2 months ago I was getting some help by DM in the Holo Forums with one of my Holoports. I got one reply from a support person, but he has ignored 2 additiona requests for clarification.

Holochain apps don’t need a distributed exchange. There’s no coin or token for apps to run. Can you be more specific about your question?
As far as linking to blockchain networks; the hApp maker builds that into their code. The IOEN network does that. Proof of energy is stored on Holochain, the app then mints a token on a blockchain (sorry don’t remember which one) and links the two so the data stays connected.
I have a question: so if apps are build on Holochain does it need it own dex build on it and how does interoperability works with ethereum for example?

Nathan, this is the same old, same old. “We’re working to provide more clarity and share updates…”
Really how hard is it for someone to give us anything. Community members have resorted to stalking the public github repos to ascertain that things are still happening? What the hell is everyone doing when there is no visable progress and questions like “When update?” are being ignored.
I really appreciate all the exposure and activity that Holochain is getting. But this lack of Holo communication is getting ridiculous.
As a community admin I’ve tried to keep my mouth shut publicly for complaints. Now I want the general community to know that I am as frustrated as they are at the silence. Progress has had to have happened since the last update. Why aren’t we being told? No matter how small. It feels like a big FU to the supporters.
[edited for clarity] @NATHANLENAE it would be really great if you could point out to the Team that they have regularly said will keep us up-to-date. They’ve heard the community complaints over the years of lack of communication. They will they get better for a little while then things drop off. Pretty much reliable to be unreliable now. And very annoying. How hard is it to be proactive and acknowledge that it’s been a long time since the last one? They shouldn’t be waiting for a bunch of questions to finally admit they haven’t kept their word to be better about keeping us up to date!
You or Hard Driven resharing X posts about public events is not a substitute. Heck, have Mary do a written update if she’s too busy to do a live stream. Or use a ghost writer for her. We won’t know or care.
