【🔥 埃塞克斯園大律師事務所被中國制裁後 六名新加坡成員宣布退出👩🏻‍⚖️👨🏻‍⚖️】

早前埃塞克斯園大律師事務所Essex Court Chambers，因有四名成員以個人身份對維吾爾族人權問題提供法律意見，導致整個事務所被中國制裁。

隨後他們移除了網站上相關文章，並發聲明澄清，指Alison Macdonald QC、Jackie McArthur、Naomi Hart和Lorraine Aboagye四名成員，是以個人身份提供獨立法律意見，且他們的行為是受到英國大律師標準委員會監管，該事務所並非律師行或法律實體，事務所成員均為自僱或獨立執業，重申事務所其他成員沒有參與，或是負責有關新疆問題的法律意見。

英國大律師公會主席Derek Sweeting QC則回應指，他們強烈譴責這種威脅行為，成員只是提供專業法律意見而遭受制裁，這是對法治的攻擊。

直至今日，再有六名的新加坡成員，宣布退出埃塞克斯園大律師事務所，可見中國制裁措施對事務所帶來的危機日漸加深。

【🇨🇳 中國外交部就新疆問題報復 制裁九名英國人員及四個英國組織💥】

中國外交部就新疆人權問題報復，宣布制裁英國九名人員及四個組織，指責英方「基於謊言和虛假信息」制裁中國，是違反國際法和國際關係基本準則，粗暴干涉中國內政。

因此，即日起禁止他們及其家屬入境中國領土，凍結其在華財產，及禁止中國公民及機構與其交易。

被制裁人士包括下議院外交事務專責委員會主席Tom Tugendhat、保守黨前黨魁Iain Duncan Smith、保守黨議員Neil O’Brien、上議院議員David Alton勳爵、「跨黨派國會香港小組」Tim Loughton、保守黨議員Nusrat Ghani、國際律師會人權研究所主任兼御用大律師Baroness Helena Kennedy、大律師Sir Geoffrey Nice及維吾爾專家Joanne Nicola Smith Finley。

而被制裁的英國組織則為中國研究小組China Research Group、保守黨人權委員會Conservative Party Human Rights Commission、維吾爾獨立法庭Uyghur Tribunal，以及埃塞克斯園大律師事務所Essex Court Chambers。

英國首相Boris Johnson隨後在Twitter表示，被制裁的英國公民及組織，是為受到嚴重人權侵犯的維吾爾族穆斯林提供曙光，並永遠支持他們。

遭到制裁之一的上議院議員David Alton勳爵表示，會繼續為被剝奪人權及自由的人發聲。

維吾爾專家Joanne Nicola Smith Finley也在Twitter上回應，指自己遭制裁是因為道出了新疆維吾爾族的悲劇真相，也因為她有良知。她不感到後悔，也不會因此噤聲。

而埃塞克斯園大律師事務所Essex Court Chambers在中國宣布制裁措施後，移除了網站上有關維吾爾族人權問題的文章。可見中國的反制措施對英國仍有一定程度的影響力，使部份組織或機構，無法對中國人權問題作表態，或是發表任何批評中國的言論。

英格蘭和威爾士律師協會人權委員會The Bar Human Rights Committee of England and Wales則回應指，律師在法治國家中有著極其重要的作用，不應因其專業工作而遭受制裁的威脅。中國制裁英國律師的行為，正好反映他們對於普世價值、人權和法治的蔑視。



作為香港人，經歷過這幾年，我們領悟到自由不但不是免費的，更加是可以輕易地失去的。我們呼籲自由世界的人民，聯手對抗邪惡的中國共產黨。

The Chinese Communist Party sanctioned 9 individuals and 4 organisations in the UK for ‘spreading false information’ with regards to the situation in Xinjiang.

While the majority of those who have been sanctioned have stood their ground with regards to the genocide of Uyghurs in Xinjiang, the reactions of some are extremely concerning.

Following the sanctions, Essex Court Chambers (sanctioned by the CCP) removed their article on the situation of Uyghurs from their website. This is a prime example of self-censorship which poses an enormous threat to the free world. This case also demonstrates how the CCP asserts its influence overseas in its ‘stealth war’ against the free world.

The UK, being part of the free world, has the responsibility to defend the fundamental values of freedom and democracy. This is not done through any kind of noble act, but rather is done through your participation in civil society and politics by exercising your voting rights, your freedom of speech and expression, and most importantly to educate yourself about current affairs. We must not bow down to the thuggish Chinese Communist Party.

As Hongkongers, we know that freedom is something that could be lost and should not be taken for granted. We learnt it the hard way, and we urge the members of the free world to stand their ground against the totalitarian Chinese Communist Party.

用左£534.26舉行12Dec嘅集會，當中包括玫瑰花牌等道具、文宣影印、購買音響、GoFund me嘅行政費等等
淨低£287用作將來舉行活動之用

We have received £821 donation, include £811 from GoFundMe and £10 cash donation
£534.26 was spent for the rally on 12Dec, including buying items such as rose and wreath, printing, purchase of audio equipment and GoFundMe admin charge.
£287 is left for supporting the activities in the future.

Civilians started taking to the street and workers going on strike to express their anger in response to the coup overturning the elected civilian government led by Suu Kyi and arrests of her supporters by the military.

Tear gas, batons, rubber bullets, water cannons and eventually live rounds bullets were what they were met with. Protestors' Blood has been shed and as of the 8th of March it's reported that over 100 people have been killed by the military. The military has waged war on its citizens. Yet, the protestors are not backing down and have adopted tactics commonly seen during the movement in Hong Kong, because they love their country so much that they are willing to sacrifice so much for it.

All these tragic scenes reminds me of the democratic movement in Hong Kong since the 2019, where we have been fighting for the same causes. We have been longing for true democracy and justice, where the will of the people are being respected and opinions can be expressed with censorship from the government. We are doing these because we really love our home, Hong Kong.

What have been happening in Myanmar is clearly a humanitarian crisis, where its people are suffering. They deserve our attention to the least and humanitarian aid from the free world. Activists around the world who fight for freedom should not stay silence and should put on a united front against any form of tyranny. An attack on democracy in one country is an attack on the free world.

It is not about whether Suu Kyi is responsible for genocide and corrupted. It is about whether the the will of the Myanmar people and the democratic system have been respected.

關於BNO Visa申請事宜

有鑑於某些港人到達英倫後因經濟困難無法支付BNO Visa申請費用個案近日於網上成為熱論，並藉此公開相關通過國會議員與多方遊說並向內政部反映後得到的官方回复。

如果任何已經通過Leave Outside the Rules(LOTR)身份而因經濟困難無法支付相關費用者，按內政部主管香港小組回复可考慮視個別情況特別恩卹賦予一次性為期12個月的LOTR延期。如真正因財困導致無法申請的港人可考慮盡快向內政部查詢申請：

1. 由於正常情況申請在英國本土申請LOTR會產生相應費用，請先註冊賬號並按相關要求遞交文件申請費用減免fee waiver：

[身在英國心在港]
47名參與民主派初選的人士早前因涉嫌串謀顛覆國家罪而被捕，案件於昨日在西九龍裁判法院提堂。

昨日英國當地下午時間, 有香港人於倫敦，曼徹斯特，雷丁等地自發起聲援香港集會，逾過百人和許志峯到場支持。及後警察到場，所有人和平離開。集會發起人表示，他只是在英國生活兩個月; 過往在香港的他曾經跟譚得志(’快必') 合作。

除集會人士之外，多名在英港人自發穿著黑衫以表示支持。

JHK在此表示感謝發送黑衫照的同路人。

It has come to Justitia Hong Kong’s attention that rally has been called up to support Hong Kong, where democratic figures were arrested and charged with “conspiracy to commit subversion” (credit to Hong Kong Police Force for translating it themselves as the National Security Law does not have official English version up to now).

Even though national lockdown is still a thing, we do encourage Hongkongers residing in UK to wear in black to participate.

The current lockdown policy stipulates citizens are only allowed to exercise with household (or support bubble)while maintaining 2 metres apart. Also, citizens should not travel outside local area.

In light of this, we suggest you to exercise or purchase groceries in black tomorrow.

Final words, Justitia Hong Kong would like to call upon participants to send us the photos of wearing black so we can voice out to the world that Hongkongers living in UK would never forget.

上年LOTR一出，很多媽媽已先跋頭籌帶了仔仔女女到英國展開新生活，我怎麼知道呢，因為亦恰巧加入了一些移英媽媽群組，有一個媽媽熱心私訊告知一二，解答了心中的困擾，也隨之鼓起決心出發。
初到步，很多事要面對解決，有幸當地有朋友，及網上很多同路人解答疑難，順利租屋報學校。在此不詳細說明，因為很多人也在網上教路，如真的遇上問題，往後再詳談。
眼見很多人開了專頁，分享生活點滴，也替他們開心，心想他們真是如脫胎換骨，在異地不再收收埋埋，人人KOL 和YOUTUBER 上身，當中感激分享實用資料及有趣見聞，亦有一種暖流，感覺在異地的自己，不是孤單無助，可惜，當中亦不乏有些人在發災難財，對此感覺憤怒及失望。
阻人搵食有如殺人父母，那麼在人走難時，因他們的不安而找著數，那怎麼計?有時見到真是不恥他們名為幫香港人，實質搵香港人笨，什麼不吃人血饅頭，但正正吃得滋味無窮。

在此不公開什麼PAGE 什麼人許，只是提一提各位同路人，英移是大舉動，但不必慌張，關關難過關關過，在網上很多趁機淘利之徒，亦有很多有心的香港人英國人真的無私幫助大家，多問多搜集資料，
報學校、申請NHS，這些不要付錢假手於人，說什麼幫你申請，這一切本來就是免費，本來就可以自己上網申請，不明白可以多問，自己的資料及私隱亦要好好保護。
在此希望大家真是能夠互相幫助，同舟共濟，自私淘利之心可有，但此刻請不要對著一起來英的同路人，有時自己吃了人血饅頭也不知道，但請時刻本著人幫你你幫人之心，在這近兩年香港發生的事，還不夠我們反思嗎?還要過著利字當頭的生活嗎?

CRPH Supporters UK, a Burmese expatriate group based in the UK, is organizing a demonstration in London on 31st March against the Myanmar military coup.
Justitia Hong Kong is calling for Hong Kong people to join us in the protest in solidarity and to show support to Myanmar.

The demonstration will commence outside the UK Houses of Parliament at 11.30 am on the day, after which the crowd will proceed to the Chinese Embassy for another demonstration at 1 pm.

Participants are reminded to wear face masks and maintain a social distance of 2 metres.

英格蘭地區由今日起正式取消「居家令」，兩個不同家庭或最多6人可以在戶外聚會；戶外運動設施亦重新開放。全國各地解封政策略有不同，詳情請參考 www.gov.uk/coronavirus

對於封城措施能否如期放寛，政府一直強調要視乎數據而非日期。盡管近日牛津／阿斯利康（Oxford-AstraZeneca）疫苗的安全性以及印度生產批次延誤一度引起 「疫苗接種計劃進度」會否受影響的疑慮，但隨著歐洲藥品管理局公布的調查結果顯示阿斯利康疫苗安全有效；以及首批莫德納（Moderna）疫苗定於4月抵達英國，民眾將可如期接種第2劑疫苗。首相約翰遜亦於日前確認英格蘭封城措施將如期放寬。

英國自1月起推動大規模疫苗接種以來，新增確診人數顯著回落。截至昨日（3月28日）已有超過3千萬民眾接種第一劑疫苗，佔成年總人口57％。而單日新增確診及死亡數字亦大幅回落至3,862宗及19人。

英國嘅母親節通常會叫"Mothering Sunday"，每年嘅日子會跟隨基督教曆法嘅改變，年年都唔一樣，今年就係3月14號。大家入鄉隨俗，今個星期日就一齊過母親節喇！

緬甸軍方發動政變，拘捕昂山素姬及其內閣官員，驅使民眾走上街頭抗爭。緬甸嘅街頭染上左人民嘅鮮血，目前(3月8日)已有超過60人被軍隊殺害。人民即使面對催淚彈、警棍、橡膠彈、水砲以至實彈，都毫不退縮，甚至效法香港人嘅抗爭策略。因為緬甸人知道自由嘅可貴，為左守護緬甸不惜壯烈犧牲。

緬甸一幕幕嘅慘劇令我諗起香港係2019年嘅時代革命，人民因為同樣嘅原因而戰。我地都對真正嘅民主自由渴求已久，期待有一個尊重人民意願、聆聽人民訴求嘅政府。我地咁做純粹出於對香港嘅愛。

緬甸人民所經歷嘅苦難係一場人道災難。佢地值得自由世界嘅人嘅關注同援助。全世界追求自由嘅人都唔應該對佢地視而不見，而係同對抗暴政嘅人民企係同一陣線。破壞一個地方嘅民主，等同破壞全世界嘅民主。

我地應該先放底昂山素姬嘅種族滅絕及其腐敗嘅行徑，將目光放係人民嘅意願同民主有冇得到尊重。

英國民眾期待已久嘅日子終於來到！由今日 （3月8日）起將按首相約翰遜 （Boris Johnson）形容為“one way road to freedom”的4階段計劃逐步解封。


數百萬中小學生經歷兩個多月「在家學習」後，終於可以再次回校上課。師生們除了面對追趕學習進度的壓力外， 亦需按政府規定執行一些額外的防疫措施：包括中學生需在校進行3次自願檢測，以及在班房內必需配戴口罩等。


提提大家，居家令（stay home）目前仍未解除，外出時必需有法例容許的理由，並應注意相關的人數規定及保持社交距離。

近日，有本地傳媒報道關於中共對英國教育制度的滲透。該報道揭發到有中國企業收購英國傳統名校，擴大中共在英國的影響力。事實上，在英國，已經有17所學校已被這些企業收購，而且這個數字，因武漢肺炎疫情，有上升的趨勢。

這樣的滲透，無論是對英國的學術自由或教育制度，都造成極大的威脅。當香港教育制度及校園內的學術自由已經淪陷的時候，我們在英國更加有責任阻止同樣事情發生。我們借這個機會，奉勸所有有計劃來英國，抑或已經在英國的香港人，為子女選擇學校的時候，做足資料搜集，避免這些「紅」校。

It has come to our attention that there has been reports on the infiltration of the Chinese Communist Party in the UK. Indeed, the CCP has been extending its influence in the UK in all sectors including the education system. According to the Dailymail, 17 schools in the UK are already owned by Chinese companies, and the number is set to increase due to the Wuhan Virus pandemic which hit schools particularly hard. Among the 17 schools, 9 are owned by firms whose founders are amongst the senior ranks of the Chinese Communist Party.

This is concerning not only to Hongkongers but more importantly to locals who are less aware of the evil intents of the CCP. As we have recently seen in Hong Kong, where the freedom of expression in schools and universities are suppressed, it is not an overstatement to say that this infiltration of the CCP is a real threat to the UK. For Hongkongers who are coming over to the UK, make sure you are aware of the situation, and choose wisely when you are finding schools for your kids.

[British Hong Kongers in solidarity with Hong Kong]

47 people who participated in the primary elections of the pro-democracy party were arrested earlier on suspicion of conspiring to subvert the country. The case was brought before the West Kowloon Magistrates' court yesterday.

On Monday (1st of March) afternoon in the UK, British Hong Kongers initiated a rally in London, Manchester, Reading and other places in support of the Hong Kong political prisoners.

Over a hundred people came to support the London rally. At the end, the police arrived and everyone left peacefully. The organizer stated that he had arrived UK two months ago. He used to work with Tan Takchi ('Fast Beat') in Hong Kong in the past.

In addition to the Hong Konger who attended the rally, many people in Britain and Hong Kong wore black shirts to show their support.

JHK hereby expresses its gratitude to the fellow Hong Kongers who sent the black shirt photos. May good people be safe forever.

[黑色洋紫荊ALL BLACK EVERY THING]

暖氣軍師撐香港留意到有人發起聲援香港民主派人士被控以「顛覆國家政權」罪嘅黑衫活動。雖然英國封城措施仍然未解除，但我哋同樣鼓勵身處英國嘅香港人明天身穿黑衫以作出表態。

根據現行嘅政策，市民喺進行戶外活動時，只能夠和家人或者另外一位social bubble同行，並且需要保持最少兩米距離。另外，活動嘅場地亦不應遠離自己住所。

有見及此，我哋鼓勵各位居英香港人謹守英國法例，明天身穿黑衫做戶外活動，添置生活日用品等。

另外，暖氣軍師撐香港亦希望你哋著黑衫嘅照片send俾我哋，等我哋話俾大家知居英港人仍然心繫香港。

相信好多喺英國讀緊大學嘅香港人，因為武漢疫情令到大學課程受阻。雖然有網上授課，但係質素遠遠比不上實制課堂。而且國安法令到香港人嘅處境比較尷尬，令到好多學生冇辦法defer。

有人就draft咗封信，係可以寄俾你嗰間大學，要求大學「回水」。希望可以幫到一啲過咗嚟讀書嘅手足。

Due to the Wuhan Coronavirus pandemic (aka Covid-19), most university courses have shifted entirely online. However, despite the huge gap in quality and experience, universities have not provided with any sort of refund or discount to students. In particular, it has come to our attention that there are Hong Kong students attending UK universities who are in a tough situation whereby the threat of the National Security Law in Hong Kong is preventing them to head home. What this means with regards to university fees is that these Hong Kong students who have been taken away their choice to return home and in turn the choice to defer, should be eligible for a substantial refund in tuition fees.

We have attached a letter that you could send to your university, demanding a substantial refund. You are welcome to alter or edit the letter to your liking.

新年快樂！Happy Lunar New Year!
上年，香港人共同經歷沉重既一年。除咗言論自由不斷受到剝削，更利用武漢肺炎疫情為由，對香港市民既基本人權進行恣意破獲。雖然有著社會上的不景氣、政治上的打壓、生活上的壓迫，都無阻香港人爭取民主、公義既決心。
展望來年，香港人更要自強不息、苦中作樂，努力裝備自己，係各自既領域為共同目標而盡展所長，並且互相扶持、包容、勉勵，正如歌詞所指「迷霧裡最遠處吹來號角聲」，我們要成為那號角聲，響徹全球，燃點希望。
最後，不分化、不割蓆、不篤灰，香港人加油。


Last year was undoubtedly a hard year for Hongkongers. Not only has the freedom of speech been eroded, the Chinese Communist Party has also trampled on the basic rights of Hongkongers by using the pandemic as an excuse in the past year. However, the advancing oppression of the Chinese Communist Party has not wavered the will of Hong Kong people to fight for freedom and democracy.
For the coming year, Hongkongers must be resilient as ever, helping and encouraging each other to overcome these dark times. As the lyrics of Glory to Hong Kong, 'Through the mist a solitary trumpet flares', Hongkongers shall act as the solitary trumpet flares, bringing hope.
Finally, do not split, Hongkongers stay strong.
