Collectible username for a bot
On the Fragment platform, it is now possible to obtain a collectible username for a Telegram bot. Such a username may not contain the "bot" suffix at the end.
The option to set a collectible username for a bot will cost users 5,000 TON (about $11,000). This one-time fee does not include the purchase of the username itself, which must be paid for separately.
In addition, a bot with a collectible username can use custom emojis. There is no other way for bots to access this feature for now.

Resetting login email
Users report that the Telegram app for Android now allows you to reset the email address previously specified for receiving one-time authorization codes.
According to the screenshots, Telegram Premium subscribers can reset their email instantly, while for other users, the email will be reset within 7 days.

Elon Musk has officially admitted that he is working on his AI - he has named the neural network TruthGPT.
Details are scarce, but Musk described TruthGPT as "an AI that seeks the truth and tries to understand the nature of the universe."
Well, the main difference is that it won't want to destroy humans in the future. TruthGPT is rumored to be trained on Twitter, so there are doubts about the last thesis.

I can foresee a future of people with old computers switching to Linux or using their current Windows, while others who are rich buy ultra chonky gaming PCs to just run Windows...
(Windows XP, Longhorn, 7 & 10 were the best imo....)
I was getting an average 50% RAM usage in a computer having 8GB RAM....in Windows 11 22h2 builds...

Shared folders, a selection of wallpapers for individual chats, and more
Telegram for Android, iOS, MacOS, and Unigram were updated to version 9.6. Telegram Desktop was updated to version 4.8.
Share chat folders
• Create invitation links for chat folders to quickly share dozens of chats with other users.
• Users can add a folder and join all the chats in it with a single tap.
• Multiple invitation links can be created for each folder with access to different sets of chats.
• You can add any public chats to folders as well as those private groups and channels where you have administrator rights to invite other users.
• If new chats are added to the public folder and the invitation link is updated, participants will be prompted to join the added chats.
• You can create a folder under Settings > Chat Folders.
Choose a wallpaper for individual chats
• Use your favorite photos or color combinations as the wallpaper for individual private chats.
• Your chat partner can view the new wallpaper and set it to the same or choose a different one, if desired.
• To set a custom wallpaper for your chat, simply click on the three-dot icon and select "Change wallpaper" from the dropdown that appears.
More options for bots
• Bots with web apps can now be launched from any chat type.
• If bot supports this feature, the web app will be accessible via a direct link or by mentioning the bot's name in any chat on Telegram (inline mode).
• Web applications launched by a group can now offer collaborative or game modes to its members.
Interface improvements
• To postpone sending a message until the chat partner is online, just click the send button.
• When creating a group, it is no longer necessary to immediately add members to it.
• On recent iPhones, a new animation has been added while swiping a user, group, or channel profile (the profile picture will slide up and hide in the dynamic island area).
Other new features
• Ability to set bot's public address with fragment, including links without "-bot" at the end(for a fee).
• Quick scrolling in the attachment menu by dragging the date block down (as in "General Media").
• In small groups with threads, you can now see when your posts have been read by other members.
• Quickly change some bot settings without the help of @BotFather.
• Ability to prohibit all users from adding you to groups and channels.
• Ability to mute or enable notifications for all chats at once in a selected folder.
• Ability to disable media scrolling with a tap.
• Ability to mark read all chats in a folder (now on Android).
• Redesigned media viewer and updated media counter (Android).

Bot Usernames on Fragment
Recent changes in the client-side source code of the Fragment platform which we recently discovered, indicate the possibility of being able to assign usernames purchased on the Fragment platform to bots. There might also be an extra fee.
Earlier, changes in the translation strings of Telegram for macOS indicated the possibility of being able to assign multiple usernames to a single bot.
