Hey COTI Community We want to address community and token concerns that have been surfacing, and build upon Shahaf’s community update from today. With the prolonged and ongoing challenging market conditions, it’s natural and expected for these questions and concerns to continue to arise. 

COTI Tokenomics: 
COTI Team is working on an update to our tokenomics to support our upcoming developments on multi-chain privacy, Nodes V2 & decentralized Treasury system.
These updates will include: 
• Additional revenue sources to the chain & protocol
• Advanced burning mechanisms
• New Nodes V2 & Treasury - which should increase staked supply

Stay on the look out for new tokenomics - as we intend to publish it soon. 

On Earn Token Rewards:
• In the current pace, total rewards for the year should account to less than 3% of the supply increase annually. 
• These reward incentives help bootstrap the network and ecosystem, which drives activity, new holders, and will ultimately generate revenue for the protocol and help drive demand.
• The program incentivizes holding and re-staking reward tokens, which a significant percentage of users choose to do. 
• COTI Earn has helped support the growth of Privex - which hit Top 10 perps chain by volume last week and Carbon DeFi which continues to grow. 
• COTI Earn also helps COTI attract more dApps to deploy on the chain and expose them to new users. 
• Ultimately, COTI Earn rewards are on-par with other chains, and we’ll continue to evaluate the program season by season.

We understand market conditions are rough right now, but the tech is here to stay. We’re building for the brighter future, and are choosing to utilize this time to aggressively scale in 2026, so we are ready for prime time when the market improves.
