I went through all the steps and received the message "3:execution reverted" and when I look at the Transaction hash it says Success, so I'm not sure if the recovery went through of not. Also, I will add that I was using a Wallet address for my Beacon Chain BNB tokens on the old BNB Chain Wallet, but used a receiving address on BNB Smart Chain on my new Trust wallet.....is that the source of the error? Please pass this question to the team.

After one day the problem regarding "3: execution reverted" seems to be solved for my wallet. All tokens show the status "Waiting for finalization recovery" now. Stay patient guys. Sometimes we just need to wait! 😉 Check your "Recover" Transactions on BSC Scan. If they they "Success" it normaly should have worked. Just a problem at the frontend of the Recovery Website!

Good thinking. I believe the recovery website itself has bugs and they'll hopefully improve/fix as people report them. Holding my breath now for 6 more days :) Actually had quite a lot of BNB so it was a huge concern.

Pete thanks for your encouragement. I reopened the recovery tool and now it says 'waiting for final recovery' in green and also says 6 days remaining. So I believe that the transaction that went through, was indeed the actual smart contract for the recovery. I suspect the error messages I kept getting were caused by my trying to recover again and again after the first transaction was approved.
