BIG: Ukraine is considering lifting its wartime ban on drone exports.
— The ban was implemented in 2022 after Russia's full-scale invasion to ensure Ukraine's army gets all necessary supplies.
Motivations for lifting the ban:
— To scale up Ukraine's drone industry to match Russia's battlefield capabilities.
— To generate revenue for drone manufacturers, potentially up to $20 billion.
— To attract foreign investors and buyers for Ukrainian drone technology.
— Ukrainian forces face a significant shortage of drones for surveillance, cover, and long-range attacks. The state budget for weapons in 2024 is only $6 billion, with about one-third allocated for drones.
— This budget is insufficient to meet frontline demands and invest in research and development. Russia currently has a 5-10 to 1 advantage in battlefield drones.
— Drone companies are looking to sell excess production abroad to generate revenue for manufacturing more drones for the army. Some Ukrainian manufacturers have started producing in Poland to circumvent the export ban.

🇺🇦 In the Moscow region, the deputy general director and head of the software department of KB Mars, Mikhail Shatsky, was allegedly shot.
He was involved in upgrading the Kh-59 cruise missiles to the Kh-69 level and developing new types of UAVs that Russia uses to strike Ukraine.

🇭🇺 - Yesterday, during a press conference, a opposition politician attempted to attack Hungarian PM Viktor Orban.
✍️ The attacker screamed "How much money did you get from betraying our nation?" and got tackled down and dragged away immediately after.
Apparently, the U.S. 🇺🇸 military has put together a list of weapons that could help Ukraine 🇺🇦 in its fight. Among other things, the list includes JASSM (the American equivalent of the Storm Shadow missile) and the Link 16 communication system.
It raises the question: if the U.S. military believes these weapons would be effective, why haven’t they been sent yet? Could it be that the U.S. and some Western nations don’t want Ukraine to win the war? This pattern of behavior has been going on for so long that such questions need to be asked.
In case you wonder why the American continent only suffers from hurricanes while Asia is only affected by typhoons:
