👉🏻The article tells the story of a remarkable district magistrate, Divya Mittal, and her efforts to bring piped water to Lahuria Dah, a village in the Mirzapur district of Uttar Pradesh, India. Until recently, the village had struggled with severe water scarcity, relying on tankers and distant water sources for their daily needs.
👉🏻Divya Mittal, who took charge as the District Magistrate in Mirzapur in September the previous year, made it her mission to solve the water problem in Lahuria Dah. She initiated repairs to a nearby well, which was an essential water source for the village.
