I am a massive fan of Glenn Greenwald's work even though we don't agree on everything, all the time. He's a free speech warrior, one of the most consistent journalists anywhere, and he's earned my respect.
The leaking of his private videos is clearly politically motivated, criminal, and disgusting. The slurs against him are equally disgusting.

Nate Silver’s latest blog post notes that conservatives are up 31 points among those with self-described excellent mental health, and down 26 among those with poor mental health.
Democrats have turned themselves into the party of the neurotic, the unstable, and the miserable.

Tim Walz says of Trump’s appeal to young men, “If you don’t give kids a place to belong, they’ll go find one.”
Walz thinks he’s talking about the importance of music classes in public school or something stupid like that, but is more right than he realizes.
The left made young men, especially young white men, into complete punching bags. They said their fathers and grandfathers were evil, they discriminated against them and said they deserved it, and more.
The left told men every day that society didn’t need them and didn’t want them. So, they turned to somebody who was ready to fight for them.

For decades, elites were smug about their economic security compared to blue collar people. "Learn to code" was the line, while globalism and offshoring hollowed out the industrial base
But now, because of AI, the jobs of elites — and their children — are in grave danger. Dario Amodei, CEO of AI firm Anthropic, predicts an AI bloodbath.
In the next five years, up to 50% of entry-level white-collar jobs in the U.S. could be gone. He highlights sectors like technology, finance, law, and consulting. Add medicine to the list, too — AI can already diagnose you better than many doctors with a decade of education.
The political ramifications of this will be extreme.
If you look at the few counties where Democrats have made gains over the the last three presidential cycles, it's predominately rich enclaves where the most voters have college degrees. They have voted to entrench the establishment Democrat ruling class that has rewarded them while leaving the muscular class behind.
But now, everything may be on the verge of flipping. A gigantic economic earthquake is imminent. The people who work with their hands will likely be spared, while white-collar jobs, those who have voted for Dems in increasing margins, will be the first victims of AI job losses.
So, will the people who giddily shipped factory jobs to China in the name of efficiency suddenly demand sweeping new laws to protect their jobs as paper pushers?
