Anyone else find it ironic that most Libertarians have been so consumed by TDS, that they are actively lobbying AGAINST tax cuts, and IN FAVOR of tax hikes?
Without the OBBB or another extension of TCJA by January, rates will revert to pre-2017 levels, and the average taxpayer could face up to a 22% tax hike.
The reason Trump wants to add everything into one big bill, is because we don’t have 60 votes in the senate to pass legislation, hence why Trump is packing these tax cuts into the budget reconciliation bill, which only requires 50+VP. I know everyone wants single issue bills, but if we do that without a supermajority, nothing will ever get passed through Congress. We will be stalemated, the MAGA agenda will be stalled, and we will keep way less of our income.
The Libertarians are embarrassing themselves. More than usual. They are missing the forest for the trees.
Unless we have 60+ seats in the Senate and a comfortable majority in the House, it’s going to take some compromise to pass Trump’s agenda through Congress.
Navigating the swamp is not straightforward. Trump is not a king or a dictator. Deals must be made.
But if we can finish the wall, secure the border, fund ICE, conduct mass deportations, and let Americans keep more of their money, that’s a MASSIVE win. Once we have the perimeter secure, the Dems’ election fraud schemes are neutralized, and we are no longer at risk of becoming a one-party state ruled by the radical Left, then we can start addressing other problems.
People don’t seem to understand that we are engaged in irregular political warfare. We are at war with the enemy within. Trump is a wartime President.
If the border is not secured, the illegals are not shipped out, and elections are not secured, this nation, and thus the world, will be lost forever.
-Finish the wall and secure the border
-Fund ICE and conduct mass deportations
-Neutralize Dems’ ability to cheat in elections via illegal vote
-Remove illegals from census to give Trump more numbers in House
-Secure elections with same day paper ballots and voter ID
Once all these things are done and elections are secure, the Dems will never win a federal election again, it will be substantially harder for them to steal their state elections, they will have less seats in the House after a new census, and their plan to permanently take over the US will have failed.
Once we neutralize this massive election fraud scheme via unchecked illegal immigration, THEN we can actually obtain supermajorities in both the House and Senate, and we can implement the MAGA agenda with greater ease, and not have to worry about squeezing policy into spending bills to get past the 60 vote rule in the Senate.
Yes, we have to address the national debt and spending, but there are far more pressing priorities, to include the hostile takeover of the United States from within via illegal immigration.

In retrospect, I think the Trump/Elon public feud was 100% fabricated.
If Trump already had the deals in place with Saudi, Qatar, and UAE, back in May, and Trump knew he would have to pull off this maneuver, that would explain why Elon and Trump had their “fight” 2 weeks later, and BEFORE Trump destroyed Iran’s nuclear facilities.
Elon had to go back to the private sector, and did not want to seem like he was affiliated with the up and coming military operations, which would be understandably bad for business. Elon had to distance himself from the administration for optics purposes.
I believe Trump, and his team, knew that they were going to strike Iran, and staged the feud to create the illusion of distance between Elon and Trump, so Elon could make a smooth transition to the private sector.
Elon has been EXTREMELY quiet throughout this entire “12 Day War” and military operation. It’s not an accident.
He is distancing himself from the situation, and rightfully so.

I believe this Iran situation stems from Obama’s Iran deal (JCPOA) in 2015.
Obama unfroze $150 billion in sanctions on Iran, and shipped them $1.7 billion in cash, to NOT make nuclear weapons.
Obama’s Iran Deal did the opposite of the stated purpose, and it led to Iran still trying to build nuclear weapons, but with a lot more money in their pockets.
Trump has said many times, in the past and in the present, that Obama’s Iran Deal was designed to HELP Iran to develop nuclear weapons. Trump even posted memes last month, saying “all roads lead back to Obama” and that he wants “public military tribunals”. I didn’t make that up, this is the kind of stuff Trump actually posts on Truth Social.
Assuming Trump is correct, that would mean that Iran was/is a Deep State proxy, and Obama was WITTINGLY helping Iran develop a nuclear weapon.
This is not so much about Iran, as much as it is about OBAMA and the Deep State USING Iran as a proxy to develop nuclear weapons, and presumably start WW3.
I believe this strike was about destroying a Deep State asset that was threatening the Middle East, and thus the world. This is not a war with Iran. This is a war with the Deep State. Trump is at war with Obama and the enemy within.
All roads lead back to Obama. Trump himself said so.
The American People did just enough to pass Trump’s agenda.
