RC Holochain is released on December 15th. On January 15th, the release of the stable version, Holochain Beta, was announced. So it's not about HOLO Beta. That still takes a while for Holo Beta

Difference is that holofuel will have 1 price value in the whole ecosystem of hosting, while with IOEC each group/community will have set the value of their IOEC. So if we want to swap from IOEN to IOEC, can we choose to which community IOEC we want to swap? How will the swap work?

Hi @hey_matt Simon here from the ioen team. The setup is pretty much exactly as holo is doing albeit for energy. The reason we have two tokens is that we use ioenfuel (which we used to call ioec for local energy accounting. It is not actually a currency but a local accounting service for each community to track transactions and credit within that group / community / microgrids.

Those group transactions are governed by rules set and agreed by and for that group of users.

The erc token comes in when users wish to transfer in or out, invest in or be part of that group.
Which means a user will be able to use credit earned in one group and take it to another.

I hope that makes sense. I realise we've not done a great job of describing it 😔 but really it's very similar to how holo works with reserve accounts and holofuel.

@popachubby I cannot access my HP which is registered in alpha. While I can access my 2 other HP ( not registered in Alpha) … I’ve rebooted the HP and reloaded the login page multiple times … unsuccessfully.it keeps on sending message « Holochain seems to be frozen at the moment … try to reload the page … »
