After looking a littel deeper I can see some areas of confustion. Kubernetes clames to be a distributed computing techlology. Holochain is a distributed computing technology. They actually mean very different things as I indicated here. Kubernetes is still using a server based model. The servers are "distributed" around a network, but applications run in a decentralized manner. Not truly distributed.
Holo hosting serves distributed Holochain apps in a more decentralized manner. So it can look like Kubernetes. In fact someone will probably attempt to build Holo hosts with Kubernetes containers when the software becomes freely available.
I hope that provides a little more clarity.

Hello Holo family! I bought a second Holo port and problems again. The first Holo port works fine. problem with the second Holo port. I registered everything correctly, but when I go to the Host-console, they write to me: it's impossible to log in, try again later and holo Port starts making loud noise. I took out the usb key, connected everything to the TV. I enter the command: hpos-reset, ok, it restarts everything is in order. Next, I write the command: hpos-update master (watch the video what happens) please help. Someone please write down the next steps. Thank you 🙏🏻

♓️ Today's Update - February 1st, 2023 [Part2of2]
Together with this release, we also announced the successful completion of the second security audit of Holochain by the security firm, Least Authority. This audit focused on Holochain Deterministic Integrity (HDI) a crucial part of what makes Holochain so powerful. The HDI allows devs to write rules ensuring all nodes make the same conclusions and ultimately reach the same data state. No small feat in a distributed system. The Holo dev teams continue to stay quietly focused on multiple milestones including HoloFuel testing, and the Purchase of Test HoloFuel at a Reserve. As part of their work they are updating hApps and infrastructure to the latest versions of Holochain and providing critical feedback into the Holochain core team.

I recently received my HoloPort.
Connected according to the manual. But it keeps flashing blue. I have now connected a monitor to see what happens. he indicates that he is missing a file . . anyone have an idea how to proceed!?

Holochain Beta Released
Holochain Beta 0.1.0 was released last week! What does this mean? It is a major milestone for Holochain and importantly means that devs will be able to have versions of their apps running consistently as they iterate towards fully fledged apps. Next up in our release sequence is the release of components, and libraries, as well as documentation and support for more development environments. These are necessary for new developers to easily get started developing Holochain apps. More on those as they're released over the coming days leading up to 9 February.
