2nd question, Are you referring to the Volla Phone, or to the Volla messages app? Both can run without holo hosting

Based on the last statements I remember (correct me if wrong) HOT for now replaces Fuel for paying hosts. Nowhere was mentioned (like you implied above) that other channels will be added for payments. Basically if its say credircard - buy HOT - pay host it‘s totally different to creditcard - pay host

Hey @LordAragorn0 This is indeed something the team is aware off. We shared that HOT will be accepted for hosting services, this does not mean we will have to limit to HOT only if the demand/need for other ways of payment is there.

If HOT is being used for payment, it would make sense that it is available on the big central exchanges in the US. 2) If other means of payment are being used instead of HOT, how does that affect the 1:1 swap for Holofuel? What even is the purpose of HOT in that case, if it is not the primary utility until Holofuel is launched.

Can you note this as a question for AMA, launch or deliver brief or whatever the appropriate name is? Because I had the impression HOT will take place of Fuel for the time being and become asset backed, while like you mentioned other methods of payment would devalue this proposition. That‘s quite a large difference in setup. If it‘s HOT only, even if people can buy via fiat, that‘s one side but if you can pay directly with fiat or other cryptos, that‘s sort of destroying the whole idea of HOT replacing Fuel.
