咁多位，我哋JHK準備去進行一啲社區活動，幫助新來嘅香港人融入英國社會，同埋爭取英國普遍社會，對香港民主運動嘅支持，而需要多啲人手。

我哋針對呢一啲需求，已經設計左一系列嘅訓練俾啲義工。如果你自己本身都係啱啱嚟到英國嘅話，相信個訓練對你自己融入英國社會亦有幫助。

有興趣參加JHK長遠嘅活動同埋社區服務，請聯絡我報名。

這封電郵除了可以幫助MP緊貼香港的最新消息, 他們在12港人事件上可以協助要求人權保障, 包括聘請私人律師, 聯絡親人; 和要求將港人送返香港受審. 另一方面亦可以向FCO施壓, 要求加強政府對中國事務政策; 譴責中國違反國際法例; 以及制裁中國及香港的主要官員及其家人等.

近日，我們留意到曼城華埠街坊商會新會長接任，並在Facebook說要將「曼城華埠街坊商會打造一支團結，有愛，有創新的團隊」。可惜，他們不但沒有就標籤參加12月12號集會的香港人為暴徒一事向參加者道歉，我們更發現該商會在新會長上任後，繼續在Facebook剷除我們的留言，一點悔意都沒有。一邊說要團結，一邊拒絕正面回應，極度荒謬及無恥。我們借這個機會，再度呼籲該商會向我們暖氣軍師，就12月12號倫敦集會標籤我們及參加者為「廢青暴徒」，公開道歉。

警方國安處早上動員逾千名警員，以涉嫌觸犯《港版國安法》中顛覆國家政權罪，在全港大搜捕至少53名民主派人士，包括港大法律學院前副教授戴耀廷、前立法會議員、多個區議會的民主派議員等。就連身在獄中的黃之鋒亦不例外，警方今早於其寓所搜查近1.5小時，同時黃之鋒於獄中遭調查問話。

國安處指出，因為民主派去年提出「35+公民投票初選計劃」，超過60萬人投票；加上戴耀廷教授早前提出的「攬炒十部曲」，企圖爭取立法會議席後不顧一切，聯手否決政府預算案，迫使特首林鄭月娥辭職，令特區政府停擺。即是，警方假設一個人「想」犯案但未有實際行動，已經覺得這個人相當危險，所以要先拘捕他。卻加之罪，何患無辭，只是製造白色恐怖的手段。

雖然國安處高級警司李桂華表示，不會向參與初選投票的市民展開刑事調查。但是，根據近日的清算行動，相信大家都預算到事情的發展。

Liu Xiaoming, who has been the Chinese ambassador to Britain since 2015, has stepped down and is due to be replaced by China’s vice-foreign minister, Zheng Zeguang. We would like to take this opportunity to congratulate ambassador Liu on his time as Chinese ambassador to Britain.

Not only is his time as ambassador a proof that Chinese diplomacy does not respect the rules of international diplomacy, he has also shown all of us that the Chinese Communist Party is a thuggish regime made up of lies. He demonstrated brilliantly the spirit of Chinese patriotism in the Andrew Marr Show on BBC One, where he dismissed footage of Uyghur Muslims blindfolded and kneeling as fake.

Additionally, he blamed the United States and other foreign powers for the Hong Kong protests, once again demonstrating the spirit of the Chinese Communist Party, that is, blaming others when things do not go their way, a rhetoric seen in the Wuhan Coronavirus pandemic. Believe it or not, the Chinese Communist Party has so far blamed Australia, Japan, the USA and Italy, perhaps even more countries for starting the virus.

Ambassador Liu also did not fail to deliver in terms of entertainment. In 2019, his official twitter account was found to have given likes to a series of pornographic posts, something that certainly most ambassadors would not do. We are sure many will remember him for this.

On a more serious note however, his replacement perhaps will not mean much in terms of UK-China relations, at the end of the day Liu was, and his replacement will be just another parrot, repeating whatever the CCP demands them to do. His replacement Zheng however, will likely be handling the BNO situation with regards to Hong Kong, perhaps taking a tough stance in relation to it.

Justitia HK will be closely monitoring the situation as it may directly affect the fate of Hongkongers, many relying on their BNOs in order to escape Chinese oppression.
Therefore we urge the UK government to keep its promises to Hongkongers.

We have finally launched the ”Solidarity of HK map” (Yellow-Blue map). Just in case if you are new here, the map is essentially a map that differentiates between Pro-Chinese Communist Party businesses (we label them as blue businesses) and Pro-Hong Kong democracy or Anti-Chinese Communist Party businesses.(we label them as yellow businesses) Within the map, we have included a variety of businesses ranging from restaurants to retail. Our hope is to eventually promote this scheme to local businesses which have no pre-established ties or connections to the Hong Kong democracy movement or anti-CCP movements. We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who provided us with the necessary information to start up this map. If you have any queries about the "Solidarity of HK map" (Yellow-Blue map), or have more information regarding potential businesses which could be included in this scheme, do not hesitate to DM us.

Hi Everyone, for those who are living in the UK, this is a kind reminder to send emails to your MPs . Good news - some of us have received replies from our MPs!

This email would remind your MPs on the current situation in HK, they can also escalate the issues to their parties to denounce the “government-appointed lawyers” and allow the 12 activists to hire their lawyers of choice; denounce the chinese government to allow the detainees to call their families and allow return from Mainland China. On the other hand, they can urge the FCO to take a stronger and more proactive stance on its China policy and condemn China’s consistent violations of international laws, as well as place “Magnitsky sanctions” such as travel bans and asset freeze on the Chinese and HK government officials as well as their families/accomplices immediately.

It has recently come to our attention that a new chairman has been appointed for the Manchester Chinatown Business Association. The new chairman has called people to support the association and to make the Manchester Chinatown Business Association ‘a united, loving and creative association.’ Unfortunately, that is far from the truth. Since the new chairman has been appointed, not only have they failed to apologise to Justitia HK for calling us rioters, they have also deleted our comments on their Facebook page, showing absolutely no sign of remorse. Therefore, we take this opportunity to kindly ask the Manchester Chinatown Business Association once again to formally apologise to us, Justitia HK for calling us ‘rioters’ with regards to the 12th December Assembly in London.

以現代人嘅角度去睇古代，會覺得古代民主制度好反智。例如古希臘雖然有民選國會，但祭師可以肆意推翻國會嘅決定，古羅馬嘅選舉可以合法買票。民主經過無數慘痛教訓發展至今，已發展出一套成熟嘅民主制度，可以有效限制權力，同時不失施政效率。
有效嘅民主必須具備下列特點：

1.投票權：
-冇可能每項政策由全體人民議定，所以要以投票選出代表人民嘅政客。由政客代表人民議政。
-邊個多票就可以當權，依種叫民粹(Populism)而非民主。咁嘅制度有機會淪為多數人嘅暴政。泰國嘅他信透過出賣2/3泰國人嘅利益，收買佔泰國人口1/3嘅農民，然而2/3嗰方無法團結對抗他信，於事佢就成功以民粹當權。

-英國首相係間選產生，即唔係由全體選民直接選出，係選民選出下議院議員，然後下議院嘅多數黨黨魁，或者執政聯盟嘅領袖，自動成為首相。間選都可以係民主，下議院議員為左贏出選舉，首相為左黨嘅利益，必需考慮民意。中國國家主席都係間選，不過間左至少6重。國家主席由全國人大選出，而全國人大由地方人大選出，再隔左省、市、縣、鎮、鄉、村等多重行政單位。仲有，中國幾乎所有選舉都有規定只可以得一個參選人，加上用賄選、DQ、威迫利誘等手段，令一般人無法參選。上層嘅人只需為權貴服務，班韭菜嘅民意係影響唔到邊個當選，相較英國國會議員直接向選民負責，中國嘅選舉唔民主。
-美國嘅選舉係直選，不過唔係一人一票。之所以有選舉人投票，係因為古代通訊不便，所以每個州舉行左選舉後，要選舉人親自去Washington D.C.匯報舉選結果，選舉人冇權違背選民意願，自已選過第個。如果美國以一人一票選總統，咁總統只需理會幾個大州嘅民意，有違「合眾國」嘅立國原意。選舉人制度令多人嘅州的確有多啲優勢，少人嘅州又唔會被忽略，更能實現民主。

2.軍權在民：Hitler係以軍事政變奪權，其後推翻民主制度。佢從來冇贏過選舉，奪權前嘅最高得票率只係得3成。1933年德國猶太人報紙社論話：「我們並不認為希特拉先生與他的夥伴在獲得期望已久的權力之後，會真的做出納粹報紙裡所說的那些行為...他們無法這樣做，因為體制中有些重要的因素可以制衡權力。」當時嘅德國猶太人同泛民一樣，信法治，冇諗過佢地嘅法治體系有好大漏洞，就係冇有效約束軍權。

二戰後歐美汲取教訓，軍權由國會掌控，軍隊只可以應對緊急情況，一場戰爭要持久打落去、或主動對其他國家出兵，必須先得到國會同意。但係泰國就冇咁嘅措施，令軍方可以好似Hitler咁以軍事政變奪權。
冇一個國家嘅民主制度係完美，民主制度仍不斷地改進中。下期會繼續講民主嘅其他必要成份。民主精神、三權分立、資訊自由、避免多數人嘅暴政、罷免權etc.)

In the morning of 6th January, the Hong Kong Police mobilised around 1000 police officers and arrested at least 53 pro-democratic activists under the National Security Law that came into effect last July. Those who were arrested range from ex-legislative council members to current district councillors. The police even searched the already detained Joshua Wong’s home.

The Office for Safeguarding National Security of the Central People’s Government in the HKSAR revealed that the arrests were made because the pro-democratic activists held a primary election in July which over 600,000 Hong Kong citizens participated. They added that these pro-democratic activists aimed to block government legislation and force Carrie Lam to resign once they were elected into the Legislative Council, putting the government on halt. It is clear that the reasons given for the arrests are only excuses made by the Chinese Communist Party to further their own interests in Hong Kong. Through the arrests, it is obvious that the Chinese Communist Party aims to get rid of all opposition voices and to rule by fear.

While the spokesmen for the Office for National Security John Lee stated that no further investigation would be conducted with regards to the 600,000 Hong Kong citizens who voted in the primaries, it is clear that the Chinese Communist Party does not stand by their words.

There is enough evidence to believe that the 600,000 Hong Kong citizens as well as many others will be targeted by the oppressive CCP in the near future, including those who were actively involved in the Anti-Extradition Law Protests in 2019. Therefore we urge the international community to pay closer attention to the situation in Hong Kong. At the same time, we hope that you can email your MPs with regards to the situation in Hong Kong in order to gain more attention.

We also hope that Hongkongers who were actively involved in the protests would consider leaving Hong Kong for safety. 中國駐英國大使劉曉明即將離職，由副外長鄭澤光接任。我哋暖氣軍師藉住呢個機會，恭喜劉曉明離職，相信鄭澤光代替劉曉明絕對唔容易。

由香港反送中，去到華為5G事件，劉曉明作為駐英國大使，展現咗比世界睇，中國共產黨喺外交上橫行霸道嘅態度。

劉曉明喺香港問題上，多次譴責「外國勢力」，更加將責任推卸俾美國，將佢哋視為香港反送中運動嘅幕後黑手。此外，佢喺英國廣播公司嘅Andrew Marr Show上，完全否認中共對維吾爾人嘅打壓，非常可恥。

提起劉曉明，不得不提Twitter事件。事緣喺2019年5月，有網民發現咗佢嘅官方Twitter帳戶，like咗幾條咸片，當中更包括腳交嘅片段。劉曉明瞬間成為中國駐英國「腳交大使」。

雖然我哋相信今次鄭澤光嘅接任對中英外交上嘅影響不大，但係由於中共喺BNO問題上好大機會會出手，所以對香港人嚟講都值得關注。

我哋暖氣軍師會繼續跟進呢件事，亦都促請英國政府守住對香港人嘅承諾。
