We’re reworking our various communications. I believe the Holochain Foundation has something coming out soon, and I’m not sure yet about when the announcements for the HoloFuel group will begin.
With Holo, we’ve agreed we’ll do a minimum of one AMA styled event and one blog/newsletter each month along with our team sharing socials and engaging in conversation here and on the Holo forum.
I think what we will find with Holochain is that small communities will start up, grow and split off using tools like Kizuna, Neighbourhoods, Moss & The Weave. If a large network grows on a single Holochain platform it will be more organic. Bluesky started out as a challenger to X/Twitter, and presented itself to people as an alternative to those who felt X/Twitter was filled with too much hate. If I wanted a large following I would use a broadcast platform like BS or X/T. If I really want an online community of like minded people, I would build it on Holochain.

Bluesky is gaining traction, gaining almost 700,000 users last month.
It's a decentralized social media app focused on user control and data privacy, utilizing the AT Protocol to enable secure, federated networks.
As people move away from X and seek alternative platforms that prioritize decentralization and privacy, I assume Kizuma, built on Holochain, will get lots of traction. With its agent-centric design, Kizuma can offer a truly peer-to-peer experience without centralized servers, which could make it highly appealing for users looking for transparency, data autonomy, and a community-driven environment.
Are we expected anymore news from the CEO or dev team in the near future?

Yeah, good point. In our work with pilot communities this year, there is definitely fatigue related to ‘installing a new app’. But when they see it can be rolled out as their own network, or their own space, which they can easily customize it’s a whole new conversation

I meant people are looking towards decentralised alternatives and it's going to get bigger with each year. So I don't think it's appropriate to say Holochain or Holo has failed because it is only the start.

I understand that. But given the recent shift and the 30 minute brief the onus really is on the team here. Providing clarity on this matter is a reasonable expectation. I’m not saying we need it immediately but at least a date for a brief or something when we can expect it to be answered. It is quite a time sensitive matter for everyone involved.
