May God grant all of you relief, health, and salvation in these circumstances, through the intercessions of Saint Basil the Great, Saint Sylvester of Rome, and the Most Holy Theotokos.
Читать полностью…Thank you for the kind words, i also want to meet fellow Orthodox friends and to talk with people.
Читать полностью…Hello, Chris. Nobody is going to reject you for belonging to a different group. The Orthodox world has become somewhat fractured, but we are all generous enough to appreciate each other. So, you needn't be worried about telling everyone in the group who your bishop is or what Synod. I'm with an Old Calendar group, and we all get along very well--everyone here is okay with that.
Читать полностью…Regardless of the autocorrects big O or small o, the Orthodox church is important and i value it.

Please can we ask for your prayers. my wife’s mum Steph is really not well mentally and is saying terrible things. We turn even more so to Christ in this difficult time. Please intercede for her and us as my prayers are so hindered🕊️❤️
Читать полностью…We believe that the Church is a communion with brethren are part of the Body of Christ and not just based upon affirmation, as I once did myself.
Читать полностью…Ahh ok, I don’t have anything against the old calendarists (I mean I’m not even within the Orthodox Church of any kind, since I’m currently an inquirer, so I don’t think there’s room for me to judge at all), although typically old calendarists and the rest of orthodoxy are typically separated and not in the same group, so I was bit curious there
Читать полностью…Wait, I don’t mean to sound rude or anything, although when you say “old calendar group”, do you mean like old calendarist? Or you just follow the old calendar?
Читать полностью…Yes, but all Orthodox Christians belong to a particular local Church/jurisdiction. You were asked what jurisdiction you belong to.
