So far you might have been called CRUD developer. Let me change you today by challenging you on the following.
What if you create your own Redis Database? Head over to this site before March and crush it https://codecrafters.io/
But i have also another challenge why don't you create a Peer To Peer Video Call application ?
Is that easy let's push it a little bit why don't you create your own Language Server for your favourite programming language ?
Too hard okay let me make it easy why dont you create your own JSON parser that handle parsing, dumping to json(make sure to include indentation option). This will make you busy for a bit.
Push the boundary people let's make ourself uncomfortable for a while and learn the most out of it.
Enjoy,
Chapi Menge

Hello there 😊!
So, I started reading "The Mom Test" by Rob Fitzpatrick an hour ago, and it's been a real eye-opener. I only read two chapters so far but let me tell you a bit about it.
In chapter one, He talks about an idea he called "The Mom Test." Basically, it's a wake-up call about why you shouldn't rely on friends and family for unbiased feedback on your business ideas. The chapter made me rethink not only who I go to for input but also how I approach those conversations, steering away from just seeking approval.
For instance, he points out a bad question like, "Would you buy a product which did X?" – it's too easy for someone to say yes to be nice. On the flip side, a good question might be, "Can you tell me about a time when you faced this problem?" – it gets people sharing real experiences instead of just giving compliments or care for our emotions.
Then, in chapter two, he dives deep into "avoiding bad data". He talks about how we can easily fall into traps like thinking everyone loves our ideas (that's confirmation bias) or only seeking approval instead of real opinions. He gives practical tips on asking questions that really get to the truth, cutting through the fluff and getting honest insights. If you're serious about startups or just want to make your ideas better, you've got to read this book.
I might've downplayed how good the book is with my message, but trust me, give it a shot, and I am sure you are going to find some amazing insights.
