Turns out that the Soviets had airships as well. This one is flying above the northern Urals, with the inscription above reading "Ural Pathfinder". The city under it is Sverdlovsk.
In 1937 it broke the record of staying in air the longest, held by Graf Zeppelin. The new record was set at 130 hours and 27 minutes.
The airship crashed in 1938. As for the Soviet Airship Program, it was closed in 1940.

I missed it, but recently the channel received a gift! The gift-giver sent it anonymously, thus I will refrain from naming him, unless he decides he wants to be named.
The gift in question is a birthday cake, with the message "🌹👋".
It's sad that I didn't receive a notification for some reason and found about it only because I was digging through channel statistics and settings.
Now, telegram says that this cake is "not unique" and that it is "merely" 1 in 500 000. But telegram is wrong! The cake is special! While there are many like it, this one is mine!

The Isolator Helmet (1925)
Made by Hugo Gernsback, an inventor and editor, who you probably known best from the Hugo Awards if you are into science fiction.
You'd think it is a type of a gas mask or, perhaps, a plague mask of some sort, but no. It was made in order to reduce noise and distractions.
Only 11 were ever made.

AUTO UNION DKW-MOTORRÄDER
German Motorcycle magazine, created in 1903, exists even to this day.
DKW stands for Dampfkraftwagen (steam-power car) and is one of the four companies that formed Auto Union, which included Audi. The four rings do give that away.
The motorcycle pictured is the DKW NZ500, produced from 1939 to 1941.
Also note the 88mm Flak 36 gun in the background.

How are people surprised that the trillions that appeared out of thin air, disappeared in thin air?

Here's a tip to all of you — want to invest? Buy bonds, not stocks.
"B-but the ROI on bonds is lower! B-but my wheel options strategy!" Oh yeah? How is your ROI on stocks doing right now?
Here's the thing — I've never seen a stock go up to infinity, but I've seen it go down to zero. And when it inevitably crashes down and burns, bondholders are paid before stockholders.

It looks like the Russians predicted the Tesla car design.
It is based on the picture "The Blue Boy" painted around 1770 by Thomas Gainsborough. The figure is probably Jonathan Buttall, the son of a wealthy hardware merchant.
🔄 As for the "updated" version, the furthest I can trace it back to was a cover for the sci-fi book ReVisions (2004). The cover artists are Kenn Brown and Chris Wren.
