You can swap for USDC.e on CarbonDefi. Far easier. If Binance, you have to bridge your COTI back to V1.

you're right in that it would not take much effort at all to list coti V2 with it being an EVM layer 2. That's not up to Coti though that's up to binance to list V2. Maybe there isn't enough volume on V2 yet to push binance to put the effort in or whatever to write a V2 link , binance will have their reasons and us wouldn't find out why.

If you have a fair chunk of change to swap , I'd go down the bridge route and go to binance by swapping coti at bridge.coti.io if the gas was low on Ethereum, and it seems to be. swap 25k coti or less per 24hrs. If you're only talking loose change then carbon defi is fine in my opinion.

I like to think of erc20 and bep20 as version "X" in that they are unaffected by V1 or V2. They have always been swappable under V1 and V2 I believe....don't quote me on bep20 though I don't use it haha
