own. Many Christians struggle because they believe they can handle everything on their own. But it’s through prayer that we receive God’s strength, which allows us to overcome life’s trials.

So, when you’re tempted by sin and feel weak, pray. When you’re facing difficulties and can barely hold on, pray. When you pray in times of weakness, don’t be afraid to be honest with God about your struggles. Ask Him for the specific strength you need. Prayer is the way to conquer your weakness and experience God’s power in your life.

Prayer: Lord Jesus, Help me to bring my vulnerabilities before You with honesty, and grant me the courage to declare Your strength in every trial I face. Amen.

ADMITTING THAT YOU'VE MADE A MISTAKE

"Confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective." - James 5:16 NIV

Have you ever been in a relationship with someone who constantly tells you that you've wronged them? Some people only see the mistakes of others, believing they’re always right. This person might be a coworker, a friend, or even your spouse.

Ironically, those who always think they’re right are often the ones making the biggest mistakes. Yet, because they already assume they’re right, they rarely see their own faults. May be this person is you. If you notice that your relationships are strained or not progressing as you’d like, it could be time to look inward and examine yourself correctly.

Our Scripture says, "Confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed." Some interpret this verse as a call to confess sins publicly to fellow believers, inviting them to pray for you. However, this verse is more personal; it calls us to acknowledge our mistakes directly to the person we’ve wronged. It’s an invitation to humble ourselves, to break down the barriers that pride builds, and to pursue peace in our relationships.

Admitting mistakes is challenging for many, especially if you’re in a position of authority. But confessing your faults doesn’t reveal weakness—it reveals maturity. Taking responsibility for your actions, especially when it’s difficult, demonstrates integrity and strength.

When it says "so that you may be healed," it speaks not only of our own inner peace but of the healing in our relationships. Admitting a fault has the power to restore trust and open the door to forgiveness. Think of a strained friendship where bitterness has quietly built up. By acknowledging your role in the conflict, you invite peace and clarity, giving that friendship a chance to thrive again.

If you’ve wronged your spouse, a friend, or anyone else, making amends can be transformative. Some things may not be offenses against God directly but against each other. It’s important to seek forgiveness from those we’ve wronged first, then bring it before God. The Word reminds us: "Confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed."

Prayer: Lord Jesus, grant me the courage to see my own faults and the strength to seek reconciliation with others. Give me a spirit of humility and wisdom so that I may live in peace and bring healing to my relationships. Amen.

PREPARING YOURSELF FOR TOMORROW BY SAVING

"The prudent see danger and take refuge, but the simple keep going and pay the penalty." — Proverbs 22:3 NIV

While we often focus on investing in the Kingdom of God, we must also be wise stewards of the resources God entrusts to us in our personal lives. Important questions to consider are: Will your current job or income always be secure? Will your ability to work remain as strong in the future? Recognizing the potential for financial challenges is a sign of prudence, as Proverbs 22:3 tells us, and it’s crucial to take steps to prepare for such uncertainties.

We have three choices with any money we receive: we can spend it, give an offering, or save it. Wisdom calls for balance—doing all three. As believers, we begin by giving an offering to honour God. After that, spending wisely and saving are essential to managing what remains.

Today, I want to focus on saving. Proverbs 6:6-8 GNT Says; Lazy people should learn a lesson from the way ants live. They have no leader, chief, or ruler, but they store up their food during the summer, getting ready for winter. Saving is not just a practical action, it’s also a spiritual one. We should not say, “Tomorrow will take care of itself.” Instead, we are called to plan and save wisely for the future, trusting that God will bless our efforts.

Here are some key principles for saving: First, live within your means. Avoid unnecessary Spending and Luxury things. Start saving now, even if it’s just a small amount. Don’t delay by telling yourself, “I’ll save tomorrow.” By developing the habit of saving today, you safeguard yourself and your family against future financial challenges. And as you practice financial discipline, God can increase what you have.

It’s also important to balance giving, spending, and saving. All three are part of being a faithful steward of God’s provision. Saving allows you to continue being generous and responsible in the future, even when hard times come. We learn from Joseph, who, with God’s wisdom, saved grains during Egypt’s years of abundance. When the famine arrived, the food he stored sustained not only Egypt but also the surrounding nations.

If you follow these principles, you not only protect yourself from future financial difficulties but also honor God with how you manage His blessings. Let us ask Him for guidance as we strive to live as wise and faithful stewards.

Prayer: Lord Jesus, help me to make wise decisions with the money You place in my hands. Grant me the discipline to balance giving, spending, and saving, and to honor You with my resources. Amen.
