Went to a Serbian bookstore today. Asked where the English books are. They showed me 3 TIMES noting that they also had a huge selection of books translated to russian..😕

Taxis in Sarajevo are complete madness. Yesterday I went to the hammam, and afterward I really didn't want to take the bus home. I asked the receptionist to call me a taxi. It was a Saturday evening and it was drizzling. She had to make about five calls until she found a taxi company willing to give me a ride. The taxi parked on the other side of a very busy street. And while I was trying to cross the street in an unauthorized place, I saw some woman trying to steal my taxi!
Luckily, the taxi driver realized he wasn't there for her. And yes, I really enjoyed the hammam; it's the best kind of spa. The Bosnian one is good, but I still can't forget the one Dasha and I had in Istanbul.

Did you know that 1 euro equal 1.95 Bosnian marks and 1.95 Bulgarian lev?
Not a coincidence. Both currencies used to be fixed 1:1 to the German mark.
When euro replaced the mark, the old rate stayed.

So, friends, if you saw my stories yesterday, you might have noticed that I have gained weight again. To be more precise... if earlier I was 12 kg away from my pre-Covid weight, now I am all of 20.
I suffer from bulimia and started to gain weight in Kyiv due to stress, air raids and personal dramas. I have also been struggling with depressive disorder for many years And it started to get me again after the New Year.
A few days ago, I once again went to see a psychiatrist. And once again they prescribed me a course of antidepressants. In recent days, my life has been reduced to waiting for them to work. All that remains is to take it more seriously this time and take the entire course. When I asked how long to take it, the answer was: "maybe a year... maybe more."

So recently I was at a lecture and it was led by a zoomer. The person constantly made references to tiktok memes, brain-rots, and computer games.
And this was the moment I realized that the time had come to make a choice: between a skeptical old lady who blames today's youth for their stupidity and a rejuvenating old lady who uses memes without understanding what they are about.

Today in Spain there was a blackout across the country, also affecting Portugal, France and Andorra. Around 1pm the power went out, a couple of hours later mobile connection and water. Just now a mobile connection appeared, there is no water and electricity yet.
