A New York judge has approved a $12.7 billion settlement between FTX, Alameda Research, and the CFTC, ending a 20-month lawsuit. The entire amount will be paid back to FTX creditors, with no additional penalties imposed.
Creditors are voting on their payout preference, with final decisions expected by October 7.
🚀 Robinhood's Q2 crypto revenue skyrocketed by 161% to $81 million, more than double its earnings from equities.
Despite a dip in user activity and a 27% drop in total trades, Robinhood's crypto assets under custody rose by 57%.
The firm is also set to acquire crypto exchange Bitstamp and expand its AI capabilities with the acquisition of Pluto Capital. 📈
Robinhood (HOOD) stock fell 0.52% to $17.12 on Aug. 7 but is up 2.86% since the firm’s Q2 results came out in after-hours trading
