Thought I'd make a comprehensive breakdown of one game since Sundays are always hectic with tons of early action.
Cappers:
Just one capper who I was looking forward to (SFC) has Giants +3.5. I had high hopes for him, but he's not living up to them. Just 2-3 this NFL season.
Yes, there's also fivestar on Bengals but it's not a golden whale and he's been cold lately so I don't care.
There's also our Unders specialist (SFC2) who cashed on GB/AZ under earlier. And under looks good here because of SNF trends.
Today's trends:
Favorites are 8-3 ATS today
Overs are 7-2-1 today
Hard to back the favorite and the over when there's so many favs and overs.
Historically, SNF games are 20-7 to the UNDER since the start of last season and 5-0 to the UNDER this season. Favorites are 13-14 ATS since the start of last season and 3-2 ATS this season.
My two cents: I don't like the Giants here at first glance. I think the spread should be larger. My though process was "they pulled off an upset last week, Bengals should've won their last game but blew it — Giants are cool, Bengals suck — no value in the Giants here". Initially I wanted to tail SFC here, but I'll watch how the game goes and if anything, I'll do a live bet. As I was writing this, the spread moved to +/- 4 from +/- 3.5.
What I will bet is UNDER 46.5 (-113 on Stake) — SNF under trends + SFC2.
