👉🏻MINISTRY OF COAL EMERGES AS TOP PROCURER ON GeM

The Ministry of Coal has demonstrated its commitment to transparency, efficiency, and timely decision-making in coal production by emerging as the top procurer on the Government e-Marketplace (GeM). GeM procurement for the current fiscal year has already surpassed the annual target for FY’ 2023-24, reaching Rs 23,798 Crore as of September 14.

👉🏻The Government e-Marketplace (GeM), launched in August 2016, aims to modernize the traditional tender process and enhance transparency and integrity in government procurement through digitalization.

👉🏻The Ministry of Coal has been actively embracing this digital transformation, leading to substantial success in GeM procurement.
