That was one of the most lopsided victories in vice presidential debate history. Despite nearly all of the questions being slanted against him, JD graciously and firmly dominated, successfully prosecuting the case against Walz AND Kamala. He is the perfect compliment to Trump. 🔥🔥

FACTS: Mark Zuckerberg, in a letter to Chairman Jim Jordan and the House Judiciary Committee, wrote that he "regrets" working with the Biden-Harris administration, which "repeatedly pressured" Meta's teams "for months" to censor COVID posts, including satire and humor, "I believe that government pressure was wrong, and I regret that we were not more outspoken about it."
JD Vance on abortion:
"As I read the Minnesota law that you signed into into into law, the statute that you signed into law, it says that a doctor who presides over an abortion where the baby survives, the doctor is under no obligation to provide lifesaving care to a baby who survives a botched late term abortion…
That is fundamentally barbaric…
We can be a big and diverse country where we respect people's freedom of conscience and make the country more pro baby and pro-family."
CBS just called Tim Walz out for lying not once, but twice:
BRENNAN: “Governor Walz, you said you were in Hong Kong during the deadly Tiananmen Square protests in the spring of 1989, but Minnesota Public Radio and other media outlets are reporting that you actually didn't travel to Asia until August of that year. Can you explain that discrepancy?"
TIM WALZ: "Yeah, well… Whether it be through teaching, which I was good at or whether it was being a good soldier, always being a good member of Congress. Those are the things that I think are the values that people care about.
BRENNAN: "Governor, just to follow up on that, the question was, can you explain the discrepancy?"
TIM WALZ: "No, just all I said on this was as I got there that summer and misspoke on this. So I will just that's what I've said. So I was in Hong Kong and China during the democracy protests went in. And from that I learned a lot of what needed to be an in governance."
This is a great answer from JD Vance on abortion. Gentle and good. Personal. Morally clear.

Yes the base loved JD's performance last night, but most importantly the VP debate allowed soft Republicans to come home. It's the only takeaway that's a big deal. Trump just solidified his center-right base of support.

Trump’s first, most important pick as the Republican candidate for president was the perfect one. His decision making has always been excellent and prescient.
CNN's John King says "Republicans are happy tonight and Democrats a little bit nervous" as Tim Walz did nothing to narrow Kamala's deficit on the top two issues of the race:
"Vance carried it.”
Trump took a ton of heat for trusting his gut and selecting JD Vance as his VP. A massive lobbying effort happened behind the scenes to block JD. Trump persisted.
Once again, Trump is vindicated. Trump was right yet again.
JD Vance just won big. And it wasn't even close.

My moderate, never Trumper friends are currently blown away at how reassuring they find JD Vance. Getting blown up with texts. The base already loves him. This is politics by addition. BOOM!

FACT-CHECK: Under Gov. Tim Walz's watch, at least eight babies were born alive during botched abortions. All eight of them died. None of them received any care attempting to save their lives, and most of them didn't receive basic comfort care either. They were treated like garbage, and then thrown away.
We know this is true, because until 2023 Minnesota, despite not punishing the neglect of born-alive infants, at least required such failed abortions to be reported.
For Walz, it wasn't the dead babies that were a problem. It was the "reporting" part. So, Walz had the law changed to eliminate any reporting requirement for botched abortions, and make it so doctors and nurses were no longer required to provide care to born-alive infants.

JD VANCE on Kamala Harris’s border policies:
"Kamala Harris went out bragging that she was going to undo Donald Trump's border policy. She did exactly that. We had a record number of illegal crossings. We had a record number of fentanyl coming into our country...
The only thing that she did when she became the Vice President, when she became the appointed Border Czar, was to undo 94 Donald Trump executive actions that opened the border. This problem is leading to massive problems in the United States of America. Parents who can't afford healthcare, schools that are overwhelmed. It's got to stop. Tim Walz just admitted he lied about being in China during the Tiananmen Square Massacre.
And it was painful to watch.
