A large portion of HoloPorts are not being used because they’re still in building the test, net phase. A subset of the sold HPs are running on three different networks while the Holo software is being developed. Nobody’s earning HoloFuel for hosting yet. Those participating in the Alpha test are receiving monthly HF stipends for providing their HoloPort to the network.

To be clear, HoloPorts are the specific devices sold by Holo Ltd. the company. There are not likely to be additional devices made. (Not impossible, but not likely.)
Eventually the Holo hosting software will become available to convert any computer into a Holo Host. (not a HoloPort)
