Regardless of who the Democrat nominee ends up being, the Dems appear unorganized, incompetent, and untrustworthy.
If this was the Deep State’s plan, it’s a terrible one. Whatever they hoped to accomplish, they’ve squandered it with abysmal optics.
If they stick with Biden, the MSM are going to have to walk back all their recent negative press about him, and go back to bootlicking for Biden, which will be a nearly impossible sell to the public, and Trump will win.
If they go with another candidate, the Dems/MSM will have limited time to prop up the new ticket, they will be essentially circumventing the democratic process by selecting a nominee instead of holding a primary, and all their viable replacements are polling worse than Joe the vegetable.
The Dems are between a rock and a hard place. Their optics are terrible no matter what they do, they don’t have a candidate that can compete with Trump, and they are almost out of time.

-remove Trump

Trump has jumped to a huge betting favorite to win the election, while Joe has dropped to a huge underdog.
As of right now, the betting markets seem to believe Joe is done, with Gavin Newsom as the frontrunner to replace Biden.

The best part is, the Dems/MSM are doing the heavy lifting. Their incompetence speaks for itself.

Trump wants to put a reasonable cap on how far into pregnancy women can get abortions, and Democrats want to be able to murder babies without any limits, or any physical danger to the mother.

He details how Biden’s campaign is “teetering on the brink”, and that tonight’s debate is crucial if they intend to change the trajectory before November.
If Biden does not have a strong showing, his campaign might be over.
I honestly didn’t think the Dems would let Biden debate.
I thought for sure they would have backed out by now, but it appears they are actually going to do it. They must feel confident in whatever drug cocktail they are feeding Joe.
They must feel confident in their game plan, which is just to call Trump a “convicted felon” over and over again.
However, I still don’t see how this is anything but a disaster for Biden and the Dems. Even if they give Joe all the questions early and load him up with drugs, he is still going to fumble his words, and Trump is still going to roast him.
Even if CNN cuts Trump off and treats him unfairly, that will just confirm Trump’s narrative that the media are corrupt. The Dems are in high-risk/low-reward scenario.
