The Diamondbacks will be on the road to take on the Kansas City Royals in game 1 of this series tonight. RHP Yilber Diaz will be on the mound for the snakes & LHP Cole Ragans will take the ball for the Royals.
The Diamondbacks are 6-2 in their last 8 games & have been at their best offensively when facing LHP’ing. They are batting .277 with an OPS of .765 this year against lefties.
Cole Ragans has been good for KC this year, but he is just 4-3 with an ERA of 3.49 at home, not terrible, but certainly not spectacular. When looking at his most recent starts, he pitched well against Boston & Colorado on the road, but in his last start at home against Cleveland, he went just 4.2 IP, surrendering 5 ER’s off 6 Hits.
Ragans was also on the All Star team this year. Giving him less of a break as some of the other players. In combination with his last performance & overall lack lusterless at home, I think we see another poor start from Ragans at home tonight.
I like the Diamondbacks to get a win in the opener of this series behind Yilber Diaz, who has pitched well in his 2 starts this year. Diaz has gone 6 IP in each of the 2 starts, as well as surrendering just 4 Hits & 1 ER in each of those starts.

Let's talk some more about days of the week splits. I've just finished adding last year's data on Analytics Capper PODs and Pardon My Pick whale plays so now we have a good amount of their picks tracked.
What can I say about PMP and AC. PMP is good at NFL, NCAAF and NCAAB. AC PODs are only decent in the NFL, other than that his PODs are dogshit. If you’re a daily report channel subscriber, you can see detailed stats in our spreadsheet.
About the new day of the week sheet. Everything that is highlighted doesn’t mean that it should blindly tailed or faded. The main thing is to see the highlighted cappers before getting to assessing cappers’ plays. Some time in the beginning of the day or before majority of cappers release their plays. And from there we can add more filters - we can see what league / bet type / odds a capper has and decide if the play has any value.
Not saying that this tool is a magic stick to solve all our problems. But it’s another helpful sheet that will only get better over time.
And let me briefly show how I would use it on the example of Mondays.
#NL - 3-0 on Mondays, but his recent behavior has been questionable. However he’s said he’s back to normal - there was just one play yesterday which cashed.
#CSP - on the contrary, Mondays aren’t going well. He’s been hot for a while now, so I’d think twice today. Might just lay it off.
#PP - 22-7 on Mondays, don’t see why not to tail.
#EP - 19-8 on Mondays, plus he’s coming off a losing streak. Would be great if his pick will match with #PP.
#TPD - 35-23: might be an option if it’s an over/under.
#vegasmira - 22-24: possible fade?

Hey everyone! One question: where did Madcapped picks go? I know some cappers delete their losses when they're down bad but everything was great here and he went 2-1 yesterday. That's just strange.
Other than that everything is pretty much the same — winners win, losers lose. Golden Gamblers whale cashed again - now 9-3 run. Trapper Intel max NRFI hits again - his NRFI plays are great.
