This week in Rome they opened the tomb of Cardinal Gregorio Pietro XV (1895-1971) and they found his body intact. He was a Roman Catholic cardinal and a Patriarch of the Armenian Catholic Church from 1937 to 1962. On September 12, 2024, the incorruptible body of the Cardinal was transported from Rome to Beirut.
The 76-year-old body looks like is 33-year-old.

Church on fire - priest saves the Blessed Sacrament at the last minute
When his church caught fire, a priest in northern France ran into the burning building and saved the Blessed Sacrament. ‘The fire brigade accepted that I go into the church to save the sacrament,’ said Rev Sébastien Roussel. ‘I was able to save the Blessed Sacrament from the flames and bring it into the cathedral!’
The church in Saint-Omer burned to the ground. The authorities are considering arson. A man born in 1985 was taken into custody. He has already attracted attention for similar offences in the past.

GERMANY - A Catholic church in Saxony-Anhalt auctioned off for 163,000 euros along with the property and rectory.
The church has been deconsecrated since 2020 and is no longer used for religious purposes. The anonymous buyer was not present in person, but had submitted a bidding order in advance. However, the new owner is now far from being allowed to use the church for everything.

The body of St Teresa of Ávila, a Doctor of the Church and one of the most important mystics of the Catholic Church, has remained uncorrupted almost 500 years after her death.
The Diocese of Ávila has announced that the body of St Teresa of Ávila was found uncorrupted when the coffin was opened. "Today the tomb of St Teresa was opened and we have confirmed that it is in the same condition as when it was last opened in 1914".

Syria: A Large Statue of Our Lady on a Mountain 60 Metres High
Belgian-born Father Daniel Maes, 85, from Mar Yakub, Qâra, Syria, wrote a letter on 16 August:
On 12 August, a large statue of Our Lady of the East was erected on a 60 metre high mountain west of Homs.
It is widely believed that Our Lady unites all Syrians to Jesus Christ.

BREAKING: 1 Million Muslims in Iran Have This Year Turned to Christ as 50,000 Mosques Closed
There was a widespread view that Islam was a lost cause for Christian missionaries. However, a change is apparently also taking place in the Muslim world: more and more people are turning away from Islam and towards Christianity.
A million Muslims have accepted Christ in Iran as tens of thousands of mosques in the Islamic country have closed, according to reports on the ground and multiple ministries in the region. In February, Mohammad Abolghassem Doulabi, a senior cleric in Iran, revealed that 50,000 of the nation's 75,000 mosques had closed because of a substantial drop in attendance.
