Good Luck to All those who are attending Phase II tomorrow. Don't panic if the paper is difficult; it is for everyone. The more calm and composed you are, the better your chances are to clear this exam.

Never think that I have to score this much anyhow and make guesses; rather, it should be giving your best.

One last suggestion for Descriptive: They are not expecting you to be a professor in subjects, but they are expecting you to have an understanding of grammar, so stick to the word limit, make a balance between quality and quantity, and don't make too many grammar and spelling mistakes.

Rule 176 vs Rule 267: What Govt agrees to, what Opp demands

The opening day of the Monsoon Session of Parliament witnessed disruptions due to disagreements between the government and the Opposition on the format of the discussion regarding the Manipur situation. The Opposition sought a discussion under Rule 267 to express the sense of the House, while the government proposed a discussion under Rule 176.

Rule 176 enables any member of the Rajya Sabha to raise a short-duration discussion on a matter of urgent public importance. Such discussions are limited to a specific time frame of two-and-a-half hours, as specified under Rule 176.

The member intending to raise the discussion must provide a written notice to the Secretary-General, clearly specifying the matter to be discussed.

Rule 267 deals with the suspension of rules and is used when any member wishes to move that a particular rule be suspended in its application to a motion related to the business listed before the Council on that day.

To suspend a rule under Rule 267, any member requires the Chairman’s consent.

About SCORES Platform:

It is a web based centralized grievance redress system of SEBI that was launched in June 2011.

SCORES enables investors to lodge and follow up their complaints and track the status of redressal of such complaints online from the above website from anywhere.

It doesn’t deal with complaints against companies including Unlisted/delisted companies, sick companies or a company where a moratorium order is passed, or where the company is struck off by the Registrar of Companies (RoC).

Tips for Descriptive Writing for IRDAI Exam 2023

IRDAI exam 2023 will be held soon and in Phase II Exam there will be three Paper of 100 marks each based on Descriptive English and Descriptive Answer writing.

In IRDAI exam you need to write descriptive through Pen and Paper based on the Questions available on your computer screen.

Following are things you need to consider while writing Descriptive in this Particular exam.
1) Neat and legible handwriting
2) Simple language without any grammatical and spelling mistakes
3) Use of diagrams, flowcharts, maps to break the monotonous writing
4) Proper spacing between words and lines
5) Highlighting the keywords in your answer
6) Use of appropriate Sub-headings (Except Introduction and Conclusion)
7) Writing answers in small paragraphs or points
8) Use of single pen (Either blue or black) throughout your test
9) Avoiding the frequent striking of words/paragraphs.
