The command of the 792nd Air Defense Brigade of the Taiwan Air Force at the Fangshan military training ground in Pingtung County on December 7 conducted an exercise to simulate repelling drones from China.
The personnel of the 2nd company of the 303rd battalion were involved in the exercise.
Firing was carried out with high-explosive and tracer shells at UAV targets from 35-mm anti-aircraft guns in daylight and dark. At the same time, the fire was carried out both aimed and with the help of radar for searching and targeting targets.
Thus, the island continues to prepare air defense crews to respond to air threats from the Taiwan Strait in the event of a conflict with China.
