GOD IS THE ONE WORKING IN YOU
"For it is God who works in you to will and to act in order to fulfill his good purpose." Philippians 2:13 (NIV)
God is within you, and when He does anything on this earth, He does it through you. It is a great honor that God has given to humanity to be his coworker.
Therefore, the abilities you have, whether intellectual or any kind of knowledge, along with blessings, are gifts from God to enable you to fulfill His good purpose. So, when God places a certain ability in you, He works through you by giving you the desire or idea to do something.
When the Word of God says, "For it is God who works in you to will and to act..." it means that when you feel the urge to do something that builds God's kingdom or anything beneficial to the community, know that this inspiration comes from God.
Satan does not want humanity to be prosperous or to live in peace; he wants us to live in poverty and suffering all the time. So, when you have an idea that will uplift your economy, as well as that of your family or the community at large, know that it is God in you working through you.
Many people think that God will only give you ideas related to church matters or spiritual things, while they see matters of economic and social well-being as the efforts of humans alone. This notion is not true.
God is concerned with all our needs. Therefore, He uses you to provide for His people's needs by giving you the desire to do those works. He also gives you the ability to carry them out. So, if you have an idea or goal to do something like a business or you want to produce a certain product or provide a service to people, first believe that it is from God, then ask Him to enable you to accomplish it.
Prayer: Oh, LORD, I pray for all my visions and ask You to enable and prosper me to do what You have placed in my heart.

GOD HAS GIVEN YOU THE POWER TO DEFEAT YOUR ENEMIES
"You give me strength for the battle and victory over my enemies." Psalm 18:39
God makes you a conqueror over your enemies by empowering you and making you strong and courageous when battles rise against you.
Many people think that when you go through difficulties and challenges, you just pray to God and then sit back without doing anything, and everything will be fine. This notion is not correct. God works within you, and there are steps you must take for Him to do His work. You can not ask God to prosper you with enough money to meet your needs and then just sit back waiting for money to come without working; that is impossible. You pray to God, and then there is work you must do so that He can bless your efforts.
When it comes to spiritual warfare, the same principle applies. David says, "You armed me with strength for battle..." which means God strengthened him to fight his enemies and defeat them. Then, "You humbled my adversaries before me." Then this victory came after David was empowered by God, and God fought the battle alongside David, giving him victory.
Ephesians 6:10-11 says: "Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes." God has invested His power within you, and He wants you to use it. But also, understand that you are not alone; He is with you to give you victory and to bring down your enemies under your feet.
Therefore, you are a co-worker of God. Have faith that within you lies the power and ability of God to overcome all kinds of battles, whether in your work, business, or against any person or thing that is your enemy, you can defeat it because in you there is divine power and wisdom, and God is with you, helping you to overcome.
Prayer: Thank you, Jesus, for your strength and power within me. I believe that I will overcome all my enemies. Amen.

FOLLOWING GOD'S INSTRUCTIONS WILL LEAD YOU TO SUCCESS
"The man became rich, and his wealth continued to grow until he became very wealthy." Genesis 26:13
We often set our own criteria for success, but these criteria can sometimes block God's blessings in our lives. Today, I encourage you to set aside those self-imposed standards and reasons you believe are necessary for success.
Today's message is about Isaac, a man whom God blessed greatly: "The man became rich, and his wealth continued to grow until he became very wealthy." Isaac lived in a challenging environment; it was a season of famine, and he was in a foreign land without a country of his own.
These circumstances could have been an excuse for Isaac not to succeed, but he did not allow that environment to discourage him. You might also be in a difficult situation like Isaac, but do not let those circumstances and challenges around you be a barrier to your success. Instead, seek to know what God says about your current situation.
God gave Isaac specific instructions, and he followed them: "The LORD appeared to Isaac and said, 'Do not go down to Egypt; live in the land where I tell you to live. Stay in this land for a while, and I will be with you and will bless you. For to you and your descendants, I will give all these lands and will confirm the oath I swore to your father Abraham.'" (Genesis 26:2-3). When Isaac chose to obey God and stayed in that land, then "Isaac planted crops in that land and the same year reaped a hundredfold, because the LORD blessed him. The man became rich, and his wealth continued to grow until he became very wealthy. He had so many flocks and herds and servants that the Philistines envied him." (Genesis 26:12-14)
So it doesn't matter what your situation is, whether it's your educational background, your family circumstances, or lack of capital—God can still bless you. Just as Isaac sowed seeds in a land of famine and reaped a hundredfold, God can teach you ways to succeed even in tough situations. Therefore, if you pray to God and follow the instructions He gives you, you will undoubtedly succeed in everything you do, just as Isaac did.
Prayer: Lord Jesus, I ask You to guide me to do what will bring me success. Help me not to lose hope or be afraid. Amen.

YOU HAVE MANY REASONS TO REJOICE AND PRAISE GOD
"Then my soul will rejoice in the LORD and delight in His salvation. Psalm 35:9"
We are busy striving to attain things that we have set as a standard of success, we have made these things the source of our happiness, and when we don't have them, we become sorrowful.
However, there are blessings that God has given us—precious gifts that can not be bought with money, and even if we choose to seek them, they can not be found anywhere except God.
Don't focus on the things that the world esteem very highly and valuable, beyond anything else things like wealth, a high-paying job, houses, and cars. Don’t let these things be the source of your happiness. While these things are important in your life, and it’s good to have them, you can possess them all and still lack peace. First, seek the peace of God in your heart, and everything else will be given to you by God.
One of the greatest reasons for your joy is that Jesus Christ has saved you. The salvation you have is the main reason for your happiness, which is why David said, "Then my soul will rejoice in the LORD and delight in His salvation."
When you reflect on your life, don’t just focus on the physical aspects; also consider the spiritual blessings God has given you. Ephesians 1:3 says, "Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ." There are many blessings God has given you that this world does not recognize, but they are valuable.
Your salvation is more precious than anything else, so you have every reason to rejoice and praise God for it. Today, instead of focusing on your problems and challenges, look at God's goodness in your life and thank Him for it.
Prayer: Lord, I thank You for the precious gift of Your salvation. Thank you for saving me and making me your child. Amen.

GOD WILL RESTORE TO YOU DOUBLE IF YOU DON'T GIVE UP
"Return to your fortress, you prisoners of hope; even now I announce that I will restore twice as much to you. Zechariah 9:12"
In your life, never give up on anything you are pursuing because if you believe and have hope, nothing is impossible when you rely on God. Don't focus on your current situation or the circumstances around you; instead, keep your eyes on God and trust in Him.
Abraham had faith and hope in God until he received what was promised to him, as it is written:
"Against all hope, Abraham in hope believed and so became the father of many nations, just as it had been said to him, 'So shall your offspring be.' Without weakening in his faith, he faced the fact that his body was as good as dead—since he was about a hundred years old—and that Sarah’s womb was also dead. Yet he did not waver through unbelief regarding the promise of God but was strengthened in his faith and gave glory to God, being fully persuaded that God had the power to do what he had promised. This is why it was credited to him as righteousness. Romans 4:18-22"
Therefore, when God says, "Return to your fortress, you prisoners of hope; even now I announce that I will restore twice as much to you," this is a call to all who still have steadfast faith in God and hope in their hearts that He will deliver them from all bonds of suffering.
So, it doesn’t matter what kind of bondage you are in—whether it’s sickness, poverty, or being tormented by sin or evil spirits from the enemy—God is saying that He will restore what you have lost. Remember, this restoration is for those who have not given up. Therefore, continue to trust in God; His time is now.
Prayer: Lord, I place my hope in You, and I ask You to restore everything I have lost and that which the enemy has stolen according to Your promise. Amen.

GOD'S ANGELS ARE AMONG US
"Do not forget to show hospitality to strangers, for by so doing some people have shown hospitality to angels without knowing it. Hebrews 13:2"
We see in the Bible that there were people who cried out to God when they were in trouble, and God sent His angels to save them and bring answers to their prayers. However, we often fail to recognize these angels when they come, which is why today's message says, "Do not forget to show hospitality to strangers, for by so doing, some people have shown hospitality to angels without knowing it."
Abraham received the promise of a child by showing hospitality to strangers who were God's angels.
Genesis 18:2-5 says, "Abraham looked up and saw three men standing nearby. When he saw them, he hurried from the entrance of his tent to meet them and bowed low to the ground. He said, ‘If I have found favour in your eyes, my lord, do not pass your servant by. Let a little water be brought, and then you may all wash your feet and rest under this tree. Let me get you something to eat, so you can be refreshed and then go on your way—now that you have come to your servant.’ ‘Very well,’ they answered, ‘do as you say.’"
After these guests ate the food that Abraham had prepared, they then gave him the answers to his prayers: "Where is your wife Sarah?" they asked him. "There, in the tent," he said. Then one of them said, "I will surely return to you about this time next year, and Sarah your wife will have a son." Now Sarah was listening at the entrance to the tent, which was behind him. Genesis 18:9-10."
So, an angel is a messenger and servant of God. Sometimes, the word "angel" is also used to refer to anyone sent by God to do a certain task on his behalf. Therefore, you should ask yourself, who is your angel? Who has been sent by God to bring the answers to your prayers? In 2 Kings 4:9-17, you’ll see that the Shunammite woman received a child in her old age because she showed hospitality to God's servant, the Prophet Elisha. So, Elisha was God's messenger to her, bringing the solution to her problems. She received those answers after showing kindness to this servant of God.
Prayer: Lord Jesus, enable me to be hospitable to Your servants whom You have sent to me so that I may receive the answers to my needs.

TO BE WISE IS TO LIVE A RIGHTEOUS LIFE
"Who is wise? Let them realize these things. Who is discerning? Let them understand. The ways of the LORD are right; the righteous walk in them, but the rebellious stumble in them." Hosea 14:9
We live in times where everyone claims to know God, and many people profess to be Christians and say they are saved, greeting others with Christian salutations like "Praise the Lord Jesus." However, the truth is that many who do so do not live lives that please God or act righteously.
That is why our message today says,
"The ways of the LORD are right; the righteous walk in them." If you are not living a righteous life, it means you are not righteous and are not walking in the ways of the LORD. You can deceive people by the words you speak, but God cannot be deceived. We have a large number of people who profess the LORD with their mouths, but their actions do not align with what they profess.
When the Word of God says, "Who is wise? Let them realize these things," it means you should understand that wisdom and understanding is living a righteous life and following the ways of the LORD. Because if you follow these ways, your life will be successful and peaceful.
So today, ask God to give you more wisdom to understand that every action that is not righteous is not beneficial to you. God's ways are the only ones that bring benefits. Therefore, may God help you to overcome all temptations that come from the enemy, trying to lead you away from God's ways to do what is not right.
Prayer: O LORD, I pray that you give me the wisdom to live a righteous life every day so that I may not be tempted to do what is wrong. Amen.

TRUTH IN LOVE
"But let us speak the truth in love and grow in all things unto Him who is the head, Christ. Ephesians 4:15"
You must ask God for wisdom and knowledge when speaking to someone who has made a mistake. I am very sure you have tried to correct someone before, but it seemed like you offended that person instead of helping. However, what you were saying was true and meant to help them.
In today's message, I will emphasize the part that says, "Let us speak the truth in love." Here, God is teaching us how we can build each other up. There is no other way to build one another except through love.
When He says, "Let us speak the truth in love," He means that when you tell someone the truth to correct them, you must do so with love, not by criticizing or judging them. The people you talk to must first feel loved by you and see your good intentions for them. If they don't see your love, even if what you are saying is true, they will feel like you are criticizing and discouraging them.
The Bible says that God's word is the truth. Also, when you talk to someone about God, to encourage them to stop doing wrong, you must use a language of love. Many people are not accepted by their societies or churches because of how they talk to others when they make mistakes.
Malachi 2:7 says, "For the lips of a priest ought to preserve knowledge, and people should seek instruction from his mouth; because he is the messenger of the LORD Almighty."
Galatians 6:1-3 says, "Brothers and sisters, if someone is caught in a sin, you who live by the Spirit should restore that person gently. But watch yourselves, or you also may be tempted. Carry each other's burdens, and in this way, you will fulfil the law of Christ. If anyone thinks they are something when they are not, they deceive themselves."
So, when you speak about Christ, don't judge or criticize people; don't be quarrelsome. Speak to people gently. Also, at your workplace and home, speak and correct people with love and gentleness. By doing so, people will change and be built up by the truth. Therefore, "let us speak the truth in love and grow in all things unto Him who is the head, Christ."
Prayer: O LORD, grant me a heart of love and wisdom. Use me to build people up in love. Let my words not discourage or break them, but let them be filled with love and edify. Amen.

Your Goodness is a Treasure
"And who is he who will harm you if you are eager to do good? 1 Peter 3:13"
When you live a righteous life, and you always do good to people, you will always be close to God because our acts of sin and evil are the ones that separate us from God. Once a person is separated from God, His glory and protection are also removed from him, and he becomes vulnerable to the attacks of the enemy.
When you do good to others, be sure and confident that God is watching over you and protects you from all attacks. Because you are doing what he commanded you to do. The Pharisees asked Jesus and said;
"“Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?” Jesus replied: “ ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”"
So when you love and do good to people, you are fulfilling God's commandment.
God, through His word, tells you to be eager to do good; Isaiah 1:16-17 says, "Wash and make yourselves clean. Take your evil deeds out of my sight; stop doing wrong. Learn to do right; seek justice. Defend the oppressed. Take up the cause of the fatherless; plead the case of the widow."
So, if you live a righteous life and do good, God is telling you today not to be afraid. He is with you to protect and save you from all harm. Even in your workplace, if you face threats for doing the right and just thing, do not be afraid; God will protect you. In your family and community, do not be afraid to stand up for justice and help others because you fear attacks from wicked people. The word says, "And who is he who will harm you if you are eager to do good?"
The last thing, Your goodness is a treasure. When you do good, you can not end up in shame and destruction, God will establish and protect you. The good deeds you do to people is a seed. You are planting a seed of blessing in your life, and this seed will benefit you and your descendants. Even if attacks and harm come your way, because of the good you have done, God will come to save and free you.
Prayer: Oh, LORD, help me live a life of doing good so that I and my descendants may be blessed. Amen

GOD IS FAITHFUL TO THOSE WHO ARE FAITHFUL TO HIM
"He fulfills the desires of those who fear him; he hears their cry and saves them." Psalm 145:19
Maybe you have asked God for something for a long time but haven't received an answer and have questioned why your prayers aren't answered.
Today's word says, "He fulfills the desires of those who fear him." Here, the first thing to know is that God is talking about people who fear Him. If you have been faithful to God in loving, obeying, and following what He says, know that God will be faithful to you as you are to Him. Whenever you ask, He will hear and answer you, as He said, "He hears their cry and saves them." Also, in Psalms 91:14, the word of God says “Because he loves me,” says the Lord, “I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name.
So, the important thing here is to ask yourself, "Am I a God-fearing person?" "Am I truly faithful to Him?" Many Christians complain that God does not answer their prayers, and maybe there is a prayer that God has not answered for you. There are many reasons why prayers are not answered, but today, we focus on the major reason for lacking faithfulness to God.
Some people have created their righteousness before God and feel they deserve to be heard and have their requests fulfilled for reasons they made up themselves, which is not right before God. You must be holly and follow His commandments for Him to fulfill your desires. John 9:31 says "Now we know that God heareth not sinners: but if any man be a worshipper of God, and doeth his will, him he heareth."
Some of you commit sins and consider what you do as a small matter that does not affect your relationship with God. You think what you did is not sin and can not hinder your prayers. You must know that every sin has significant effects on your life; do not think stealing, fornication, or lying are minor issues. Today, decide to change and fear God, and be faithful to God in everything He has commanded you because "He fulfills the desires of those who fear him; he hears their cry and saves them."
Prayer: Thank you, LORD, for your faithfulness to me, and help me to be faithful to you. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.

Do Not Be Ashamed to Pray to God
"Call on me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you will honour me." Psalm 50:15
Our God is a loving and merciful God who cares deeply about your heart and what you are going through. Therefore, whenever you are in any distress, do not hesitate to ask God. Don't feel rejected by God because you are in trouble because many people interpret their sufferings as a sign that God has left them.
Today's word is an invitation from God. God invites you to ask Him and call upon Him when you are in trouble. These are God's instructions because He loves you very much. Don't feel like you are praying to God against his will; always remember that God is calling you to come to Him so that He can help and free you from your bonds and sufferings.
In the book of Isaiah 45:22, God says, "Turn to me and be saved, all you ends of the earth; for I am God, and there is no other."
Here again, God is calling us to look to Him and ask for salvation. When He says, "Turn to me and be saved, all you ends of the earth;" He means that no matter how far you are from Him, God still tells you to call upon Him. So do not fear to go to God whenever you are in trouble. When you ask God, He is faithful, He hears you, and He will answer you.
Prayer: Thank you, LORD, for your love for me. Now I call upon you in every troubling situation in my life. I know that you hear me every time I ask. Amen.

May you be filled with peace and joy
"Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. Romans 15:13"
Joy and peace are the fruits of the Holy Spirit; this is my prayer for you for August and all the coming months, that God, by the power of the Holy Spirit, may grant you joy and peace.
Indeed, in this world, we go through many challenges, suffering, and difficulties. When we are in these situations, our hearts become burdened and sorrowful, but we thank God for His Holy Spirit who does not let us remain sorrowful forever, for He will turn your sorrow into joy and laughter.
We receive this joy and peace by faith when we believe in the power of the Holy Spirit, as our scripture says. When we believe in God and His power, that is when the Holy Spirit goes to work and changes every situation, which takes away our peace.
In this August, may the Lord, by the power of the Holy Spirit, answer all your prayers and break the chains of darkness tormenting you and your family as a whole. May God heal all diseases and grant you health; may your economic situation be uplifted and every need you have be answered by God. "Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit." AMEN.

GOD INTENDS GOOD FOR YOU
You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives. Genesis 50:20
Joseph is a person we know for the great things he did in the land of Egypt. However, Joseph's journey to becoming the Prime Minister of Egypt was not easy. Similarly, the hardships you are going through today are because there is something great that God has prepared for you.
The battles you face are the result of Satan's fight against you, but he uses people close to you to execute his agendas. You might be surrounded by wicked people who do not want to see any good thing happen to you, just as it was for Joseph, who was hated by his brothers for no reason. People who do not want to see you succeed and be above them, people who are unhappy when they see you blessed. These are the people who plan and do bad things to you. These people could be your relatives, friends, colleagues, or sometimes even fellow Christians.
I wish you knew every situation your enemies create to destroy your life is the very thing that God uses to lift you up. In every trial you go through, there is something to building you, or it is a door for you to move to another level in your life, just as it was for Joseph.
Even for Moses, on the river where Pharaoh was killing Hebrew children, it was the same river where Moses was thrown to die but Pharaoh's daughter saw him, picked him up, and Moses ended up in Pharaoh's palace being raised and nurtured royally.
Likewise, when you are going through tough times, maybe you have lost your job, or suffered a loss, or family and friends have abandoned you, that is the time when God is speaking to you and showing you what to do. And i assure you what will happen next in your life will be something that will take you to higher levels in your life. Where your enemies expect you to fall, there is when God will lift you up. Therefore, when they intend harm for you, that is when God turns that harm into good.
Prayer: Thank you, LORD, for thinking of me with thoughts of peace and turning the harm intended for me into good. Amen.

Humility is the Key to Receiving God’s Promises
"No one is respected unless he is humble; arrogant people are on the way to ruin. Proverbs 18:12 GNT"
The Word of God places great emphasis on the issue of humility because it is one of the most important criteria that can enable you to receive something from God. Moreover, being humble will bring you many benefits, such as the following:
1. Favour from God:
Humility is the criterion for receiving God's grace and favor. James 4:6 says, "God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble." This grace can manifest in various ways, including spiritual and economic growth, wisdom, and blessings.
2. Wisdom and Knowledge:
Proverbs 11:2 says, "When pride comes, then comes disgrace, but with humility comes wisdom." Wisdom brings you humility, and humility enables you to learn and receive knowledge from God and others.
3. Honor and Exaltation:
When you are humble, God will honor you. People may look down on you and mistreat you for a time, but God will lift you up and place you above them. As today’s scripture in Proverbs 18:12 says, "...before honor is humility."
4. Good Relationships and Peace:
Humility builds good relationships, peace, and unity, starting in marriage, family, at work, and within the community you live in. Ephesians 4:2-3 encourages us to be "completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love."
5. Humility enables you to do God’s will:
Humility helps you lower yourself and do what God wants you to do. In Philippians 2:5-9, Jesus, in His humility, accepted to relinquish His glory and do God’s will, and then He was highly exalted and greatly honored.
6. Spiritual Growth:
Humility is essential for spiritual growth. It causes a person to acknowledge their weaknesses and seek help and strength from God. Isaiah 57:15 shows that God dwells with the humble and revives them.
Humility is not just a moral issue but is the key that enables you to access God's presence, blessings, and a fulfilling life according to the promises God has made to humble people.
Prayer:
Lord Jesus, I ask that you grant me humility in my heart so that I may receive your blessings and live a life of peace and honor. Amen.

Rejoicing in God's Protection
But let all who take refuge in you rejoice; let them sing joyful praises forever. Spread your protection over them, that all who love your name may be filled with joy. Psalms 5:11 NLT
In this Psalm, David expresses the truth about the relationship between trust in God and the joy that springs from it. He paints a picture of those who take refuge in the Lord—those who choose to place their trust and hope in Him—being filled with a joy that overflows into songs of praise.
This joy is not fleeting; it is a deep and enduring joy that is not dependent on circumstances but rooted in the unchanging love of God. When we trust God as our refuge, we are not only protected from harm but also given a reason to rejoice continually. It is in God's presence and under His protective care that we find true security and lasting happiness.
David's prayer that God would "spread [His] protection" over those who trust in Him reminds us that God is like a shield around us, covering us with His love and grace. This divine protection is both a comfort and a cause for celebration. It reassures us that no matter what challenges or dangers we face, we are safe in the hands of the Almighty.
Today, reflect on where you seek refuge in times of trouble. Do you turn to God as your first and ultimate source of protection and peace? When you do, know that God not only shields you but also fills your heart with joy.
Let your trust in God's protection lead you to a place of deep, abiding joy. Make it a habit to "sing for joy" as you reflect on God's faithfulness in your life. Let your love for God’s name—His character, His promises, His nature—draw you into a posture of worship and celebration.
In every circumstance, whether in times of peace or trial, allow your heart to exult in the Lord, knowing that His protection is over you and His joy is within you.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank You for being my refuge and my strength. When I face challenges and dangers, help me to turn to You, trusting in Your protection. Amen.

THE NIGHT IS FAR SPENT, LET US PUT ON THE ARMOR OF LIGHT
"The night is nearly over; the day is almost here. So let us put aside the deeds of darkness and put on the armor of light." Romans 13:12
We are living in perilous times, and the world is watching us who already know God so that through our example, they too might come to know God and be saved from darkness into light.
When the scripture says, "The night is nearly over," it refers to these times when the world is filled with wickedness, with people committing sins and engaging in terrifying acts of evil everywhere—this is the "night" being spoken of. So, the world has been in this darkness for a long time, and "the day is almost here," meaning the end is near, the day when God will eradicate all darkness, and light will reign forever. Hallelujah!
Therefore, we need to be vigilant and examine how we are living because God is counting on us to shine His light on those in darkness. But you must also be aware that you are in a battle. That's why today you are being told to "put aside the deeds of darkness and put on the armor of light."
It is important to know that the Book of Romans was not written for pagans or people who do not know God. It was written "to all in Rome who are loved by God and called to be His holy people." (Romans 1:7). Therefore, when the Word says, "So let us put aside the deeds of darkness and put on the armor of light," this message is for you and me who are already saved and have been called by God to be holy.
The time we have is short, child of God. Wherever you are, reflect deeply on your life. If there are still deeds of darkness you are engaged in, abandon them immediately, repent, and put on the armor of God because you are in a battle, and this battle is between darkness and light.
Worldly governments are exerting great effort to promote wickedness, even changing laws to legitimize sins and abominations. All forms of entertainment and art are filled with wickedness, sins and satanism; music glorifies sin and evil, and it is disheartening that even the saints of God participate in these things, cheering and celebrating people who do this thing. Today, God is telling you, "The night is nearly over; the day is almost here. So let us put aside the deeds of darkness and put on the armor of light."
Prayer: Lord Jesus, grant me the grace to stand firm in these perilous times; may I never be lost in the darkness. I also pray that You protect my children. Amen.

DON'T LET YOUR MARRIAGE MAKE YOU LIVE A BITTER LIFE
"Husbands, love your wives and do not be harsh with them. Colossians 3:19"
This verse is written in the Bible because God understands the challenges that exist in marriage. No marriage is perfect because each one of us has our own weaknesses, but when couples decide to live with love, that love makes your marriage perfect.
Although the verse says, "Husbands, love your wives and do not be harsh with them," today I will discuss the issue of bitterness caused by problems in marriage, and I will address both men and women.
Bitterness has a powerful ability not only to destroy your marriage but your life entirely. When you hold onto your partner's mistakes in your heart, it creates a bitterness that affects every area of your life. First and foremost, bitterness separates you from God, causes you to lose favour with people, hinders you from making wise decisions and Ultimately, bitterness causes the death of everything good in your life, leaving you with nothing but loss.
You can not overcome the challenges of marriage through your intellect and strength. If you try, you'll find your heart filled and weighed down with bitterness. But when you humble yourself before God and seek His help, you'll see every difficult situation become easier.
The key to peace in marriage is humility—humility before God and humility towards your partner. This means not justifying everything you do, being willing to forgive, bearing your partner's burdens, accepting correction, being patient, and relying on God as the leader and overseer of your marriage.
The following will help you overcome bitterness and bring peace to your marriage:
● Wisdom: This will guide you in how to live with your partner and how to interpret and respond to everything they say and do.
● Patience and Hope: The only way you can endure marriage problems is by believing and hoping that one day God will change everything.
● Love: Choose to love your partner as she/he is, knowing that some things about him/her may never change.
● Prayer: It is the way you can destroy all the attacks of the enemy aimed at ruining your marriage.
Prayer: Jesus, I ask for the spirit of patience and love. Today, I choose to live a life of joy and peace, and I pray that You grant my marriage peace at all times. Amen.

LET GO OF THE PAST SO THAT GOD CAN DO SOMETHING NEW
"See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland. Isaiah 43:19"
When God does something, it can not fail, but you must allow Him to do it. God does not forcefully do things for his people. Our God is very gentle. Perhaps there are things you deeply desire God to do in your life. Because you know he has the power and ability to do them, but if they haven’t happened yet, you must ask yourself why. Without a doubt, the obstacle might be on your end. Because God always desires to do good, great, and marvellous things for His children.
This passage begins by saying, "This is what the LORD says— he who made a way through the sea, a path through the mighty waters; Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. Isaiah 43:16,18" Then it continues, "See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland."
When He says, "Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past," this is the condition for allowing God to do something new. When you hold on to the past and dwell on it, it becomes a barrier that prevents God from beginning a new work in your life.
There is something very important I want you to understand here: God has never failed to do anything; nothing is too hard for Him. The problem is that sometimes we think we have allowed God to do something, but in reality, we haven’t. So, God hasn’t even begun to deal with that thing because you are still holding on to the past. God has not failed; it’s you who haven’t allowed Him to act.
Today, reflect on your life with a new perspective. What things are you still holding on to that are preventing God from doing something new? Are there people you haven’t forgiven who have become a barrier to your success or in your marriage? Or are you satisfied with what you have now? Your satisfaction may stop God from doing something new for you.
Prayer: I let go of the past, and I confess the blood of Jesus upon my heart to cleanse me and remove all the barriers that prevent God from doing something new in my life. Amen.

ONLY GOD CAN MAKE YOU RICH AND GIVE YOU PEACE
"The blessing of the LORD brings wealth, without painful toil for it. Proverbs 10:22"
This is a question that each one of us has asked or is asking, "What should I do to be successful?" There are many ways you can use to obtain wealth. There are seminars, various teachings, and books that have been written to guide you on how to succeed and become rich.
Some of these teachings and methods indeed yield results. Because you can acquire wealth outside of God and be successful and prosperous; Psalm 92:7 says, "Though the wicked spring up like grass and all evildoers flourish, they will be destroyed forever." Also, Psalm 37:7 says, "Be still before the LORD and wait patiently for him; do not fret when people succeed in their ways when they carry out their wicked schemes"
So, it's entirely clear that you can be successful without following God's ways. You can become wealthy using wicked means. But I want you to ask yourself, and I also ask you, can you bear the cost? Because Satan or human beings can give you what you want, but the price of that success is very high.
Only God can give you something for free that will not trouble you. Right now, we see on TV and social media celebrities and famous people who are very wealthy, and we know very well their riches didn’t come from God. They deceive a lot of people that their lives are full of joy and that they enjoy their wealth and success. But it's not true. Those people you see on your mobile screen who are famous and others are very rich but do not live a holy life and do what pleases God, their private lives are full of trouble, and they have no peace at all.
God has said twice in the Bible, in Isaiah 48:22, ' There is no peace,' says the LORD, 'for the wicked.' And in Isaiah 57:21, "There is no peace," says my God, "for the wicked." When God repeats something twice, it means that the word is sure and certain.
My advice to you is, don't follow their ways, continue to rely on God, and if you had stopped relying on Him, restore your trust in Him because, "The blessing of the LORD brings wealth, without painful toil for it."
Prayer: Oh LORD, I pray that You bless me because, if You bless me, I will be successful and have a life full of joy and peace. Amen.

GOD WILL NEVER FORSAKEN YOU
"For the LORD will not reject his people; he will never forsake his inheritance." Psalm 94:14
Our God is not like a man. God loves you as you are; He loves you because you are His child. A parent does not love their child because there is some benefit they get from the child. A parent loves their child because they gave birth to them, and the child comes from them.
You, too, on this day, think of God differently. The Word says, "For the LORD will not reject his people," if you truly know that you belong to God, you believe Him and depend on Him, be assured that God has not forsaken you and will not forsake you at any time. The Word of God says,
"But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name: who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. John 1:12-13
If you believe in Jesus Christ, then you have become a child of God. Therefore, you should not fear that there will be a time when God is not with you. No matter your circumstances, even if you have your weaknesses, when you have the true intention to obey and love God your Father, even when you fail, His grace is still upon you to help you return to Him. So when you wrong God, do not condemn or reject yourself; surrender yourself to God with humility. God does not hate you; God loves you.
When you go through trials and hard times in your life, and nothing seems to be going as you want, there are times when thoughts and the voices of your enemies shout within you, just as it was with David. Psalm 71:10-11 says, "For my enemies speak against me; those who wait to kill me conspire together. They say, ‘God has forsaken him; pursue him and seize him, for no one will rescue him.'" Your enemies always say this to discourage you, but you should have firm faith in yourself. Trust in God because He is faithful and can not abandon His people.
"But now, this is what the Lord says— he who created you, Jacob, he who formed you, Israel: “Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze. Isaiah 43:1-2"
Prayer: Oh, LORD, I thank you for your faithfulness. I know you are with me at all times. Grant me the grace to continue to believe in you and follow you. May I never forsake you because you have not forsaken me.

TRUE JOY IS FOUND IN GOD
"Rejoice the soul of thy servant: for unto thee, O Lord, do I lift up my soul. Psalm 86:4"
When you go through various challenges and difficulties in your life, they can cause you to lose peace and joy, making you a person of sorrow and grief. Sometimes, it is the devil himself who causes you problems that take away your joy.
Everyone has the right to be happy and to have peace, but the main question is, where do you find that happiness? Because the devil's primary goal is to destroy your life and make you live in suffering, the devil cannot give you happiness.
Now, the Psalmist reached a point where he realized that he could only find peace in God. There are many things in this world that can bring you temporary joy, but that joy does not last. But when God comforts you, He is the only one who can give you true peace.
When he says, "Bring joy to your servant's soul, for I lift up my soul to you, Lord," it means that he realized that he couldn't bring himself joy, nor could anything else bring him happiness, so he lifted up his soul to God.
And you, too, if you have this humility and rely on God with all your heart, God, in His faithfulness, will heal your life and remove whatever is troubling you and give you true peace.
When you are in any difficult situation or when something is weighing heavily on your heart, do not hesitate to pray to God. Open your heart in prayer and tell God the truth. In Psalm 86:6-7, he said, "Listen to my prayer, Lord; hear my cries for mercy. When I am in distress, I call to you, because you answer me."
So lift your soul to God and surrender yourself to Him; He is faithful and will help and save you. He will make you live a life of happiness and peace all the time.
Prayer: Oh Lord, I lift my soul to you and lay down all the burdens weighing on my heart. I ask you to fight for me and give me your peace. Amen.

HOW TO GET ANSWERS TO YOUR PRAYERS
"If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you." John 15:7
Everyone desires to see God answering their prayers. We pray every day, but not everything we pray for is answered by God. Even for you, you have probably asked God for things that He hasn't answered yet.
The absence of God in your heart is one of the reasons why your prayers are not answered. This scripture shows us God's promise to answer our prayers, but God has set conditions. The condition is "If you remain in me and my words remain in you" then "ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you."
God cannot do something that goes against His Word. That’s why He says, "If you remain in Him and His words remain in you", the Word of God will equip you with understanding and guidance to pray according to His will. James 4:3 says, "When you ask, you do not receive because you ask with wrong motives, that you may spend what you get on your pleasures."
Also, when He says "If you remain in me," it is very important to always stay in Christ because in Him is the inheritance of the riches and glory of God. Romans 8:17 says, "Now if we are children, then we are heirs—heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ." So whatever God gives you, it is because of Christ who lives in you. The things you receive from God belong to Christ; you qualify to have them because you are co-heirs with Christ.
Therefore, it is very important to keep praying to God and depending on Him, but know that there are principles and laws He has set to govern his kingdom. If you follow them, your prayers will be answered. Also, remember every prayer you pray and request you make must be supported by scripture.
Prayer: Lord Jesus, I ask you to hold my hand so I may not be far from you. Help me to keep your word in my heart so that my prayers may find favour with you. Amen.

How to shine your light
"Nations will come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your dawn." Isaiah 60:3
God has placed those who believe in Him as light in this world, which is full of darkness. Being light means that wherever you are, you are the solution to the problems that trouble people.
Being light does not mean you are better than others and should place yourself above them or show off that you are superior and they are worthless. No! Being light means being a person who helps and solves others' problems.
Know that God has invested many things in you through His Word and His seven spirits within you. Isaiah 11:2-5 says,
"The Spirit of the LORD will rest on him—the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of counsel and might, the Spirit of knowledge and fear of the LORD—and he will delight in the fear of the LORD. He will not judge by what he sees with his eyes, or decide by what he hears with his ears; but with righteousness he will judge the needy, with justice he will give decisions for the poor of the earth. He will strike the earth with the rod of his mouth; with the breath of his lips, he will slay the wicked. Righteousness will be his belt and faithfulness the sash around his waist."
This was a prophetic description of the seven Spirits of God who were in Christ Jesus, which are in you now because Christ is in you. So be confident that you have the wisdom to help those who need advice and guidance. You also have divine understanding and knowledge.
Today's verse says "Nations will come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your dawn." When someone comes to you for advice, talk to them and tell them the right thing to do. It doesn't matter their status. The Word of God says even Kings will come to you, So when you are asked for opinion or advice by your boss or your leader, don't fear and say, "I don't know" Speak what you know is right and express the wisdom of God in you. Teach people to stop doing wrong and to do good; warn and correct those who err, telling them the truth so they can turn from their wicked ways and be saved.
Most importantly, live a holy life so you can be a true example to all people. Act justly and show love to everyone. That is what it means to be light.
Prayer: Oh, LORD, you have made me light in this world. I ask you to guide me on how to shine your light so that those in darkness may be saved through me. Amen.

How to be filled with the power of the Holy Spirit
"Turn at my rebuke; Surely I will pour out my spirit on you; I will make my words known to you." Proverbs 1:23
Many people desire to be filled with the power of the Holy Spirit and to walk in God's presence all the time. If you are one of them, then God says turn and follow His instructions. The Holy Spirit is truly holy and does not dwell in an unclean place. This uncleanness refers to behaviours and conduct that do not please God.
For you to have the presence of the Holy Spirit with you, you must obey what God says. You must be obedient to God's instructions from the simplest one to the complex one. If he says don't do something, don't do it, and sometimes these might be very simple instructions, once you learn to obey what God tells you, then His Holy Spirit will come and rest on you, and he will be your companion in whatever you do.
God wants and greatly desires to fill you with His Holy Spirit. That is why today, He says to you to turn away from behaviours and conduct that do not please Him.
You may also be someone who greatly desires to know the Word of God, and truly, this is the desire of every person who believes in God: to have God's power and to know His Word.
Today, God says to listen to His rebuke and His instructions. If you listen to God and do what He wants, then you will be filled with the power of the Holy Spirit, and you will know His Word well.
Prayer: Oh, LORD, I ask that you grant me the ability to hear your instructions and obey them so that I may experience your presence in my life and know your Word well.

The Power of God's Word
Every word of God is flawless; He is a shield to those who take refuge in Him. Proverbs 30:5
If you are one of the people who face difficulties and opposition when reading and studying the Word of God, today I want you to know it is because Satan knows the great power that is in the Word of God. Therefore, he uses a lot of effort to ensure you do not have time and focus to read the word of God.
Satan uses various agents to distort the truth of God's word. We are living in times where the authority of God's word written in the Bible is being heavily criticised and questioned. People are questioning the validity of the Scriptures to guide their lives. The Word of God is law; the bible does not give out suggestions or advice; what is written in the Bible must be followed. If you do not follow i, you will surely perish.
Now, child of God, our word today says, "Every word of God is flawless;" this means the word of God is perfect and true. The things God has spoken to us come from His heart; God always means what he says. Every promise God has given you is true and will come to pass. Satan uses a lot of effort to mislead God's people, not to take God's word seriously.
The word continues to say, "He is a shield to those who take refuge in Him," it means God will be your protector if you believe in Him, and believing in God means believing in His word. Hebrews 4:12 says, "For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart." This verse brings to light the power and ability of the word of God. There is nothing the word of God can not do.
Today, ask God to give you the grace to study His word, then hold on to it and believe it; you will see God's power fighting for you and defending you in your life.
Prayer: Oh, LORD, I ask you to grant me grace to diligently study and believe in your word. Amen

God is welcoming you to his rest
"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest." Matthew 11:28
Are you wondering if God will accept you after all the mistakes and sins you have committed? Don't worry; His word assures you that, indeed, God wants you back and will be with you always. Jesus Christ, the Saviour always welcomes you into His presence, regardless of how you feel or the mistakes you have made.
Unfortunately, feelings of shame, fear, and failure can prevent you from realizing this, as these are among the reasons Satan tempts you to sin. Satan knows that if he can convince you to rebel against the Lord, you will feel so guilty that you will avoid His presence entirely.
Isaiah 59:1-2 says, "Surely the arm of the Lord is not too short to save, nor his ear too dull to hear. But your iniquities have separated you from your God; your sins have hidden his face from you so that he will not hear." The main function of sin is to separate you from God. We all know that God hates sin, and it is true He truly hates sin, but our God is merciful. Even though we anger Him with our actions, He still has mercy on us and welcomes us back to Him.
What sin does to you is to destroy your confidence, creating guilt and shame before God. The more the enemy can make you see your guilt, shame, and imperfection, the easier it is for him to keep you from approaching God, Because the enemy knows God is the only one who can erase and remove your sin and shame.
Even today, God is still calling you to come to Him for healing. Do not avoid Him for any reason. Instead, approach Him with humility and a repentant heart. Ask Him for forgiveness, forsake your sins, and accept His grace. His loving arms are waiting to receive, cleanse, and restore you to Himself.
Prayer: Jesus, thank you for welcoming me into Your presence and forgiving my sins. I am very grateful for Your grace and love. Amen.
