👉🏻TEMPERANCE MOVEMENT
The temperance movement is a social movement promoting temperance or complete abstinence from consumption of alcoholic beverages.
👉🏻Participants in the movement typically criticize alcohol intoxication or promote teetotalism, and its leaders emphasize alcohol's negative effects on people's health, personalities and family lives.
👉🏻Typically the movement promotes alcohol education and it also demands the passage of new laws against the sale of alcohol, either regulations on the availability of alcohol, or the complete prohibition of it.
👉🏻During the 19th and early 20th centuries, the temperance movement became prominent in many countries.

Tully monster
👉🏻 A prehistoric animal that –at 15 cm- isn’t exactly monstrous, however its strange structure made it difficult to classify as a vertebrate or invertebrate.
👉🏻 The 300-million-year-old ‘monster’ was discovered at a site known as Mazon Creek Lagerstätte in the U.S. state of Illinois.
👉🏻 Unlike dinosaur bones and hard-shelled creatures that are often found as fossils, the Tully monster was soft-bodied.

👉🏻Korku Tribe
The Korku mostly resides in the Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, and adjoining Melghat region of Maharashtra.
👉🏻The Korku are primarily cultivators. They are also excellent agriculturalists and have pioneered the cultivation of potato and coffee.
They live in small groups of huts made of grass and wood.
👉🏻Korku is one of the 196 languages termed endangered by UNESCO.
👉🏻The Korku regard their dead as Gods. To commemorate the dead, they install a memorial pillar, which is called Munda.
Note: Every year, a monthlong ecologically important campaign/festival is held during which Gond and Korku tribes in Madhya Pradesh plant saplings of fruit-bearing trees.
