Like there is a good argument for keeping your TA simple, but there are a lot of other factors outside of TA that will influence the success of the trade and how long it will take to play out. I think most of us a smart enough to be able to accurately predict HTF moves, but we will often close to early, or get stopped out multiple times before it actually makes the move. MMs and whales will milk liquidity the best the can, support and resistance aren't extremely accurate solid numbers. It's better to look at supply and demand zones for SL/Invalidation, etc etc

Sometimes you can be right, but it's really hard to get the timing right. I've been doing a bit of reading about time targets as opposed to (or in conjunction with) price targets. It can be back tested, so you can plan for how long you need to wait out a consolidation or for the market to find support based on historical PA
