YOU NEED JUST ONE THING

"For she said within herself, If I may but touch his garment, I shall be whole." - Matthew 9:21 (KJV)

During a Gospel revival in southern Africa, a man attended an evangelistic meeting for the first time. He had never heard of Jesus or read the Bible—this was his first encounter with these teachings. As the preacher spoke about salvation, he repeatedly quoted John 3:16: "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."

These words touched him deeply. He believed the message of the Gospel and accepted Jesus as the Lord and Saviour of his life. As the meeting continued, the preacher prayed for the people, and remarkable miracles happened—the sick were healed, the blind received their sight, and the lame walked. Then, the preacher announced that those who accepted Christ could perform similar miracles in His name. And this new believer believed.

In those days, when someone got saved, they were given a Bible and encouraged to go out the very next day to share Jesus with others. This man followed that path with faith, even though he knew only one verse: John 3:16. With unwavering belief, he travelled to nearby villages, preaching the Gospel and praying for the sick. At one of his small gatherings, a crippled person was brought to him. Remembering the preacher's words, he prayed with the only verse he knew by heart. To everyone's amazement, the crippled person stood up and walked.

Just like the woman in Matthew 9:21 who said, "If I only touch the hem of his garment, I will be healed," this man found that one truth he needed to believe in. He held onto John 3:16 as the cornerstone of his faith, and God worked wonders through him. Over time, his ministry grew, and he touched countless lives. He was later ordained as a bishop.

You don’t need to touch Jesus everywhere to receive healing; you don’t need to know the whole Bible to perform miracles. To God, your faith and the steadfastness of your heart are more important than anything else.

So, what’s one thing about God that you believe deeply? Among everything you know, choose one promise, one verse, one truth, and hold onto it with all your heart. When you do, you’ll see amazing changes in your life. You don’t need everything you think you do. Just believe in that one word God has spoken to you, and you will see amazing things.

Prayer: Lord Jesus, grant me the spirit of faith and steadfastness. Help me to hold onto that one promise, that one word you’ve spoken over my life, and trust that it’s enough. Amen.

FINDING BLESSINGS THROUGH FAMILY RESPONSIBILITIES

"But if anyone does not provide for his own, and especially for those of his household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever." (1 Timothy 5:8 NKJV)

One day, I was watching a sermon on television, and the Pastor was teaching about family curses, specifically focusing on the curse of poverty. He explained how decisions made by parents can cause curses for themselves and future generations. After the lesson, he organized a special day of prayer for families, asking the congregants to come with their relatives. During the prayer, he would pray for families to break curses and declare blessings.

On the following program, A young lady had brought her father from their village, hoping to break the curse of poverty that had plagued their family. She explained to the Pastor how she had been struggling in the city, working hard but unable to achieve her goals, and believed it was due to a curse. The preacher asked her to call her father forward.

When the father stood before him, the Pastor pointed out a visible contrast. The young lady was well-dressed and she had a smartphone, while her father was wearing dirty, oversized clothes. The preacher said, “If I pray for you and bless you, it won’t help you. Look at yourself, and look at your father.” He explained that the real issue wasn’t a curse but her neglect of her father, who had sacrificed to send her to school.

The Pastor told her, “There is no curse greater than this. With the little you’ve earned, you could have at least bought your father some decent clothes." The father began to cry. The preacher added that there are blessings he cannot give, as they come from honoring and caring for one’s parents.

The Bible teaches that failing to provide for one’s family is a serious offence, worse than unbelief. I shared this story with you because I believe true blessings come when you honor and care for your parents, spouse, and children. To receive God's blessings, we must take care of our families. It’s not enough to give offerings or care for church leaders while neglecting your own household.

Prayer: Lord Jesus, help me be responsible for my family so that I may receive Your blessings. Amen.

INVEST IN THE KINGDOM OF GOD

"So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal." — 2 Corinthians 4:18 (NIV)

Living with purpose means setting both short-term and long-term goals, but these should always be guided by God's wisdom. Your presence on earth is part of God's divine plan, and true fulfillment comes when your goals align with His eternal purpose.

As the Bible reminds us, "What is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal." God’s plans for you go beyond this life. He wants you to enjoy your time on earth, but also to invest in eternity by focusing on spiritual things that last forever. Jesus said:

"Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moths and vermin destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also." — Matthew 6:19-21 (NIV)

So, How do you Invest in the Kingdom of God?

Investing in the Kingdom of God means focusing on spiritual growth and aligning your life with God's purpose. Start by building a daily prayer habit and serving others through acts of kindness, which reflect God’s love. Studying the Bible regularly will help you gain wisdom to live according to His will.

You can also invest by supporting God’s work financially, giving to the poor, and living out your faith with integrity and love in daily life. These actions reflect your commitment to God and have eternal value.

As you work toward personal success, don’t forget the importance of spiritual investment. The things of this world will pass, but the Kingdom of God is eternal.

Prayer: Lord Jesus, help me to focus on what is eternal. May I never forget that the things of this world are temporary, but You are forever. Amen.

HAVE YOU GIVEN UP ON HELPING OTHERS?

"But you, brothers and sisters, never become tired of doing good." 2 Thessalonians 3:13 (NCV)

Without a doubt, you who are reading this message have helped someone before and have done acts of kindness to many people. As you were doing so, you've encountered challenges, which is why this scripture says, "Do not grow weary in doing good." It’s true that sometimes the very people you help may hurt you, leaving you feeling discouraged to the point of saying, "I will never help anyone again."

I, too, went through this challenge, but I did not give up. Instead, I prayed to God to show me what to do. In my prayers, God gave me the grace to understand that I had not sought His guidance before helping people. He taught me that not everyone who needs help is someone you should assist. Child of God, you should not be driven by emotions, but by wisdom and God's guidance. This is because some people know how to manipulate others to appear needy when they are scammers and thieves. After learning this, I was tested by this incident:

"One day, I went to repair my broken phone. While I was waiting at the technician's office, I decided to sit outside to get some fresh air. As I sat there, a disabled man approached, begging for money. He had one leg and walked with crutches. When I saw him, I felt pity, but I remembered I needed to ask God first before helping anyone. When I asked God whether to help him or not, I did not feel peace about helping him. So, when he reached me, I shook my head and told him I had no money. But my heart ached because he was truly a disabled man. He moved to the next shop, but someone from that shop cursed him loudly, and I was shocked! The disabled man cursed back with vile insults, then began running on his crutches while still swearing and cursing. The person from the shop came out and shouted, "We’ll cut off your remaining leg! You’re a big thief!" It turned out that the disabled man was a thief, scouting shops for his gang of robbers. People in the area knew who he was."

You see! Without asking God, you may help people who do not deserve it, and your kindness will go to waste. When you later find out the truth, you become disheartened and may lose the will to help others. So, always ask God and use your judgment to discern if the person truly deserves your help.

Prayer: Lord Jesus, I ask that You guide me and show me the right people to do good for so I may not get tired of doing good.

GOD'S JUDGMENT ON PRIDE AND ARROGANT PEOPLE

"It is God who judges: He brings one down, he exalts another." Psalm 75:7 NIV

One of the greatest sins before God is pride and arrogance. This is because a proud and arrogant person can not humble themselves to receive God's mercy and blessings. 1 Peter 5:5 says, "God opposes the proud but shows favour to the humble." Therefore, pride makes God your enemy and your opposer.

Now, we have arrogant people in our society, people who have no fear of God; they are full of pride and are committing great sins and evils without any shame. Some are very cruel, lacking a sense of humanity. They don't value anyone but themselves.

What's surprising is that these people are successful, wealthy, and rich. Some worship idols and practice satanism. They make sacrifices to Satan, and sometimes, they sacrifice their fellow human beings. They steal, rob, and kill to remain rich. They can do anything to remain rich and powerful. This situation has confused many young people who want quick success, leading them to do such things.

This issue troubled David greatly, and he described it well as follows:

"For I envied the arrogant when I saw the prosperity of the wicked. They have no struggles; their bodies are healthy and strong. They are free from common human burdens; they are not plagued by human ills. Therefore, pride is their necklace; they clothe themselves with violence. They scoff and speak with malice; with arrogance, they threaten oppression. They say, 'How would God know? Does the Most High know anything?' This is what the wicked are like—always free of care, they go on amassing wealth." Psalm 73:3-9, 11-12 NIV

Then he continued to say:

"When I tried to understand all this, it troubled me deeply till I entered the sanctuary of God; then I understood their final destiny. Surely you place them on slippery ground; you cast them down to ruin. How suddenly are they destroyed, completely swept away by terrors!" Psalm 73:16-19 NIV

God is the one who rules this world. Live a life that pleases Him, and you will succeed, along with your descendants. Do not seek wealth by evil means.

Prayer: Oh Lord, grant me humility and obedience to You so that I may succeed and receive your blessings in my life. Amen.

HUMILITY, THE RIGHT WAY TO ACHIEVE SUCCESS

"Humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you at the proper time." 1 Peter 5:6

Life is full of challenges, many of which we can avoid if we take careful precautions. For example, you can avoid debt if you decide to live within your means. In Proverbs 22:7, we learn that “The borrower is a slave to the lender.” Therefore, by avoiding debt, you will have financial freedom that will enable you to plan and invest for your future.

The principle of humility is what enables you to be faithful in your work and manage the money and property entrusted to you. Luke 16:10-12 shows us that God elevates and blesses a faithful person. If you want expensive things and you make unnecessary expenditures that cost you more than what you earn, you will be tempted to steal and lie to get more money. Humility is accepting what you can afford and what you can't.

Today, I am telling you that everything has its time; there are things in your life whose time has not yet come. May God grant you the wisdom to continue being humble before Him. Your time to own an expensive phone or car or to live in a luxurious house will come. The Word of God says:

"To everything there is a season,
And a time for, every purpose under heaven." Ecclesiastes 3:1


When you refuse to be humble, the spirit of greed, competition, and pride will possess you, and the Word of God says; "Pride goes before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall." Proverbs 16:18

The end of arrogance and pride is a destructive fall and shame, but humility will bring you honour and success.

But there is a way to avoid this destruction: we must humble ourselves before God. James 4:10 teaches us, "Humble yourselves before the Lord, and He will lift you up." Humility here means living by depending on God for everything. It is acknowledging His greatness, His wisdom, and His authority over our lives, and then following everything He has said.

Prayer: Jesus, I humble myself before You. You are the King of Kings. You are sovereign, above all, and worthy of my worship. Amen.

The Holy Spirit, Our Comforter and Helper

"And I will pray to the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever." (John 14:16 NKJV)

Loneliness strikes almost everyone at some point. A person may be very popular or economically successful but still live a life of loneliness. They may feel that no one truly loves or values them, even though they are surrounded by many people who are there because they want money from them.

In this verse, the word "helper" also means "Comforter," so you should understand that God has given us His Holy Spirit to address the deep loneliness that troubles our hearts. The Holy Spirit provides us with God's permanent presence in our lives, a guarantee of His close friendship and constant help.

No matter what trial you are going through, the Helper is there to strengthen you, comfort you, and empower you. God has not left you without hope. In Matthew 28:20, He says, "And behold, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." Therefore, God is with you until the end of time through the Holy Spirit, who is our Helper and Comforter.

If you feel lonely, know that God understands the pain you are going through, which is caused by your broken plans and shattered dreams. Your problems may also stem from being let down by people you love and trust, but they have betrayed you.

The Holy Spirit is not only a Comforter; He is also the one who heals your wounds and binds up your broken heart. When you try to handle these wounds physically, you may fall into greater problems like addiction, immorality, or confiding in someone who may secretly be your enemy, only to gossip about you.

Therefore, seek the friendship, help, and comfort of God's Holy Spirit. He is your best friend – the One who will never leave you nor forsake you all the days of your life.

Prayer: Jesus, thank You for always being with me through Your Holy Spirit. Help me to always rely on Him. Amen.

SIN IS SIN

"Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; Who put darkness for light, and light for darkness; Who put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!"
Isaiah 5:20 (NKJV)


Today, our world is filled with every kind of distortion, where sins are justified and legalized, and people turn God's truth into lies. 2 Timothy 4:3-4 says:
"For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables."

Right now, some of God's servants are perverting the true teachings of the Gospel because their minds are corrupted. They take sin and teach it as something acceptable, twisting the truth of God's Word to fit human desires. They preach false doctrines to justify sin or to gain popularity.

You must study God's Word yourself so you can understand what God has said and follow it. In any situation, sin remains sin. Throughout the ages, God has not changed His stance on what is right or wrong.

It is easy to be tempted to follow fleshly desires and then try to justify sin with excuses like, "This is normal in today's world," but in God's eyes, sin remains sin. Galatians 5:16-17 teaches us:
"I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh. For the flesh lusts against the Spirit and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another so that you do not do the things that you wish."

What you need to do is ask God for help in controlling fleshly desires and surrendering to the Holy Spirit every day so that your life becomes a true testimony of righteousness and holiness Sin can not be justified because doing so is stepping away from God's path and living a life of sin.

Prayer: Oh Lord, I ask You to grant me the grace to live a life of righteousness and holiness. Save me from every form of temptation and influence of sin. Amen.

Praise God in All Circumstances

"I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth." Psalm 34:1 (NKJV)

Praising God at all times is like acknowledging His presence and power in every moment of life. Whether in joy or sorrow, in success or struggle, praise keeps us connected to Him. It's easy to offer praise when everything is going well, but true faith shines when we can still thank God in difficult times.

From today's Word, the phrase "at all times" means that God’s praises should be in our mouths even during trials. David wrote this psalm after going through difficult times, yet he still chose to praise God. This teaches us that praise and worship should not be seasonal but constant, just as the Bible says in 1 Thessalonians 5:18: "In everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you."

The Bible shows that the mouth holds great power to create or destroy, as written in Proverbs 18:21: "Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruit."

Your mouth should be filled with words of hope and positivity, especially when facing difficult times. Because in Romans 10:10 says: "For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth, confession is made unto salvation."

If you are going through hardship, make sure your mouth is filled with God’s praise as Ephesians 5:19-20 says:
"Speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord, giving thanks always for all things to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ."

The Bible teaches us that even in dark times, a person who trusts in God will use their mouth to offer praise and thanksgiving. This fills you with spiritual strength and hope because a mouth filled with praise invites God's presence into difficult situations. Psalm 22:3 says that God "inhabits the praises of His people," meaning that when we continue to praise Him, God reveals Himself in His power and provides the help we need.

In every season, praise is a way to honour God and invite His presence into our lives. So, let your heart always be filled with praise, for in doing so, you will find strength, peace, and a deeper connection to God.

Prayer: Oh Lord, I ask You through the power of Your Holy Spirit to enable me to praise and worship You at all times so that Your presence and power may accompany me. Amen.

GOD HAS HEARD YOUR PRAYERS

"I praise God because he did not reject my prayer or keep back his constant love from me. Psalm 66:20 GNT"

This verse expresses gratitude to God for hearing our prayers. It reminds us that God never turns His back on us when we pray sincerely. His grace and love are not given to us conditionally but through His everlasting love. The psalmist shows that God did not refuse to listen but instead heard and blessed him with His goodness.

There are times in life when you feel like God hasn’t heard or answered your prayers. This can bring sadness, doubt, or even hopelessness. But Psalm 66:20 provides us great comfort by showing that God is not quick to ignore our prayers. Remember, God is faithful and true.

God sees and understands all your needs, and He cares deeply for you. Even if you don’t see immediate changes, God is working behind the scenes, preparing a way for you to overcome your challenges. God knows the best time to provide an answer, and even when the answers are not what we expected, God will always give us what is best for our lives.

Therefore, continue to pray with faith and patience. Don’t give up because God has heard you, and your answers are on the way. His grace is with you every day, even during tough times. In His perfect timing, God will respond in a way that meets your spiritual and physical needs. Place ykindnessour hope in Him, and you will see His at work in your life.

Prayer: I thank you, God, for your faithfulness, and I ask for diligence and patience in my prayers. I know you will answer me in your time.

How to Deal with Unfaithfulness and Betrayal in Marriage and Relationships

"For jealousy enrages the [wronged] husband; He will not spare [the guilty one] on the day of vengeance. Proverbs 6:34 AMP"

One area where many have fallen victim to revenge is in marriage and relationships. Have you ever been betrayed by someone you love? Or have you betrayed someone who loved you? Adultery leads to betrayal, and this betrayal causes wounds that push people to make difficult decisions, including seeking revenge.

The Word says: "A man who commits adultery lacks judgment; whoever does so destroys himself. He will suffer wounds and disgrace, and his shame will never be wiped away." Proverbs 6:32-33 (NIV) The wounds and disgrace from adultery are what destroy a person's soul. On the other hand, for the one who has been betrayed by adultery, the Word says: " For jealousy enrages the [wronged] husband; He will not spare [the guilty one] on the day of vengeance. He will not accept any ransom [offered to buy him off from demanding full punishment]; Nor will he be satisfied though you offer him many gifts (bribes). Proverbs 6:34-35 AMP"

Here, the Bible describes the reality of betrayal in marriage. Its consequences are severe, and only God's grace can change this situation. Without God's grace, it’s hard to forgive and let go of the person who betrayed you. And if you are the one who betrayed, know that it’s only God's grace that will lead to forgiveness, not your gifts or anything you might do.

Today, I pray for the grace to forgive and let go if you are the person described in this bible verse.

The key to handling betrayal is to "not let your heart control your mind." The heart will push you to make decisions that will bring great loss and damage later. Pray to God to guide you in what to do, turn to His Word, and seek wisdom. Don’t listen to the advice and words of people who do not know God.

Today, make a decision to say, "I will not seek revenge," and tell yourself, "I refuse to be a person filled with anger and bitterness." Don’t let one person be the reason you see life as meaningless or the reason you become bitter, angry, and vengeful. Betrayal is not easy for you to deal with, but with God, you can overcome everything.

Prayer: Lord Jesus, I surrender my heart to You, asking You to cleanse and heal me. Remove bitterness and revenge from within me, and grant me Your wisdom and peace. Amen.

HOW TO DEAL WITH HATRED

"If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own. As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world. That is why the world hates you. John 15:19"

The way you receive and interpret the hatred shown to you by others will determine how that hatred affects your life.

The first thing to understand is that when someone hates you, it does not mean you are a bad person, no! It is because there is something about you or something you are doing that conflicts with or disrupts their interests.

One sad reality of this world is that the person who stands for justice and truth is often the one who is hated and an enemy to evildoers. This is because the world is corrupt, and people are filled with lust and the desire for worldly things.

One of the main reasons people hate you is jealousy. Cain hated his brother and killed him. Because Able was accepted by God and Cain was not. He was not accepted by God because of his actions. Joseph’s brothers also hated him because of jealousy because he was loved and favoured by their father.

The Pharisees and Sadducees hated Jesus because he did not come from their religious system and because he spoke the truth. They hated Jesus to the point of killing Him. But all this happened not because Jesus was a bad person or he had inherited a curse, neither did he have a spirit of rejection. They decided just to hate him.

You are also not different from Jesus. Don't think negatively of yourself. You are not cursed. You don't have a spirit of rejection. Remember, you are loved and accepted by God. People hate because of who they are not because of who you are. A wise person won't hate you because of your shortcomings and weaknesses, he will show you love and help you to be a better person.

Therefore, the way to deal with hatred is to first understand that the world will hate you because of the blessing that God has placed upon you. But in this situation, remember that God loves you, and His love is enough. God’s love gives you the strength to move forward in life and overcome all forms of hatred.

Prayer: Oh Lord, You are with me, and that is enough for me. I pray that You help me overcome all the hatred of this world.

THE TESTIMONY OF GOOD DEEDS

"In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven." Matthew 5:16

One day, there was confusion in a prayer group that I was a part of. It happened like this: Our leaders passed a resolution that if one of us faced financial difficulties or life challenges, those of us in the group who were financially able should help others because some members had significant financial capacity. And indeed, they started helping—some were assisted with rent, others with school fees for their children, and even some had houses built for them. However, they started to complain saying, “We don’t want help because when we are helped, people talk about us.” It was a very serious matter. But I stood up and said, "Those who receive help should be the first to testify and should not feel bad if people know that they were given something for free."

Now, It’s is not right for someone to help another person and then go around announcing, 'I helped so-and-so.'" But if you have been helped by someone, it is your responsibility to testify of the good that has been done to you, so that others may be strengthened in faith and learn to give. When you testify and show gratitude, you encourage the person who helped you, and also, "those good deeds of ours that are meant to shine before others are known in this way." Because, If you remain silent, who will know?

People need to know that there are loving and generous individuals ready and willing to help those in need because Jesus Christ lives in them. "Do not sit quietly while the person who helped you is being spoken ill of, and you say nothing. It’s not right." And if someone has helped you, don’t become proud as if you did the thing yourself. Sometimes, you might find someone saying, “It was only God who helped me; it was just a miracle; I can’t even explain it.” Let’s not do that! Yes, it was God, but through someone—mention their name.

When we love and honour each other, God blesses us all, and people come to know God through us.

Prayer: Lord Jesus, I ask You to give me Your humility and love. I pray for a heart of gratitude and humility. Amen.

WHAT DO YOU DO WHEN YOU ARE WEAK?

"Watch and pray so that you will not fall into temptation. The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak." - Matthew 26:41 (NIV)

Don’t say you have never been weak or that you never will be. We all face challenges that can drain us, moments when we feel like giving up. Even Jesus recognized this struggle, saying, "The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak." But unlike us, Jesus always found strength in prayer. When you’re in a state of weakness, what you need most is to turn to God in prayer, just as He did.

A certain pastor's wife was diagnosed with cancer. When she started feeling ill, she kept confessing that she was healed and well, quoting Isaiah 53:5, " and by His stripes we are healed." She even refused treatment. Her husband prayed for her and even asked his fellow pastor to pray for her, but she insisted, "I am healed" Her condition worsened, and she was admitted to the hospital. When people came to visit, she wouldn’t ask for prayers for healing; instead, she repeated, “I am well; let’s not confess weakness,” she asked people to confess with her that she was healthy. Sadly, the woman did not recover; she passed away.

This story reminds us that true strength comes from acknowledging our need for God’s help. Joel 3:10 says, "Let the weak say, 'I am strong,'” but that doesn’t mean denying our struggles. Rather, it’s a call to admit our weakness to God, allowing Him to fill us with His strength. Confessing our weakness to God isn’t a lack of faith—it’s an acknowledgement that we can’t do it alone. We don’t need to declare our struggles to others, but we must bring them honestly to God. Only then can we stand before life’s challenges and declare, “I am strong” with true conviction.

Without prayer, declarations like “I am strong” become empty words. Prayer fills our words with power, Empowering them with God’s strength rather than our own. Many Christians struggle because they believe they can handle everything on their own. But it’s through prayer that we receive God’s strength, which allows us to overcome life’s trials.

So, when you’re tempted by sin and feel weak, pray. When you’re facing difficulties and can barely hold on, pray. When you pray in times of weakness, don’t be afraid to be honest with God about your struggles. Ask Him for the specific strength you need. Prayer is the way to conquer your weakness and experience God’s power in your life.

Prayer: Lord Jesus, Help me to bring my vulnerabilities before You with honesty, and grant me the courage to declare Your strength in every trial I face. Amen.

ADMITTING THAT YOU'VE MADE A MISTAKE

"Confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective." - James 5:16 NIV

Have you ever been in a relationship with someone who constantly tells you that you've wronged them? Some people only see the mistakes of others, believing they’re always right. This person might be a coworker, a friend, or even your spouse.

Ironically, those who always think they’re right are often the ones making the biggest mistakes. Yet, because they already assume they’re right, they rarely see their own faults. May be this person is you. If you notice that your relationships are strained or not progressing as you’d like, it could be time to look inward and examine yourself correctly.

Our Scripture says, "Confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed." Some interpret this verse as a call to confess sins publicly to fellow believers, inviting them to pray for you. However, this verse is more personal; it calls us to acknowledge our mistakes directly to the person we’ve wronged. It’s an invitation to humble ourselves, to break down the barriers that pride builds, and to pursue peace in our relationships.

Admitting mistakes is challenging for many, especially if you’re in a position of authority. But confessing your faults doesn’t reveal weakness—it reveals maturity. Taking responsibility for your actions, especially when it’s difficult, demonstrates integrity and strength.

When it says "so that you may be healed," it speaks not only of our own inner peace but of the healing in our relationships. Admitting a fault has the power to restore trust and open the door to forgiveness. Think of a strained friendship where bitterness has quietly built up. By acknowledging your role in the conflict, you invite peace and clarity, giving that friendship a chance to thrive again.

If you’ve wronged your spouse, a friend, or anyone else, making amends can be transformative. Some things may not be offenses against God directly but against each other. It’s important to seek forgiveness from those we’ve wronged first, then bring it before God. The Word reminds us: "Confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed."

Prayer: Lord Jesus, grant me the courage to see my own faults and the strength to seek reconciliation with others. Give me a spirit of humility and wisdom so that I may live in peace and bring healing to my relationships. Amen.

PREPARING YOURSELF FOR TOMORROW BY SAVING

"The prudent see danger and take refuge, but the simple keep going and pay the penalty." — Proverbs 22:3 NIV

While we often focus on investing in the Kingdom of God, we must also be wise stewards of the resources God entrusts to us in our personal lives. Important questions to consider are: Will your current job or income always be secure? Will your ability to work remain as strong in the future? Recognizing the potential for financial challenges is a sign of prudence, as Proverbs 22:3 tells us, and it’s crucial to take steps to prepare for such uncertainties.

We have three choices with any money we receive: we can spend it, give an offering, or save it. Wisdom calls for balance—doing all three. As believers, we begin by giving an offering to honour God. After that, spending wisely and saving are essential to managing what remains.

Today, I want to focus on saving. Proverbs 6:6-8 GNT Says; Lazy people should learn a lesson from the way ants live. They have no leader, chief, or ruler, but they store up their food during the summer, getting ready for winter. Saving is not just a practical action, it’s also a spiritual one. We should not say, “Tomorrow will take care of itself.” Instead, we are called to plan and save wisely for the future, trusting that God will bless our efforts.

Here are some key principles for saving: First, live within your means. Avoid unnecessary Spending and Luxury things. Start saving now, even if it’s just a small amount. Don’t delay by telling yourself, “I’ll save tomorrow.” By developing the habit of saving today, you safeguard yourself and your family against future financial challenges. And as you practice financial discipline, God can increase what you have.

It’s also important to balance giving, spending, and saving. All three are part of being a faithful steward of God’s provision. Saving allows you to continue being generous and responsible in the future, even when hard times come. We learn from Joseph, who, with God’s wisdom, saved grains during Egypt’s years of abundance. When the famine arrived, the food he stored sustained not only Egypt but also the surrounding nations.

If you follow these principles, you not only protect yourself from future financial difficulties but also honor God with how you manage His blessings. Let us ask Him for guidance as we strive to live as wise and faithful stewards.

Prayer: Lord Jesus, help me to make wise decisions with the money You place in my hands. Grant me the discipline to balance giving, spending, and saving, and to honor You with my resources. Amen.

DISCERNMENT IN GIVING: AVOID LOSS AND PROTECT YOUR WORTH

"Do not give dogs what is holy, and do not throw your pearls before swine, lest they trample them underfoot and turn to attack you." Matthew 7:6

Jesus often used figurative language to convey deep spiritual truths. In this case, He is teaching us to be mindful of how we share what we value with others. God’s Word instructs us to love even our enemies, so that we may reflect His nature, as He sends rain to both the righteous and the unrighteous (Matthew 5:43-45). However, while God is loving and merciful, He also sets boundaries.

For example, though God loves all people, not everyone will enter Heaven. Revelation 21:7-8 tells us that only those who are holy will enter because Heaven is a place of great value to God, a place He protects. Similarly, God withholds blessings when they are requested with selfish motives. James 4:3 says, "You ask and do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, so that you may spend it on your pleasures."

In the same way, we are called to be discerning when helping others. If you know that someone is going to misuse what you give them, you have every right to say no. There’s wisdom in setting boundaries, and saying no does not mean you are unkind. Many times, when people are denied what they want, they may judge or criticize you, calling you selfish or unfeeling. But often, their desire for what you have is driven by harmful intentions, not genuine need.

For instance, imagine giving money to someone who promises to use it for food, only to find out later that they spent it on something destructive. This is like casting your pearls before swine—offering something valuable to someone who does not appreciate or respect it. In such situations, not only is your generosity wasted, but you may also be hurt by their disregard for your kindness.

God understands the pain that comes with this kind of loss. That’s why He calls us to be disciplined in how we give. Discipline means knowing when to say no, protecting your time, energy, and resources, and ensuring that they are used for good, not wasted. If we fail to exercise this discipline, we risk being trampled on, just as Jesus warns in Matthew 7:6. Those we give to carelessly may turn and harm us in return.

Prayer: Oh Lord Jesus, I pray for Your wisdom and courage in the decisions I make. Help me to be discerning and protect me from doing things at a loss. Amen.

THE POWER OF FORGIVENESS

"You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives. Genesis 50:20 NIV

When you experience deep pain in your life due to the actions of people close to you, forgiveness can be a difficult thing to do. For you to forgive your enemies and people who offended you, you need God's help. The grace to forgive comes as God shows you something better that you will gain as a benefit of forgiving.

Regarding Joseph, I believe the matter of forgiving his brothers was not easy for him, nor did it come immediately, given the suffering he continued to endure in his life. I think he often remembered the source of his suffering, and the people who ruined his life were his brothers by selling him into slavery.

Now, if you have also gone through hardships in your life and perhaps there is a person or people who did things to ruin your life, today ask God for the grace to forgive. And know that no one can ruin God's plan for your life no matter what they did to you.

Bitterness and unforgiveness make the hardships you go through a barrier and a reason for you to remain stuck and fail to achieve your goals. But if you change your perspective and look to God and the promises He gave in his Word, you will prosper.

Think about the dreams and visions you once had, and decide in your heart that no one will stop you from reaching them. Then, don't allow bitterness and unforgiveness to be your barrier. If you choose to forgive them, God will release His grace upon you and bless you as He has promised. The tough times you went through will become your testimony because God uses hardships to bring you to His purpose.

Prayer: Jesus, thank You for the grace of forgiveness. I believe the hardships I am going through are a path to fulfilling Your purpose. Amen.

DO NOT GIVE UP, TRUST GOD, BELIEVE IN HIS WORD

"Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." Isaiah 41:10 (NKJV)

There are times in life when you face a challenge in a certain matter to the point where you feel like it's the end. You lose hope and give up because, with human understanding, you don't see how your problem can be resolved.

Today, I want you to understand that when you are in such a situation, it is not the end. It is the moment for you to make a decision. A decision to either accept the problem and give in to defeat or to choose to believe in God's Word and be victorious.

My advice is that you should never give up. Whenever you face challenges, make the decision to believe in God and in His promises because he has said:

"Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. All who rage against you will surely be ashamed and disgraced; those who oppose you will be as nothing and perish. Though you search for your enemies, you will not find them. Those who wage war against you will be as nothing at all. For I am the Lord your God who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you." Isaiah 41:10-13 (NKJV)

God also continues to say in Isaiah 43:1-2 (NKJV):

"Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze."

Prayer: Jesus, I have chosen to trust You and to believe in Your Word. I ask You to strengthen me so that I will never give up. Amen.

YOU MUST PRAY

Watch and pray, lest you enter into temptation. The spirit, indeed, is willing, but the flesh is weak. Matthew 26:41 (NKJV)

When Jesus was here on earth, He had a habit of praying all the time. You will read in the scriptures that He often went to the mountain to pray all night. Therefore, it is also important for you to make praying a habit and part of your lifestyle. Don't wait until you're in trouble to pray.

It’s not that Jesus prayed only when He found time. No! Jesus set aside specific times for prayer, and even if something conflicted with His prayer schedule, He would cancel it. This shows that prayer was very important to Him.

Although Jesus was the Son of God and had no sin, we see that He was devoted to prayer. In today's verse, these are His words to His disciples because He knew temptations were ahead of them, and they were unprepared; their bodies were weak. The only way they could overcome those temptations was through prayer.

In the same way, for you to overcome all kinds of temptations, you must be a person of prayer. You might feel that there’s no need to pray because everything in your life is going well, but you should pray for your future because you don’t know what tomorrow will bring.

Without prayer, you will lack the strength to overcome temptations when they come, just like the disciples of Jesus. If you read the following verses in Matthew 26, you will see that all the disciples fled, and Peter denied Jesus. All of this happened because they weren’t prepared in prayer.

So, make an effort to pray continuously so you may gain the strength to overcome all the challenges you face and receive God's help and strength to overcome every temptation. Amen.

Prayer: Lord, I ask You to help me remain constant in prayer at all times so that I may have the strength to overcome all temptations. Amen.

THE BENEFITS OF STUDYING GOD'S WORD

"Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path." Psalm 119:105

Just as a lamp guides a person's steps in the dark, so does the Word of God lead us in the ways of righteousness, showing us what we should do and where we should go. Without the guidance of God's Word, our lives would be like walking in darkness, unable to see the dangers or challenges ahead in the journey of our life.

The first thing you need to know today is, God's Word helps you make the right decisions. When you find yourself facing difficult decisions, His Word gives you wisdom. As written in James 1:5, "If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him." Through the Word, you gain the knowledge to choose the best path aligned with God's will.

Secondly, God's Word keeps you from sin. You understand it as a shield against sin because it teaches you what is right and wrong. You store it in your heart, helping you avoid the trap of sinning, as stated in Psalm 119:11: "Your word I have hidden in my heart, that I might not sin against You."

In times of sorrow and hardship, God's Word is a comfort to us. Psalm 119:50 says, "This is my comfort in my affliction, for Your promise has given me life." When you face trials, you find hope and strength through the promises contained in God's Word.

God's Word also teaches you how to live a godly life. God has given us His Word for teaching and guiding people in righteousness. The knowledge of God's Word is your daily guide, enabling you to live a life that aligns with God's will.

Finally, God's Word reveals your purpose and destiny. Jeremiah 29:11 assures you that God has a good plan for your life. As you study His Word, you gain insight into understanding that God has thoughts of peace towards you and desires to give you hope for the future.

Prayer: Lord Jesus, help me to understand and keep Your Word, so it may guide me and prevent me from straying, and my life may not be ruined. Amen

OUR GOD IS FULL OF MERCY

"For You, Lord, are good, and ready to forgive, and abundant in mercy to all those who call upon You." Psalm 86:5 (NKJV)

God is known to be good and full of love for His people, and one of the key aspects that reflects this goodness is His readiness to forgive. The phrase "ready to forgive" shows God's nature that is always waiting to restore us when we fall. God's forgiveness is not limited to a selected few but is available to everyone who calls on Him in faith and humility.

God is "abundant in mercy to all those who call upon Him," He desires to show mercy to His people and is always ready to forgive, bless, and help those who seek Him in prayer. His goodness and mercy are accessible to all who trust in and pray to Him with a sincere heart.

In 1 John 1:9, the Bible says:
"If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."
I want you to know God’s forgiveness does not come with difficult conditions; what is required is a genuine heart of repentance and humility. God forgives us and restores us to righteousness, and His forgiveness is accompanied by true love.

When we have a close relationship with God, we will see His hand working in our lives in amazing ways. Daily prayers bring us closer to God, and we receive His mercy every time we call upon Him. In Psalm 145:18-19, we read:
"The Lord is near to all who call upon Him, to all who call upon Him in truth. He will fulfil the desire of those who fear Him; He also will hear their cry and save them."

It is important to maintain daily fellowship with God through prayer because when we call upon Him, He answers us and shows us His goodness. God’s mercy is upon His people, and we have to call upon Him and trust in Him at all times, so we may enjoy His endless blessings and mercy.

Prayer: Oh Lord, grant me the grace to remain close to You at all times, for You are full of mercy, and Your lovingkindness never ceases toward me. Amen.

DIVINE ELEVATION AND HONOR

You will make me greater than ever, and you will comfort me again. Psalms 71:21 NCV

God desires to see His people elevated and honoured; he wants to give them better positions in society and goodness in their personal lives. God is with us through all stages of life, offering comfort in times of sorrow, trials, and challenges. This shows that God not only blesses us physically and grants us honour but also provides us with spiritual comfort and peace.

In short, today's message teaches us that God is ready to increase goodness, blessings, and comfort in our lives without limit. In Ephesians 3:20, the Word of God says: "Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us."

This teaches us that God can bless us beyond what we can imagine. His blessings have no limits, and He is ready to make us happier and more respected as long as we live depending on Him. In Jeremiah 29:11, God says: "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope."

God has a history of rescuing and honouring His people who have been despised by society. In 1 Samuel 2:8, the Word says: "He raises the poor from the dust and lifts the needy from the ash heap; he seats them with princes and has them inherit a throne of honour."

God wants you to live in joy and fullness of life, which includes all kinds of blessings – physical, spiritual, and economic. So, if you are in a low and needy state, know that this is not God's will for you. Do not let the enemy deceive you into accepting and settling for that condition. After David went through difficult times in his life, he said: "Though you have made me see troubles, many and bitter, you will restore my life again; from the depths of the earth, you will again bring me up. You will increase my honour and comfort me once more." Psalm 71:20-21 (NIV)

Therefore, I pray for God's unlimited blessings upon you. May God increase your honour and comfort you again, wiping away your tears and making you forget all the hardships you have endured.

Prayer: Oh Lord, I believe You will bless me more and honour me. I pray that my faith remains steadfast in You always. Amen.

How to Deal with Anger and Revenge

"Beloved, never avenge yourselves, but leave the way open for [God's] wrath; for it is written, Vengeance is Mine, I will repay (requite), says the Lord. Romans 12:19 AMPC

My message today is for you who have been wronged by someone, and you feel like you can take revenge. You have the power, the ability, and maybe you have already decided to act on it. May be you are someone who has endured a lot, and now you feel like you’ve reached the limit of your patience, ready to take action against your enemies, this message is for you.

The last group I’m addressing is those who are habitual revenge-seekers—those who feel the need to retaliate every time someone wrongs them. There are even people who plan long-term revenge against others.

The first thing I want you to know is that revenge damages you personally. You can not take revenge and remain the same. Revenge changes you, making you no different from the person who wronged you, and sometimes it makes you worse than them.

Now, let’s go back to this scripture: “Dear friends, never take revenge. Leave that to the righteous anger of God. For the Scriptures say, 'Vengeance is mine; I will repay,' says the Lord. But if your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him something to drink. By doing this, you will heap burning coals on his head. Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.” Romans 12:19-21 (NIV)

So, what you need to do is learn humility and follow what is written here. Entrust your enemies to God. He knows how to handle them better than you do. Don’t think that you can take revenge better than God. Do good to everyone, even those who have hurt you.

Also, not every wrong needs revenge. Some people who have wronged you need help, as their souls are trapped by the enemy and are being used to do evil. These people need your help, but although they are doing evil, your love and kindness will give them reason to repent and change. The Word of God says, “Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.”

Prayer: Oh Lord, I ask that you grant me humility and faith, so I can allow You to fight against all my enemies. Amen.

HE IS GOD IN EVERY SITUATION

But You, O Lord, are a shield around me; my glory, and the One who lifts up my head. Psalm 3:3

Our God is the God who fits every situation. He is a God who knows everything about us. Moreover, our God is mighty and brave; He does not want to see the enemy oppressing us in any way. I am telling you these words because there are times you go through challenges, and you forget the power of God because He hasn’t done something for you yet.

In this Psalm, David begins by saying, "Lord, how many are my foes! How many rise up against me! Many are saying of me, 'God will not deliver him.' Psalm 3:1-2 (NIV)"

What helped David was that he never forgot his God. Even in this time of suffering and distress, he knew his God. That is why he said, "But You, O Lord, are a shield around me; my glory, and the One who lifts my head."

The main job of your enemies is to discourage you and take away your confidence. But God is the lifter of your head. He will lift you up, and you will no longer be ashamed—He will make you succeed. God will give you the courage to move forward in your work without being hindered by the words of your enemies anymore.

Prayer: Lord Jesus, I thank You for Your protection. I believe you will lift me up and make me succeed in my work. Amen.

GOD IS YOUR PROTECTOR AND YOUR DEFENDER

"He permitted no one to do them wrong; Yes, He rebuked kings for their sakes. Psalm 105:14 NKJV"

Maybe you are in a situation where someone or people have risen up to fight against you, to destroy and ruin your life. Today's word has come to give you wisdom and help you understand that God will not allow anyone to oppress you.

For God to defend you, first make sure your ways are right so you don't give the enemy a chance. When you have faults and sins, that already becomes an open door for your enemy to succeed against you in the battle you're fighting.

Secondly, have a strong faith that you are precious in God's sight and that God is on your side to save you. Our God is a God who comes to defend you when the enemy wants to destroy you.

When Laban wanted to harm Jacob, God appeared to Laban in a dream and warned him, “Be careful not to say anything to Jacob, either good or bad. Genesis 31:24” Even the words your enemies speak against you do not please God, and God does not want to see you suffer because of your enemies' words.

Today's word says, “He rebuked kings for their sake.” Do not fear the positions or ranks of those oppressing you. If you stand on righteousness, God will deal with them. No one has more power than God. God will fight for you and save you. Trust Him and keep praying.

Prayer: O LORD, You are the ruler of the whole world, and You reign in righteousness. I ask You to stand and defend me against my enemies. Amen.
