actually u can take any custom rom without gapps, but device tree devs often dont mind about some shitty blobs(e.g. mlipay), so better wold be to build on ur own..

Another aspect to for being "Googleless" is to save on bandwidth/data. I live in a poor service area, and buy my data. It used to piss me off to no end the amount of updating and data sent with Google on my phone. Especialy apps I would never use anyway. With Google on your phone when you do a web search, you wait forever with my data speeds for Google to get it's info so it can "craft" personalized ads to send. Google doesn't care how long you wait for your search, it gets it's share of the data first, then it allows you to get your search, if you don't have to reload the page by then. #$%@ Google!

Syncing google contacts... Let's think this one through. You obviously haven't been around before the launch of Google Play in March 2012... Back in the day it was called Android Market and it was a bag of crap. Almost anyone i knew just side loaded their apps.commoun practice back in the day. There were also no contact syncing so what we would normally do ,we would just save a copy of the contacts on the external SD card (a .vcf copy). Unlike other retarded systems,(I'm looking at you IOS) ANDROID ALLOWS FOR EASY IMPORT/EXPORT of contacts... It's always been the case. Now, unless you are a multi national company who every hour ,every minute gets a new contact from users, clients and so on, THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO NEED TO SYNC those contacts. You can simply import those contacts from your external SD card everytime you reinstall or flash a new operating system. Now, getting apps from the play store. There is something call free open source. And a place called F-droid. You go there and download the aurora play store ( https://f-droid.org/en/packages/com.aurora.store/ ) which will give you access to both paid and free apps from the play store. Before the apparition of the free open source stores like Yalp and Aurora we used to use the RACCOON APK DOWNLOADER. Which was freaking amazing . Today, it's gotten even better . With proper German seriosity , the guy improved his app untill it morphed in a thing s beauty . It now can do amazing things... See for yourself. https://raccoon.onyxbits.de/

I know it's best to build my own build, but I don't have the resources to do it.

I have two more questions.
My phone is a Little f1.. I see that the last update is from April 20... does that mean that the work on this device is finished?
And the second ... I have seen that only weighs 500MB, which makes me think that comes very clean ROM, so it is to be welcomed.
I have not seen in any side if it needs fw or fw+vendor.. can tell me which of these two is the option and that version?

Hello to all.

I was looking for an alternative to LineageOS that was not the typical rom that only focuses on customization... I'm looking for something more respectful of privacy, where unnecessary blobs, google system apps or other intrusive ones are eliminated.

Can anyone tell me what privacy features this rom has?

Same here buddy. Those incessant updates that could not be stopped ... I used to travel to places like Africa ,Middle East ,India ,$ri Lanka and so on... And it was soul crashing. You only realise just how nasty GAPPS are when you are on a really low bandwidth ... Sometimes the update they would push would not play nice ... And you were screwed as you could not roll back... i had to learn to use Raccoon and keep on my external SD card the last three versions for each app i had on my phone , in effect ending up with my own private portable play store... afterwards it was way easier... whenever some app woould play nasty i could just roll back to the previous version..Raccoon APK downloader was the only thing that saved my bacon... Having the possibility to do a full update with Raccoon while you still had the bandwidth before you deploy so you can have access to those apps and be able to share the or install them EVEN WITHOUT INTERNET CONNECTION, is priceless... 😁 Some people do not know there are places where bandwidth really cost money ... A lot . Peoples give toping up gifts for data and broadband... And some people do not understand just how expensive data can be.. same like Phoenix if you travel a lot you learn to hate google , and eventually you will adapt, learn and if you are old enough to remember how to do it, you just de-google your phone. (Less need these days since the apparition of the custom ROM... ) Vanilla build rocks.

It was a long paragraph, but I think it was needed. People seem to have forgotten that google play store is not really necessary... To be honest ,most of the comms apps work without GAPPS... Whatsapp , facebook telegram , facebook messenger, last time I checked, Viber too. Skype is very happy without GAPPS, even the bloody Tiktok works without it. Waze, google maps, google photos, calendar and so on are perfectly happy without... Lots of aps out there don't really need gapps. But at leadt 90% seem to have forgotten that.
