Yes, #Bitcoin dominance usually increases before the bull season in crypto markets, and this can be perceived by many investors as the beginning of the bear season.
However, this situation can actually be considered as one of the preparation stages of the bull season.
There was a similar scenario in the fourth quarter of 2020.
When Bitcoin dominance increases, investors whales and many project owners generally turn to #BTC , seeing the main currency as a safe haven.
#Altcoins may lose value or follow a stagnant trend during this period.
However, when the bull season begins, altcoins may also rise along with #BTC , and even the yield rates in altcoins may be higher.
So, while it is true that the rise in #Bitcoin dominance has negatively impacted #alts in the short term, it could actually be a sign of a larger bull season. 🫡

If Microstrategy does succeed in this goal of accumulating another $42B of #Bitcoin, that means they'd be buying an average of ~$1.16B of #BTC per month.
At the current #Bitcoin price of $72K, that would mean they'd be adding an additional ~583K #Bitcoin to their already existing 252K #Bitcoin stack.
At that point, Microstrategy would be holding ~835K #Bitcoin which accounts for ~4% of the total supply.
For reference, the total net inflows on the Bitcoin ETFs so far have seen $23.3B. So this is essentially 2x that but over 3 years in total.
Of course prices will fluctuate and a different average buying price will mean a different total #Bitcoin holdings after all the buying is done😂
