If Trump wants to send US MIL troops to US cities, he is Constitutionally able to do so via the Insurrection Act, and this is not an unprecedented action.

I believe Trump and the US MIL are about to save the Republic.
Trump is indicating that we may be getting close to a resolution in the Middle East.
To be fair, we have been close before, but Trump and others in his administration seem confident a deal will get done.
This would not only be a huge win for humanity, but it would also grant Trump near-unlimited political ammunition and trust with the public. Trump’s public approval will be surging right after he secures this massive peace deal.
Strategically speaking, Trump is in an extremely dominant position against the Deep State. Trump is winning the battle of optics, Left-wing MSM narratives are not sticking like they used to, and when he secures a peace deal in the Middle East, the People will be more willing to trust him on other things, like arresting traitorous high-profile officials.
Timing could be very important.

For argument’s sake, let’s assume Trump and his administration end up following through with high-profile arrests of Deep State actors for treason/sedition.
There is a high probability that there would be some form of public backlash. The MSM will make their sheep riot.
Wouldn’t it make sense to have some sort of standing deterrent on-hand to deal with any uprisings or rebellion? Wouldn’t it be necessary to have security in place BEFORE any high-profile arrests can be made?

US MIL in US cities is essentially the Insurrection Act. As for whether or not that’s the actual legal avenue Trump utilizes to get troops to Dem-run cities like Portland, the end result is that of the Insurrection Act, whether it’s been invoked or not. Antifa is a violent insurrection/terrorist operation, and Trump is sending US troops authorized with “full force”.
This is the beginning of the dismantling of Antifa and the Left-wing terrorist network nationwide. Trump is eliminating the Deep State’s brownshirts.

I see a lot of people already panicking that a Biden-appointed judge is presiding over Comey’s indictments.
This could be a bad thing, or it could be the best scenario possible.
Now if Comey is convicted, the Left cannot claim it’s partisan, because a Biden-appointed judge is overseeing the case.
Obviously we will have to wait and see what happens, and the Biden-appointed judge could try to throw out the case claiming political motivation, but if the charges stick, the Dems/MSM will have a hard time blaming Trump for Comey’s conviction, when one of their own approved the process.

Trump did not weaponize the justice department.
The Democrats, and their loyalists in the intelligence community, they are the ones who politically weaponized every lever of government against Trump for the last 10 years.
Comey is facing justice for weaponizing the FBI, and he is just the beginning. The entire treasonous plot will be exposed, and all those who participated will face judgement.
The Left are desperate to make this appear as some sort of unprecedented action by Trump’s DOJ, but the reality is, the DOJ was weaponized long ago, and Trump is undoing the weaponization.
When asked if there will be more indictments, Trump says he believes “there will be others”.
He says that they were a group of “radical Left democrats”, that “weaponized the justice department”.
Trump seems to believe there is much more coming. Comey was just the first domino.

This is an ACTUAL insurrection. Elected Democrat officials are not only refusing to police these criminals, they are now trying to prevent Trump from doing so.

POTUS technically does not need to invoke the Insurrection Act to send US Military to defend federal property, it’s considered a federal function, NOT local policing.
So Trump can move troops to ICE facilities, have forces in place preemptively, then if he chooses to invoke the Insurrection Act, troops will already be in position, on standby.
The Insurrection Act would be needed if US MIL were to be engaged in riot control, general law enforcement, or quelling rebellion not on federal property.
Trump is putting himself in position so that if he does choose to invoke the Insurrection Act, he already has troops in place at areas of need, and can flip the switch at any moment from defense to offense.
My guess is that the decision is already made. Trump is getting his ducks in a row before he strikes, which is generally his modus operandi.
Battles are won before they begin.
Trump is now going after Comey’s successor, former Director of the FBI, Christopher Wray.
Just like Comey, Wray lied to Congress, specifically about embedded agents in the crowd on January 6th, which we now know to be 274 agents.
January 6th was a treasonous hoax, designed to prevent Trump from contesting the stolen election. It was an illegal entrapment operation by the intelligence community, as part of the broader treasonous plot to remove and destroy Trump by any means necessary.

I imagine the more severe crimes will be saved towards the end, once the public have been repeatedly shown the timeline of events, and have digested/understand the treasonous activity that occurred during Trump’s transition, into his presidency, and beyond.
