The only purpose of HOT is to exchange for HoloFuel. That’s what it was created for. With so many other tokens out there I don’t see a reason to expect a 2nd market to arise.

However, you can sell Holofuel to hApp developers who need Holofuel to pay for hosting. The difference with HOT is that Holofuel is asset-backed, has intrinsic value, and is value-stable. It's a no-brainer for me which one is better to 'hold'.

I thought one could be swapped to the other going forwards but only guaranteed 1:1 for first 6 months. HOT was still going to remain the bridge to crypto exchanges etc to monetise Holofuel if swapped back to HOT, was my understanding anyway….
