The number one event for the US economy is November's presidential elections.

I think the people in the power are happy to even temporarily (post elections) sacrifice the economy, in order to paint a strong picture as we head into the elections.

This will be #1 driving force and deciding factor beneath FED decisions and surprises. Some who don't understand this or undervalue its impact will find themselves surprised with some 'weird' or counter-their-own-benefit decisions that economic rulers will make. It is actually to be expected.

Strong economy = people happy and vote for the same.

Weak economy = people seek change.

Change in Trump is seen as dangerous by people currently in power in the US, so they are ready to go even the extra mile to ensure it doesn't happen.

Of course, if you're naive and think "nah, they wouldn't do that", remember number one rule of power: preserve power.

Now, do you know why the 2008 crisis happened?

Because things were not properly priced!

Root cause.

The market didn't have a chance to properly establish value for things and that created a disproportion and eventually a collapse.

The more FED and treasury try to manipulate to keep the economic expansion, they cannot overdo it. They must be very careful, as it creates consequences eventually when it gets properly priced in, or worse... accidentally discovered.

If you ever flew a plane and felt a turbulence, it's how you can imagine such events upon discovering real value vs manipulated value. Not a smooth ride, but as sudden voids in space.

There is a danger if year gets closed post elections weak (I think again they will not allow that), balance sheets of the top 20% of consumers that account for approx 80% of the spendings will caution prudence and thus slow down economy further into the year. Then the post-election release of the manipulated number, bringing them to normal speeds... whoever gets another term will have hard time with the US economy.

+ the expenditures for wars in Israel and Ukraine.

Until now the US waged wars as source of funding. This one is the most dangerous yet, as the enemy is no longer Libya, but Russia

I see coming months (beisdes shorter 1-2 month medium term corrections possible), to be the ones of further economic growth into November's elections, followed by hardships afterwards to balance out that growth and maintain economy standing.

So the ideal way is if you can avoid all drugs, and self-regulate yourself from within.

People were in sort of jail during covid lockdown.
Post lockdown, is like prisoner released, the first thing he goes is to see his family, friends and then fuck something.

For the past two years all people are doing is fucking.

Traveling. Living. Enjoying. Spending.

Real inflation is likely higher than what is being presented, and you don't need numbers to tell you that - you see everything is more expensive, your money less worth.

Where does that money come from?

Did all people get second jobs?

Did all those people do unthinkable and save a decade before without telling anyone?

Or... it's a simple debt getting into a darker shade of red?

Yup.

Then you have a world division into a multipolar system BRICS vs West which is basically at 50-50 in population.

This all will end in hardships, smaller marketplace, etc. not in a positive impact.

Yes, one side can prove more capable than other and could moon for some time, however, having half of previous market will have an impact, especially for US which had broken the pathway to most markets.

Wars are happening to further the division, uncertainty, and economic shrinkage.

There will be winners. One side or another.

One of most certain loser, almost the largest loser of all, and I wrote about it, I predicted the collapse within the 5-10 years of the European Union. Last I wrote about it here: /channel/blockchainwhispersbaby/11381 But first I warned you even before BREXIT was on the table. Britain already left. One more strong or three smaller countries to leave, it collapses.

They did TOP level of stupid decisions. Not one group of countries, neither BRICS nor USA did so many mistakes. In fact, USA did brilliant job with the economy. Russia amazing job dealing with sanctions. But EU, like it is led by ... I don't want to insult but I don't think monkeys would do much worse self-destructing job than what current EU leadership is doing.

Remember years back when I told you my prediction.

It sounded again so far fetched.

Since then BREXIT happened.

Let me narrow it down: Within the next 7 years, EU collapses.

The only good thing about European Union is trade union - no borders. Everything else, the laws led by Germany, and Germany led by green/immigrants/tampons-in-male-toilets agenda... a terrible idea.

Israel situation - I don't know much about. I'm not properly informed on the situation as it doesn't concern too much markets, and I am not a political person. I don't bother with politics. Since I believe the best solution would be that I'm omni-powerful dictatorial leader of the world, until that happens I have no interest in sub-optimal political moves.

Ukraine I also follow less now, as it has less and less economic impact.

Russian president Putin recently said he doesn't plan on using any nukes and there is no need for them. This is very good news. Because although he, not only he but any military man can use deception to lower the guard of the enemy, the very brutality of nuclear weapons cannot be activated without ensuring the support of the people. Unless US attacks Russia (for which it has no reasons, since US is stronger military force) with nukes, I don't think in near future nukes are the problem. And with them not being a problem, the war deescalates in a way to borders of Ukraine and again, as terrible as wars are, there are daily catastrophes, kids dying, people get hit by a brick, I am not interested to follow such events. When I heard of Putin's no-requirements-met for use of nuclear weapons, I was relieved. The world is safe.

What you should be paying attention though are borders, world borders, world's political borders... from one group or other.

If you ever tried to lit a flame, a paper or a wood, it's easiest on edges, on borders...

watch out for smaller countries.

Tensions, even world wars started that way.

Even though this could turn into world war, easily, I don't think it happens until the end of the year.

China had decades of up run in the economy.

I think China has now entered an almost decade-long (decade from now) stagnation, correction, economy slowing. At least 5 next years.

Trade wars with China, it's position from cheap labour partner, to economic rival (thus getting an enemy), overbuilding and due for natural correction,... are the elements that push China's economy to rest.

I think Chinese Yuan will drop within a year.

I wrote even last year about this China's stagnation.

It's nothing new, just now more and more investors are aware of the rising risks of debt monetization. Thus the yuan drop.

Westerners have trouble understanding Chinese investors problems. It is not too easy to get money out of China. It is different cultural, economical environment.

The Chinese investors' solution?

Gold!

As part of BRICS that is at faster pace than ever seeking independence from US dollar + as part of investors seeking a 'safe haven', Chinese are currently one of the largest buyers of gold.

Besides China, gold is bullish thanks to both BRICS AND technical stagnation and consolidation. Gold is one of the best longer term buys when looking for 'safety' (no such thing in investing, but this one is as blue chip as it gets).

I think gold, in the next two years could even DOUBLE in value.

MEDIUM TERM though, gold might retrace a bit. Macro retraces are actually quite predictable. See 2019. 1200 price. See now top 2400. Is it hard to conclude a slight retrace? How much is gain from 1200 to 2400? exactly!

Psychological, technical retrace is okay. It doesn't need to be big, as there are fundamental reasons for gold buys around August, so I'd rather take it as wait for the dip to top up, rather than short type of message. Gold macro is very bullish!

I don't know any more blue chip investment than gold:
technical (check) - had long consolidation
BRICS countries buying (check)
war uncertainty in fiat (check)
China finding safe haven in gold (check, check)
