You could download apps like Holobook, Holoswap, or Holotube, spanning everything from finance to decentralized social networks. That is my vision for Holochain.

Thanks for pinging us. I'm not sure what to say to them in response -- still trying to draft an answer. It's very ambitious and generous but any proposal like this needs to be weighed against all the other stuff going on in Holochain (for instance, even if this is the correct fix for one of the problems with sharding, validation and sharding interact in ways that are known and designed for but also very confusing to devs, and we want to redesign a bit of the data model to remove footguns -- turning sharding back on prematurely could create problems).

Additionally, vibe-coded PRs create an outsize burden on reviewers compared to handmade ones -- this is something studies across the industry are discovering. There might be a great idea in there (and in fact I think such a fix was already slated) but it just takes more time to read everything and take the good stuff.

These updates include UX enhancement to keep your Edge Nodes running smoothly (e.g. password recovery from seed phrase). The biggest hurdle to moving away from pure speculation is shifting the public mindset from “making money” with crypto to using crypto for exchanging value between real entities.
