Theoretically, if the upcoming Trump administration were to prosecute high-profile politicians and corrupt bureaucrats, the Deep State/MSM won’t be able to cry “political weaponization”.

It’s hilarious how anti-Trumpers have convinced themselves that Trump is part of the Swamp.
The same people who initially claimed the Swamp did not exist, are now experts on how to drain it.
Meanwhile, the Swamp spent the last 8 years dedicating all assets to stopping Trump. If the Swamp did not view Trump as a threat, they would not be dedicating this much effort and ammunition to obstructing the MAGA agenda. If Trump was on their team, they would not have gone through this 8 years of irregular political/informational warfare.
The Deep State’s greatest strength was that the public didn’t know they existed. This battle with Trump has exposed their existence. Prior to Trump, they had 99% of the public under their spell. Now they do not. The public are exponentially more awake, thanks to Trump.
No matter how you slice it, Trump is not one of “them”. He is on a mission to expose them, which is why they attack him more than they attack anyone else.
Trump continues to dominate the polls, and with the Libertarian Party picking a far-Left lunatic, Trump just picked up another 1-2% of the popular vote.
Now the MSM are trying to normalize the idea that Trump might be put behind bars.
Tyranny is the Deep State’s only option.
He’s gonna win, and they know it.
Come November, the majority of Libertarians will be voting Trump.
The LP just scared off the Right-leaning/sane Libertarians. Chase Oliver won’t eclipse 1%. The other 2% will likely vote Trump.
The biggest winner of the Libertarian convention is Trump, and it’s not even close.

In a close vote, the LP picked the open-borders and pro-trans candidate, Chase Oliver.
It’s safe to say that many Right-leaning Libertarians are NOT voting for that.
This is a massive win for Trump. He is going to look mighty appealing come November 5th.
Libertarians should be ecstatic.
Trump is offering to appoint Libertarians to the cabinet and senior posts.
This would give Libertarians an opportunity to showcase their skills, bring influence to the next administration, and build support for future elections. It’s the best option for both the short and long term.
Regardless of how you feel, 2024 is a three man race. It’s either Trump, Biden, or the DNC candidate that replaces Biden. The only realistic scenario that includes ANY representation for Libertarians, is under a Trump administration.
Trump is offering Libertarians a seat at the table, in exchange for their vote. Seems like a damn good deal to me. It’s infinitely better than what Libertarians normally get, which is absolutely nothing.
It would be shortsighted for Libertarians to ignore the value of this opportunity.
Trump navigated the Libertarian convention about as well as he could, maintaining class and grace in a hostile environment.
Trump didn’t give a full mea culpa for his first term, but he offered Libertarians a seat in the cabinet, and some policy decisions that Libertarians would otherwise not get.
We at least have to respect that Trump had the balls to walk into the lion’s den, and offer a deal in exchange for our vote. Now my fellow Libertarians have the choice of either throwing away their vote and indirectly helping the reelection of Joe Biden, or voting for Trump and getting more representation in an upcoming Trump administration than Libertarians have had… ever.
Trump is at least offering Libertarians a seat at the table. For a party that has only secured more than 1% of the popular vote ONCE since 1972, that sounds like a pretty good deal.
Trump might not be the ideal Libertarian candidate, but I got news for y’all; Ron Paul ain’t on the ballot.
I was in DC last night to see Dave Smith and Robbie Bernstein perform at the unofficial Libertarian Convention kickoff party.
The main thing I gathered, is that if Trump would admit his mistakes from his first term, particularly his defense of the vaccines, Trump could win over a sizable chunk of the Libertarian vote in 2024.
Is this going to happen? It appears unlikely at this point, but Trump has an opportunity this Sunday, when he speaks at the Libertarian Convention.
If Trump’s plan is to garner votes from Libertarians, he is going to have to prove that he has learned from his mistakes.

This seems to be the trend for these Left-wing propaganda outlets. The demand for their services is nearly nonexistent after decades of lies and disinformation.

Comey knows that Trump is going to cleanse the DOJ/FBI. The only difference between 2016 and now, is that Trump has the public support, the optics, the precedent, and the justification, to actually pull it off.

Bill Maher makes an excellent distinction between the true definition of “liberalism” and the new era of the modern Left, otherwise known as “woke”.
You might not like Maher, but this kind of rhetoric coming from him does significantly more damage than a conservative voice.
But what Maher refuses to address, is that the DNC are now completely controlled by the radical “woke” Leftists. The Left have abandoned the classical liberals. The definition of “classical liberal” includes:
-individual autonomy
-limited government
-economic freedom
-freedom of speech
The current Left/DNC do not reflect ANY of these characteristics. In fact they represent the exact opposite. These characteristics now belong to the Right.
Any blue-voter calling themselves a “classical liberal” is just an indirect way of admitting Trump was right about the Dems being batshit insane.
Do the Dems realize how badly they just screwed themselves?
All of these cases against Trump have done nothing but exonerate him, increase his support, and most importantly, open the door for reciprocity by establishing some dangerous precedents.

Now Trump and his administration could realistically prosecute anyone they wanted to, and the Dems could not cry political weaponization. THEY are the ones who opened Pandora’s Box.
If Trump gets in the White House, he has the optics, the support, and the precedent, necessary to hold Deep State actors accountable and drain the Swamp.
The public have been normalized to accept, and in many cases cheer for, high-profile politicians being charged, investigated, arrested, prosecuted, etc.

Trump has already won the court of public opinion. Even if they convict him, it will have an inverse effect and increase his support.
