Microstrategy just bought approx 12k btc more.

They apparently have a big leveraged position too.

Imagine the level of catastrophe for btc should the liquidations cascade commence.

I don't know their leverage though nor conditions, but leverage is a leverage. At -50% in btc, pretty much all but 2x lev is rekt. And 50% for btc is possible, all bull runs until now had -30% at one point.

I don't say it's bad buy for Microstrategy this time (I did last time when they were at the top) as it could be a short hold, but I think they have pretty big risk apetite.

They are able to collapse an entire industry, and playing with real risk if their leverage concerns the full account.

If that's the case, I can say nothing but that they are bigger fools than I thought. Not only one ordinary D Man knows when to buy and when to sell better than them (proven with public post quoted before)... but also that even 3x is too large risk for such thing.

However, I don't believe that guys running 14 billion in assets are idiots.

To last info, for some margin call, btc should hit 21k, which even according to my craziest bear scenario is not as likely as hitting say 95k.

However, still, very risky play, not immune to Black Swan.

I wish them luck, because bravery deserves luck!

I don't know if I'd dare such thing with other people's money.

I can see already one event that has capability to wreck btc despite even exchange-level-manipulation efforts - you know it too - Mt. Gox, if they would liquidate in an unexpected fahion.

Again, I don't know the matter well enough. This time I am not saying they did a dumb buy or smart one. Last time, you can see here in quoted message I outtraded them and their traders.

Most people are still not aware that alts vs btc are dead now. Because the breakdown is slow.

AND STILL... I'd hold my high conviction alts... because the cost of missing out, if I'm wrong, is too high. Because if no breakdown, then bull run.
