This is especially interesting to me, and is what I see as a successful bottoms up approach
I remember being very intrigued by Square when they first started - with a focus on small businesses (local cafes etc.)
Same thing, Square offered both ToB (e.g. payroll) and ToC services
The common concept here is
1. Target a niche category
2. Offer a comprehensive suite of services

I do recognize that there is a fundamental psychological element involved here in spending by the user
e.g. omg the sourdough looks so good I want to buy
so even if the agent says 'no you are too poor to afford this fking loaf of bread' - the user might still go ahead to spend on it

Given Google's suite of products, I'm guessing they can implement an agent layer onto whichever makes sense
Eventually, we start paying for that automation - most likely a recurring payment
The more the agent is put to use, the more it learns about the user patterns and evolves to be more personalized - making the switching cost rather high
